Kebbi Re-Run: State Government Begins Intimidation Of Opponents

Following the preparations for the re-run of Kebbi State governorship election, in which the Independent National Electoral Commission , INEC has announced Saturday, April 15 as the new election, fresh information emerged that the Abubakar Atiku Bagudu-led State government has allegedly commenced intimidation of opponents, especially PDP members.

INEC had declared the Kebbi gubernatorial election inconclusive on the grounds that the poll was marred by irregularities, intimidation as well as “massive vote cancellation and over-voting” in 20 of the 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
Yusuf Sa’idu, INEC collation, and returning officer, said “We aggregated the total number of collected PVCs in those polling units ( where votes were cancelled) and it came to a total of 91,829. And when we checked the results, the two leading political parties in this contest, APC and PDP polled 388,258 and 342,980 votes respectively. When we looked at the difference, it stands at 45,278,” he said.
Quoting the Electoral Act 2022, Yusuf Sa’idu said: “Where the number of votes cast in an election in any polling unit exceeds the number of accredited voters in that polling unit, the presiding officer shall cancel the result of the election in that polling unit. Subsection three of section 51 also states that where the result of an election is cancelled in accordance with sub-section two, there shall be no return for the election until another poll has taken place in the affected polling unit.
“By virtue of these provisions and the powers vested in me as the collation and returning officer of the 2023 gubernatorial election in Kebbi State, I, Professor Yusuf Sa’idu of the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto, hereby declare the gubernatorial election in Kebbi State inconclusive.”
Piqued by such a decision, the Chairman of APC Kebbi State Publicity Committee for the governorship campaign, Kabiru Sani-Giant, on Sunday, March 26, 2023 called on INEC to remove Professor Yusuf Sa’idu for what he described as “Bias in discharging official responsibility.”

However and in reaction, an independent election observer who has been monitoring the election in Kebbi describes APC’s action as “Childish.”
Continuing, the observer who preferred to be anonymous because he is yet to officially submit his reports said “There have been lots of intimidations of PDP members in Yauri local government area and other parts of Kebbi State by APC because of their desire to win the election at all cost. Governor Atiku Bagudu’s eight years in the saddle have been a failure. That accounts for the reason APC cannot win the State and they know this. People are getting enlightened and they know what is good for them. When our report is out, the world will know everything that happened,” he disclosed.

Further, the election observer noted that the Commissioner of Police deployed on the State, CP Abubakar Lawal has allegedly almost become a tool in the hands of the State government saying that in the 11 Wards in Yauri local government area, the rate at which the State government has been using Police unprofessionally is alarming.
However, clarification requests sent to the known telephone numbers of Commissioner Lawal Abubakar and Nafiu Abubakar, the Command spokesman, were not responded to as of the time of filing this report.

PoliticsDear Aruviere Martin Egharhevwa, Blame Sen. Ovie Omo-agege For His Unfortunate E by Hunter2009(op): 3:48pm On Mar 27, 2023
Dear Aruviere Martin Egharhevwa,
BLAME Sen. OVIE OMO-AGEGE FOR HIS UNFORTUNATE ELECTION WOES IN THE JUST CONCLUDED GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION AND NOT LAURETTA ONOCHIE, CAIRO OJOUGBOH, IYKE ODIKPO, AND VICTOR OCHEI.

Omo-Agege's high-handedness and blatant refusal to consult and engage with relevant stakeholders within the APC, especially in Delta North to synergize with a view of fighting a united front and for the unity of purpose in pursuance of the governorship mandate, resulted in him loosing gallantly. NO ONE SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR HIS LOSS BUT HIMSELF!

By that singular act of Omo-Agege hijacking the state party structure without recourse to other stakeholders, he brought the party to her knees in the just concluded election.

Throughout history, nobody has ever become the governor of any state working alone. He who seeks to represent the Interest of the people must be in touch and in consonance with the people he seeks to represent. Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege was a lone worker in his Governorship quest forgetting the Anioma adage which says, "There's strength in number".

It is very laughable when I see some lazy individuals throw tantrums at Delta North APC leaders as the cause of Omo-Agege losing the election. And I ask, how?

For the records, out of sheer negligence, Omo-Agege never consulted nor engaged with Lauretta Onochie and Buhari support organizations ( BSO), Delta state, now Tinubu/Shetta Campaign Team, under the able leadership of Chief Emma Ejiofor over his governorship vision. He did not consult with APC leaders across the state. In fact, he was instrumental to running Chief Great Ogboru and many APC leaders and stakeholders out of the party.

