shaboti:But can't be compared with that of Rivers, do you agree? |
Abdulsalam Abubakar is one of those who invested in the Power Sector, and I doubt if the license issued to him will be revoked. I just hope Buhari carries out his constitutional duties without fear or favour. |
waternogetemeny:Amen!!! If Tinubu's boyz will continue to perform like Fashola and Tinubu himself (as he laid d foundation which Fashola built on), o boy we want it o. We'll rather have them than have d likes of Bode George (an ex-con), Buruju Kashamu (a wanted drug baron), Ogunlewe ( d master scammer), all disguising as Agbaje to lead us in Lagos. And may we never have a Jimi Agbaje again, one who's ready to desecrate the throne of the Oba of Lagos to achieve his aims. One who put oil into d fire made by d Oba, to cause the peaceful co-existence btw we Yoruba's and our brodas 4rm d East go sour. Again, Amen to ur prayer!!! |
ceejay4real:Dailytimes was my source for that result, but just confirmed it as inconclusive according to Punch Newspaper. "In the total result announced by the Returning Officer, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Rochas Okorocha, polled a total of 385,071 votes, while his closest challenger and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Emeka Ihedioha, got 306,142 votes. However, Ibidapo-Obe declared the election inconclusive because the total number of votes in the areas, where the election did not take place, was higher than the margin between the two leading candidates, Okorocha and Ihedioha". Sorry for the misinformation. |
23:07 Okorocha defeats Ihedioha in Imo From Johnkennedy Uzoma,Owerri Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has been declared winner of the governorship election conducted on Saturday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The Imo State returning officer, Prof. Ibedapo Obe said Governor Rochas Okorocha won in 20 LGAs polling a total vote of 392, 093 while the PDP candidate and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Emeka Ihedioha won in seven LGAs scoring a total vote of 305,478 to come second. The APGA candidate Capt. Emmanuel Ihenacho who had earlier in the day called for the cancelation of the election in the state came third scoring 39, 909 votes. shadowgwalker:Well if he didn't, then I assume he has a reason not to if he feels there were many irregularities in d entire process. One can't just be congratulating pple like mumu because one wants to form good man. If you feel cheated you scream so that pple can know what's up. Even in Lagos, despite the fact that Agbaje of d PDP called Ambode to congratulate him, the PDP still went ahead to reject results. So that's d spirit. |
Symphony007:But I learnt Ameachi already called Wike to congratulate him for his victory. So when did APC turn to International Observers? International Observers are not APC. |
I just hope she succeeds in her quest to lead the States, it will be difficult though considering d fact that no Democrat has had the luxry to hand-over to another Democrat since Franklin D. Roosevelt after 12 yrs in office handed over to Harry S. Truman in 1945. Let's wait and see the candidates the Republican will be presenting to see if she has a chance. I really hope to she wins, but first, she needs to win d Democrat's primaries, as it is usually fiercely contested. Best of Luck to her. |
Sai Ambo!!! Sai Taiwo Awoniyi!!! 88 min Zam 1 Nig 2 Awoniyi 2 goals |
APC coasting home to victory just like the Dream Team IV is leading by a lone goal in Lusaka, Zambia. Awoniyi as done it again!!!!!!!!! HT Zambia 0 Nig1 All Africa Games is loading....D first test for the pple's General in sports. |
Chaii I don dye!!! See person wey Nigeria's football fraternity don reject dey form boss. I hope NFF wlll cut him to size and do d needful now that his benefactor is on his way to Otueke. Stephen Keshi, you have failed the Nation...Where is that broom abeg? |

Acidosis:Oh if Tinubu hs bn chopping it alone, then u think Lagosians shld allow d aforementioned dudes insert their beaks on Lagos finances abi? And 4 ur info, all allegations against Tinubu are not substantial, if they are, he wld have bn convicted long time ago. But can Bode George and Buruji Kashamu boast of same...One is an ex-con and d oda a wanted drug lord wanted by a world Superpower. |
Activa:The ans to ur question is simple...Lagos with the GDP of about 42 African Nations, why won't PDP be hell bent on winning Lagos...Without Lagos and Rivers, where u want make their members dey chop in d next four years? But by d time d likes of Bode George (d ex-con), Ogunlewe, Ifeanyi Ubah, Kashamu (d renowned drug and juju lord) Mimiko, Fayose (who will soon b jobless if not in prison very soon), and oda bugs descends on Lagos State, oh my gosh, una go fear fear!!! |
So many well meaning Yorubas has frowned at and apologised for the ugly statement by Oba Akiolu, yet these pple are going an extra learnt to make sure they melt out their anger on Ambode. I wonder why some pple can be so unforgiving. Anyways, except d Almighty God wishes dat power changes hand in Lagos State, will all these threats not be in vain. For it is written in d book of Ps 127:1 "Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it..." Only if God is against Ambo will ur coming 2gether be fruitful. Isaiah 8: 9 & 10 9 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. 10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. |
lastpage:U are very correct...I just hope he won't dance to d tune of d legislators and just do the right thing...He's strong-willed, so I hope he survives d murky waters of Nigerian politics doing good. |
All these billionaires and politicians u see decamping here and there are not doing so to betray GEJ as such, they're just doing so to protect their interests; to protect their ill-gotten wealth or better still increase it if allowed. They think it will be difficult 4 d Gen to hunt down his corrupt party men. I just hope my able General will stand firm on his promise to fight corruption staunchly. |
At least Tinubu gave us Fashola who performed wonderfully well in Lagos. So why can't we trust another gem in Ambode? Can we put the future of Lagos State in d hands of Ifeanyi Uba, Bode George and Seyi Ogunlewe disguising as Agbaje and not regret it in a not too distant future? |
I don't know why these PDP people won't leave this man alone. At least no anti-corruption body has deem it fit to produce substantial documents to prove that Tinubu committed all these crimes he's bn accused of. No body is a criminal until proven guilty. They called him a drug baron who dared not enter US, but he's flown in and out of the States countless of times without bn arrested. But can the main sponsor of the PDP in Ogun State (Buruji Kashamu) do same? Can Agbaje's Godfather (Bode George) stand near him when it comes to bn clean? He's an ex-con; convicted of stealing over a billion naira in NPA. I wonder what will happen to Lagos if JK wins, knowing fully well that their major source of income has dried up in Abuja. Give Ifeanyi Uba, Bode George and Seyi Ogunlewe 2 years in Alausa, u go fear fear. Tinubu was recently praised by the US newspaper, Financial Times, for being behind Buhari’s success. According to FT, "Tinubu is deeply Machiavellian and a master strategist who has cannily built empire among ethnic Yorubas in Lagos and the south west and built a reputation for himself just like that of late Obafemi Awolowo". Can a wanted drug baron be praised? They will always come up with stories to discredit this man, with the whole propaganda with the tax payers' money on NTA and AIT, with the militarisation and dollarisation of the SW what became of GEJ? He whom God has blessed, no man can curse. Hate him or like him, he will always come out on top no matter d oppositn. - Ask OBJ - Ask GEJ He's truly the LION OF THE WEST!!! |
