wahabian: Bulls eye ! Most people who talk about these topics never even been to calabar, sometimes the girls they refer to as calabar are Akwa ibom. Even here ,the calabar girl respect the Akwa ibomites for the "thing" .
As per the food,na big lie! I don't knw where people are getting all this from.Na shit dem dey cook.come to cross river state and taste it yourself.Rice go dey watery and tasteless ! Every food got one bitter vegetable or the other.
Moral of the story ,the whole Calabar thing is just a fable passed from generation to generation. You couldn't be more right bro , the food is just smh , I really don't cook, I pratically visited all the whole canteens in Calabar when I was there ,,, imagine the fvckery of eating saltless rice with pepper soup .... I really suffered!! Even all their afang soup is as bitter as they come ,, go to a cool spot to hangout and u can't even order any sense making Suya.... Smh Th Gehs in Cali are easy to get though, especially the native Cali and ibom girls ,, a plate of rice and pepper soup would get you laid ... It's all good though, I still cherish my calabar memories ... 'Twas a year of sexual expression for me |

Dabss: just 2. But I am sick of the Hype. Calabar girls don't have any sexual superpowers abeg! I keep telling people this same thing , I served in calabar and I had my fair share of possay,, only about 2 were really great in bed and they weren't even calabar , they were akwa ibom, the remaining calabar girls I slept with were as mediocre in bed as their Ibo and Yoruba counterparts.... It's all stereotype joor |

An Igbo man mistakenly sent 2 million naira to a wrong phone number via Mobile Money Transfer. He thought of what to do so as to stop the person from withdrawing the money and he came up with this: He sent a message to the person's phone saying. "Hello Dark and Worthy Initiate, I hope u are ok. I believe u have received the money I sent to u? It's for your initiation into the Eternal Mystical Order Of Glorious Satanism in the Ogboni Fraternity scheduled to take place tomorrow's midnight 12am. That money is only for your transport. I'll send you more for your shopping. There are riches awaiting you in this Kingdom. Two weeks after the initiation, a family member very close to your heart will die in a mysterious circumstance and another 2 weeks later the next person close to your heart again will die too, these deaths will unlock your ticket to wealth, ability to fly at night to any part of the world, change into all kinds of animal to deliver your various assignments. Remember to come with a syringe and needle for drawing your blood every 20 minutes. Please remember that you must not come a minute late nor a minute earlier because the Viceroy of Satan will be there himself to officiate the ceremony. Thanks in advance. But in case you are not ready to join, please send back the money otherwise you will die in the next 24hrs". .......5 minutes later he got an sms saying, pls send another 10million naira my friends are also interested... Actually this sounds more stu.pid than funny |

mistypiper: Thanks. Is apple still signing today? Though i have iOS8.1.1 at the moment.
Any iphone thread on this section? Yes they are , but don't upgrade your iOS verison yet , not until an untethered jailbreak is released. Your verison is still fully jail breakable |
Phones › Notice To All Jailbreakers , Ios 8.1.3 Above by holusormi(op): 10:39pm On Apr 12, 2015 |
This message is intended for people whose iOS devices are on iOS 8.1.3 above , as you already know there is currently no jailbreak for iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 and the recently released iOS 8.3
Information reaching me suggests that a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 might be released later this week or very soon and it's likely the jailbreak won't work on iOS 8.3 , so if you are in iOS 8.1.3 it's best to download iOS 8.2 and restore via iTunes because Apple is still signing iOS 8.2 and if you already upgraded to 8.3 , its best you downgrade to 8.2 asap before Apple closes the signing window .
Currently jailbreak is only possible for devices on iOS 8.0 to 8.1.2 so if you are among the lucky ones , be very careful of what you install as a simple incompatible tweak can force you to restore via iTunes to iOS 8.3 and you will most definitely lose your jailbreak!!
Just thought I'd let you know. this message is intended for all jailbreakers and intending jailbreakers. |

Billyonaire: One can actually marry with 80,000 a month salary, but I am damn sure the marriage will not last 2 years if that Salary is not increased. You have to factor in rent, electricity bills, gas bill, transportation to/fro work, money for condom (considering no kid is welcomed yet), brazilian hair for new wife, DSTV bill has just gone high, money set aside for Blood pressure pills, and for mosquito drugs as well as mosquito repellant if you live in Lagos. Now you know when I said the marriage will not last more than 2 years without the wife cheating on the beloved husband for extra coins to meet her need for bleaching cream. You are the most realistic person here !!! |