He believed he could be the governor of Delta state without the inputs of these people including the Secretary of the party in Delta State, Nick Ovuakporie and other stalwarts in Delta North and South which he also, looked down on. His instinct failed him! Blame no one for your loss, Augustine Ovie Omo-Agege!

Omo-Agege in a bid to pocket APC Delta state, have stood severally against Lauretta Onochie’s nominations into public offices of note. He fought and sponsored protests against Onochie's nomination as INEC Federal commissioner and subsequently stood against her normination as NDDC board Chairman by President Muhammadu Buhari. As God will have it, all his witch-hunting and fight was effort in futility. God does not sleep.

Lauretta Onochie's emergence as the NDDC board chairman was as a result of dint of hard work, integrity, trust and capacity to deliver on the mandate in the overall interest of Niger Deltans and not for some selected few. Those who think she should have rolled out cash in support of Ovie Omo-Agege's governorship race do so out of ignorance and a corrupt mentality. NDDC is and will not be a cash cow for greedy fellows, not under Lauretta Onochie's watch.

As one of Omo-Agege's hangers-on, you must have missed the fact or allowed bias to becloud your recollection that Lauretta Onochie was a lead figure in the campaign for Tinubu/Shettima presidential mandate across the nation and in Delta state. Herself, Chief Emma Ejiofor, Coordinator Tinubu/Shettima campaign group, Delta State & team, alongside Dr. Iyke Odikpo, toured around some LGA's in Delta state for medical outreach and sensitization campaign, mobilizing support for Tinubu/Shettima mandate. They sponsored several town hall meetings and mobilized interest groups across the board for door to door mobilisations. More than anyone else in Delta state, Lauretta Onochie contributed towards Tinubu/Shettima Presidential campaign.

Omo-Agege would have first, concentrated more on mending broken bridges he destroyed intentionally, rather than building walls, before going into the elections proper.

Martin, Omo-Agege failed himself not Cairo Ojougbo, not Iyke Odikpo, not Victor Ochei and definitely not Lauretta Onochie nor any other whom accusing fingers have been pointed to.

You too, Martin, failed Omo-Agege. His brother, Jimmy told him the truth. You were busy, scheming which position you will get that you did not realize that Omo-Agege failed in the election before it kicked off.
BLAME NO ONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF AND DSP Augustine Ovie Omo-Agege.

Sincerely Yours.
Comr. Charles Njuwe

Furthermore, During d @OfficialAPCNg Presidential Primaries, DSP @OvieOmoAgege ordered d Delta delegates, which he personally handpicked to vote SP, Ahmad Lawan. And after Asiwaju Bola Tinubu @officialABAT won d ticket, he was given money to organize for the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign in Delta. state. But Agege didn't do anything. He instead entered into an agreement with LP's Peter Obi, so he can support him for the Presidential elections while the Obedient movement in the state would support him for d governorship.

So rather than print posters and banners with Tinubu's pictures. they were printed with Obi's pictures. Omo-Agege did not attend any of the Presidential Campaigns in the 36 states and Abuja. Not even the one hosted by his good friend Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.

We were told he gave money to Obi, but couldn't even pay agents working for APC, despite. all the money given to him. The budget for the Warri Campaign was 10 times inflated. Collecting Asiwaju's money to sponsor Obi. But because PO is selfish like him, he let him support him for the Presidential elections but later disappointed him for d governorship. He didn't even say. a word. That was why, in Omo-Agege's Ughelli North LGA, same APC that got only 11,196 at the Presidential election, to LP's 22,589, scored 34,955 votes to LP's 1 438 votes during the governorship. The bad news was that because Obi didn't abandon him after the elections, LP in d6. didn't get to work for him. He was so sure PO would win, so didn't care. The APC party agents during the Presidential Elections weren't paid any kobo even till date.

After the Presidential election, d LP governorship candidate in the state went around Warri with his supporters,7. cutting off PO's picture from Omo-Agege's banners. See video. The question is, why would a DSP for that matter, use the picture of another party’s candidate when his own party has a candidate? There was even a picture of him with some OBIdients with a banner at his Country home, Orogun8. See pics. Before u come here to defend him, just bring one pics of him attending any of d APC rallies apart from d one in Warri.

Today, he is hiring disgruntled elements to blackmail the Chairman of @NDDCOnline, Lauretta Onochie @Laurestar and Cairo Ojougboh,@AkinuwaAnioma9. They are now accusing them of working against d APC in the state in the Presidential and governorship elections. They said Onochie didn't even come to Delta to campaign for Asiwaju.

Apart from the fact that Lauretta Onochie was Deputy National DG of the Tinubu/Shettima Women10. The campaign team and took part in all their activities. She was also one of the coordinators of d Buhari Support Organisation (BSO) Delta State. An organization she is also one of the financiers over d years. On the 25 January, a meeting that included all 25 LGA's coordinators was 11. held at the Secretariat Asaba, where it was agreed that d BSO shall prosecute the 2023 elections under d name Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Group. See pics. Alot of campaign activities were lined up. There was a free Medical Outreach, Townhall meetings and many other events to12. galvanize support for APC Presidential Candidates. See pics.

Meanwhile, as far back as June 2022, Cairo Ojougboh have started speaking on National TV in defence of a Muslim/Muslim ticket even when Asiwaju hasn't picked a running mate. And after Tinubu picked Kashim13. Shettima and d uproar that greeted it, Dr Ojougboh was one of d first APC leaders to defend d ticket on National TV stations like @ARISEtv. And he took part in a lot of d Campaign events, even working closely with Asiwaju. See pics.

Because Omo-Agege is now desperate and14. knows that come May 29, he won't be even an ordinary floor member at d Senate and won't be a gov, that all d powers he has been using to oppress everybody in Delta would have gone,he is now trying to drag people he see as a threat, with the hope that Asiwaju would look his way in. his cabinet.

They said Onochie is not fit to occupy d position of NDDC Chairman because APC lost her Polling Unit, that it happened because she worked against APC. But we're not surprised because Omo-Agege fought against her going to INEC, and still fighting her NDDC16. appointment.
In 2019, APC lost @ProfOsinbajo's polling unit. Did he work against APC? In this elections, APC lost Lagos, Tinubu's home state. Did he work against APC? APC lost Kastina. Did Buhari work against APC? APC lost Kaduna, did @elrufai work against APC? What about17. Solomon Lalong? Did he work against APC?

I am not surprised at his actions though because I know him. A man who thinks everything in life is gra gra. A man who got into office and was fighting everybody who helped him get to that office including Buhari. He acted like it will18. never end. He acted like Delta state APC was his personal estate and his word is law. He could only win 4 out of d 4 LGA's he represents at the Senate. But why won't he? When he has been acting like he was only elected to represent only his village Orogun by taking everything19. there?
Now he wants to blame others for his woeful performance.

Leave Onochie and Ojougboh alone. They've no hands in your 4/25 score.

Ogun State Not For Sale: Real Reasons Adebutu Should Be Arraigned Over Electoral Fraud

By Ibukun Odumefun

From Ladi Adebutu’s comical pantomime at INEC’s office in Abeokuta, a disconcerting truth manifests for the umpteenth time: that Nigerian politicians are mostly sore losers. Haunted by hubris, they approach every election with an impossible conviction to win, even when the run of play manifests convincingly to their defeat.

The desperate and diabolical measures embarked upon by Labi Adebutu, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP’s governorship candidate in Ogun State, to win the election held last Saturday, March 18, has left many people aghast and disturbed.

Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was declared the winner of the keenly contested election. But Adebutu and his party did not go down without showing their proclivity for the unorthodox in their desperation to appropriate Ogun State. Adebutu, a former House of Representatives member, is the son of one of Ogun State’s wealthiest men, the Lotto billionaire, Chief KessingtonAdebutu.

Widely perceived as haughty and aloof, the rotund politician battled tooth and nail before he could get the PDP governorship ticket. It was not until January 2023 that the Supreme Court ruled in a case instituted by Jimi Lawal and Segun Sowunmi over the legality of Adebutu’s emergence as the party’s candidate. Lawal and Sowunmi had emerged as parallel candidates in elections organised by different factions of the party.

With the ticket in his clutch and his father’s deep pocket, Adebutu reckoned that the battle was already half-won. On election day proper, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted four PDP party agents with preloaded money in credit cards in Ogun State. The cards had the inscription; Caroline Foundation.

Caroline Adebutu, who died on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 83, was Ladi’s mother. Though the family is known for its vast charity works; the foundation is, however, non-existent underscoring the fact that it was established for the sole purpose of vote buying.