Freshboi: How can a family spend N70k on feeding in a month? Are they Nephilims? Food should be N30k max for a family of four. The N30k sef is even high. When you know the intricacies of Lagos markets, feeding will be cheap Shut up !!! Your daddy is still feeding you , come back when u start feeding yourself !! P.s : if you are still depending on your parents , you have no right to comment on this topic. Thank you |
Family › Re: Marriage With 80000 Salary Per Month? by holusormi(m): 8:22pm On Apr 09, 2015 |
PassingShot: Lets do this arithmetic:
Salaries (both) = 140k/month = 1.68M/year
Rent = 150,000 Feeding =290,000 per year (about 800 naira daily) Transportation = 150,000 per year (500 daily for both, 25 days per month) Clothing and other stuffs = 100,000 yearly (8,500 monthly) Health care allowance = 60,000 per year (5,000 monthly)
Total so far = 150k+290k+150+100K = 750,000 NGN 750,000 + 10% mark up = 825,000
From 1.68M there is still a credit balance of about 855,000.
Am I missing something?
Even plus schooling of the first kid which doesn't necessarily have to be planned on this early income, there is still enough left to do that.
Sophyrocks, please put hole in the arithmetic above. 800 naira daily for food ,, for how many people Lol... Expenses have a funny way of creeping in on us ,,, don't bank on that bro ,, they will spend more than *3 of that on food ....I tried that budget thingy when i was serving ,,, suffering na understatement |

Romance › Re: Should I Take Her Back After All? (cheating Girl Friend) by holusormi(m): 12:28pm On Apr 05, 2015 |
GentleToks: Listen young man, life is all about disappointment and ability to deal with it via wisdom; your father, mother, elder, younger ones must have disappointed you at a point in time but because of your undying love for these people, it becomes difficult for you not to forgive them. Naturally, you forgive them and move on with the same level of love you have always had for them. And of course your own children would disappoint you at a point on time and the same undying love would kick in which will eventually lead to your forgiveness.
At this point, it's not all about the relationship u had with her but about your fear for God, Life itself and what the future holds for you. Who knows why God put you in the position of helping her? However, you seems to have failed or failing the test of life. Guess what, if God does not need your assistance at that point when she was going through that pain, He has His way of doing His own things(Bible says: His way is not always our ways). Trust me, your journey from where you were might not have been possible if God does need you there or she might have had a clean and hitch-free abortion but I believe that God wants you there
The same girl might turn out to be part of your destiny in the future, not necessarily as a wife or girlfriend. Life is not all about today but tomorrow.
Here is story of a man who betrayed me....
I remember an extremely wealthy man who did everything to frustrate my life during my service year. I was used for their wealth; I mean my account was used to embezzle as much money as my Account could take without getting paid for it. My friends asked me to disappear with this money but I said No. Why, I knew right from day one that I would be wealthy in life; it's a natural feeling that comes to you and I refused to touch their money until the man relocated abroad. He tendered his resignation letter and left Nigeria for US and this was done so as to avoid EFCC during the famous Soludo' bank consolidation/mergers. Lest before I forget, their house in Maitama was supervised from foundation till completion by me and I ensure those foreign dogs were well fed with Tantalizer or Mr Biggs left over which was usually sold in Kg then.
He got to US and transfer all his money from my Account to his own Account; fair enough but my problem started after that. He wanted to get rid of me and he did everything to achieve this. I was eventually persuaded and begged by our church's pastor and parents to leave Abuja for south west with a promise to sponsor my trip to US. I left my newly found Job and made my way to south west.
To cut the long story short, after 3 years in US, I met the same man through his wife who remain my friend. She never stopped apologising on behalf of her husband though. This man was in US and needed someone to stand in for him as a guarantor but couldn't find. His wife suggested my name and was shocked to find out I live in US. I eventually stood in for him and what he needed was later approved and we are both living in UK today. However, guilty conscience has never allowed him to be free around me.... Lol,,, please change your mentality or people will keep walking on you for life !!!..... Don't be afraid of vengeance , the best way to stop people from acting bad to you is to give them a dose of their own medication!!... It's called the mirror effect, you mirror their actions to them so they can see their own folly |