In a statement by Femi Babafemi, spokesman of the NDLEA, “Operatives of NDLEA on election duty stop and search, just intercepted four party agents with hundreds of money credit cards, to buy votes at Ibara housing estate, Ogun State. Each card contains 10k and is activated to cash with a code.” Babafemi stated further that the Chief Executive of NDLEA, Buba Marwa, has directed that they should be handed over to the police after proper documentation.

Regarded as a bizarre dimension to vote buying in the history of Nigerian elections, what obtained prior was cash as a means of exchange. However, the naira redesign policy, which the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, vehemently supported, stating that it would curb the incidence of vote buying, became the Achilles heel of his party in Ogun State. Like Adebutu, Atiku also lost his fifth bid for the Nigerian presidency to the APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It is in the wake of this that there is a groundswell of clamour that Adebutu and members of his party should be investigated for their involvement or otherwise in the scandal.

Adamawa Guber: Don’t Abort History, Review Results Before Re-run---Stakeholders Tell INEC

Overtime and in a consistent order, women are unrelenting in asserting themselves in the political hemisphere essentially on account of male corrosive effects on political transparency and accountability. This begun in Aba in 1955 when women outnumbered their male counterpart voters in a citywide election.

By 1961, they had increased the tempo when Margaret Ekpo won a seat to the Eastern Regional House of Assembly, a position that allowed her to fight for issues affecting women at the time.

Those flashes of efforts by Nigerian women to bridge the gap of women's under-representation in political and public life were reinforced by the 1995 Beijing Declaration which recommended Women’s equal participation in leadership.

It is perhaps, against this backdrop that legal luminary, Afe Babalola, SAN, in an article in Tribune Newspaper on July 7, 2022, frowned at the rejection of the Gender Equality Bill by the National Assembly saying the Bill was initiated to address the gender imbalance in governance.
According to the legal expert, the need to draft a constitution that will guarantee equity, fairness and justice to all Nigerians was one of the outstanding recommendations made at the National Conference which President Goodluck Jonathan called in 2014, after realizing that the current constitutional protections are not entirely effective in preventing discrimination based on sex, religion, or ethnicity.

Afe Babalola pointed out that the statistics on women’s involvement in politics in Nigeria are unsurprisingly low adding that much work still needs to be done to increase women’s opportunities for political participation.

In particular, he explained that a thorough examination of the information provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission indicates an insignificant percentage of women occupation of public office since 1999 stressing that “No woman has ever been chosen to lead a state in Nigeria as governor since 1999.”

Clearly, Afe Babalola’s submission speaks directly to the March 18 political somersaults in Adamawa State governorship election where the governor and Peoples

Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the only 2023 female governorship candidate on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Aishat Dahiru Binani, are slugging it out.

Available data indicate that in the Adamawa governorship contest, Binani is not just facing an incumbent, she is also running against religious and cultural biases that have long stood against women in contests for power in the more conservative part of Nigeria.

However and hurtfully so, are powerful individuals at the centre of the twists and turns who exist within and outside benevolent and malevolent categories, ever ready to deconstruct extant political literature.

In a pre-election review, Boboye Abba, a Yola-based public analyst said “But if not for the incumbency factor, Aisha Binani has more support than Governor Umar Fintiri across the segments and the divides in Adamawa State, because of her open-handedness.”

He added that “wherever Binani went before the presidential election, her teeming supporters always showed her love and open support. If she asked them to vote for the APC from the president down to the governor, the crowd would reply ‘No! For the president, we will vote for Atiku Abubakar but in the state, we will vote for Binani’.

“ It showed that those who voted for Atiku in the presidential election may not vote for Fintiri in the governorship election, but for Binani. Attendance at her campaign rallies was more than that of her rivals, the incumbent governor cannot pull her kind of crowd. Because Fintiri does not give out welfare despite being the serving governor, that is why people like Binani,” Mr Abba said.

This review manifested clearly and captured the pattern of victory on March 18 when the election held but finally declared “inconclusive.”

Adamawa State Collation Officer, Professor Mohammed Mele, and the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Yakubu Ari, on Monday, March 20, after collation of results from 20 out of the 21 Local Government Areas, postponed the collation saying the postponement was to enable verification of results from Fufore Local Government Area which were snatched.

In her personal narrative, Aisha Binani stated that in some locations, BVAS was bypassed and governor Ahmadu Fintiri instigated the violence. “Let INEC conducts a review of some local government areas so that it will bring out the real figures scored by each candidate. As soon as that is done, we will be home and dry and we will be confident to go back to the field for a re-run,” she demanded.

To that effect, the APC candidate has made a formal request to INEC to have a “Certify True Copy of BVAS report/result in all the local government areas in Adamawa State for the March 18 guber election to enable me to study some irregularities carried out by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.”

In a letter from her legal representative, Sam Ologunorisa & Co, dated March 23 and titled: “Application For Certified True Copy of the Bio Modal Verification Authentication System, BVAS, Used For 2023 Adamawa State Governorship,” and addressed to the National Secretary of INEC, Binani specifically singled out Madagali and Michika council areas saying “It is well known that these two local government areas are under the severe consequence of insurgency and banditry whereby a huge number of their population had relocated to Mubi, Yola and other places . Yet, results returned from these places recorded the highest number ever in the history of election in the areas,” she stated.

In the face of this logjam, Yiaga Africa, a civil society organization, has requested the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to review concerns that have been raised about the conduct of the gubernatorial polls.

Further, the civil society requests the electoral body to pay attention to complaints saying “INEC should, in line with section 64 of the 2022 electoral act, review cases where legitimate concerns have been raised on the conduct and declarations made by collation and returning officers, especially instances where results declaration contravene the electoral legal framework.

Also, a Women's group called Amazon has called on Nigerian women to rise up to the challenge in what the group describes as a deliberate attempt to deny women a governorship seat in 2023. During the week, the group gathered at Merit House, Abuja “To add our voice and demand that the right thing is done in Adamawa.”

In an unmistakable call on INEC to eliminate biases from its operations and promote confidence by attending to legitimate complaints especially from candidates who fell short changed, the European Union Election Observation Mission to Nigeria’s 2023 general elections has declared that owing to lack of transparency and operational failures, Nigerians have lost confidence and trust in INEC.

Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja to present the Mission’s second preliminary reports, the Chief Observer, Barry Andrews, noted that although Nigerians had great appetite for democracy and were keen to engage in various civic activities, their expectations were dashed as a result of the apathy recorded. The governorship elections conducted last Saturday was a clear consequence of failures by political elites and “unfortunately, INEC.”

Andrews said: “Obstruction and organized violence limited the free expression of the will of the voters, despite efforts by civil society to promote democratic standards.”

Prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Lagos and a member of APC presidential campaign council was recently given "prophetic hero of democracy award "by TNNTV CHANNEL.

The event which took place at water cress hotel, Ikeja witnessed the presentation of award to a prophet who has been so accurate and consistent with his prophecies, using it prudently to affect the Nigerian nation because the president elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a product of his prophecy.

Speaking to newsmen at the event, Mr. Akindele Seun applauded the prophet for being able to walk on the path of truth, he maintained that only few clerics will take such challenge to support the president elect and his ideologies especially the Muslim Muslim ticket which almost divided the country.

Our Mission To Rebuild Kebbi State Remains Sancrosant—Aminu Bande, PDP Guber candidate Tells Voters

Despite the inconclusiveness of the March 18 governorship election in Kebbi State, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, General Aminu Bande, ret’d, has, once again, told the people of Kebii State to vote out the All Progressives Congress, APC, saying the party has taken the State backward by liquidating her potential.

Bande who spoke Monday morning with journalists after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the State guber contest “inconclusive,” lamented the manner APC has squandered the prospects of the State on the alter of selfish and personal interest.

He explained that before the March 18 election, he had intelligent information about the planned rigging across the state.

According to him, the anti-democratic elements actually got involved in electoral malpractices, serious ballot box snatching and stuffing with ballot papers, manipulation and intimidation on March 18.

“We discovered a day before the election, a grand plan and a paper written by APC on how to manipulate the election. We got this information from our own intelligence.

So, what we did was to safeguard our votes. And we did the best we could but unfortunately, it turned this way and INEC declared the election inconclusive.

However, Bande emphasized that INEC action has further inspired him and the PDP family to ensure that Kebbi is rescued from APC.

He stressed that “Our PDP government will involve our traditional rulers and fathers in our administration and ensure they play vital roles in our overall developmental plans.

“We will revamp our institutions of learning for our young ones to develop skills and run an open administration where critical stakeholders including civil servants will have the opportunity to make inputs.”

Aminu Bande added that past administrations especially the APC have taken Kebbi State backward in great measure and in several ways.

“Our health sector will be revamped and agricultural potential re-activated. The infrastrustructural deficit in Kebbi has partly been a discouraging factor to investors and we are going to tackle that frontally," he promised

Kebbi PDP Candidate, Aminu Bande Votes, Optimistic Of victory, Urges Supporters To maintain Peace

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Kebbi State, Major General Aminu Bande ret’d, has expressed satisfaction in the on going governorship elections nationwide.

Bande who voted at his polling unit at Nasarawa Primary School, Shi, Zabarwya, Birni Kebbi at exactly 10.39 am said “With what I am seeing here, the election process is going well. If everything is like this in other places, then it is a peaceful election.,” he stated.

However, the PDP candidate noted that “Before I left my house, I had reports from several places and local government areas that there were disruptions and lots of crises. But I hope it will stabilize and normalize,” he said.

On his confidence on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Bande emphasized that he has confidence on INEC, stressing that the electoral body should follow its rules.

The guber candidate however expressed optimism of his victory in the election and urged his supporters across the length and breath of Kebbi State to maintain peace.

“The people themselves should conduct themselves well. Some desperate politicians would want to cut corner but I urge my supporters to be steadfast. They should all go out and vote. Ensure they record everything that is going on as well as wait for the votes to be accurately counted, Most importantly, they must behave themselves in the best of manner” he advised.

Similarly, AIG Bello Makwashi had an interactive session with Area Commanders and DPOs of the Command, where he directed them to exhibit a high level of neutrality, professionalism and abide by the Revised Force standard operational guidelines for Police Officers and other Law Enforcement Agents on election duty. He however warned officers to be civil, apolitical and mindful of their conduct in conformity with the Human rights of the peace loving people of kebbi State.
In the same vein, the Commissioner of Police on election duty, kebbi State Commamd, CP Lawal Abubakar, has directed the Area Commanders and DPOs to ensure adequate security coverage of all the polling units and collation centers in the State by deploying police and other security personnel with a view to prevent thuggery and other electoral offenses.
CP Abubakar, who directed officers to ensure strict restriction of vehicular movement from 12am-6pm on election day towards having a hitch free electoral process, called on the parents and guardians to warn their children and wards not to engage in any form of violence, political thuggery or attempt to snatch ballot boxes, as the Command in collaboration with other security agencies are ready to deal decisively with such anti democratic behaviour.
“The restriction of movement of persons and vehicles will commence from 12 am to 6 pm of Saturday, 18th March, 2023, with the exception of essential services such as INEC Officials, electoral observers, ambulances responding to medical emergencies, firefighters, among others.
Similarly, security aides and escorts to V. I. Ps are also barred from accompanying their principals to the polling booths and collation centres during the elections, as anyone found disobeying this order will be severely sanctioned.
The ban on the unauthourised use of sirens, revolving lights, covered number plates and tinted glasses is still in force, and violators will be arrested and prosecuted appropriately,” Kebbi Police Command warned.

Governorship Election: Kebbi Looks Good For PDP—Dr Abubakar Alkalii

After the nationwide Presidential and National Assembly elections, attention is now shifted to the statewide Guber and state houses of assembly elections which promises to be another possible switch from the conventional nay traditional pattern of elections in Nigeria. There is the likelihood of surprises in some states, particularly in the South-East and the South-South including some parts of the middle belt owing to the Obi tsunami sweeping across mainly the southern and North central parts of the country.

The two main political parties, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may not have a smooth sail in some of the states under their control owing largely to the tsunami of the Labour Party in the SE and SS and parts of the North-central. From all indications, there is largely going to be a change of guard party-wise in many states including the North West and North -East although the power of incumbency will still play out in some states.

This Saturday, Gubernatorial elections are expected to hold in 28 out of the 36 states.

The states where the Guber elections will hold this Saturday are as follows:
Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara.

17 state governors have completed their second terms and will not be seeking re-election.
These states are Sokoto, Kebbi, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Kano, Benue, Niger, Plateau, Taraba, Cross Rivers, Rivers, Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Ekiti, Delta.

The 11 states where Governors are seeking re-election: Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Yobe, Zamfara, Kwara, Nassarawa, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo.

The 8 ‘off-season’ states where Guber elections will not be this Saturday are:
Anambra, Bayelsa, Edo, Ekiti, Imo, Kogi, Osun, and Ondo

Likely outcome

Below is a state-by-state analysis of the likely outcome of the Guber elections this Saturday.

ABIA- The Labour Party is almost certainly winning this state by a wide margin. This will be part of the Obi tsunami sweeping across the SE and SS geopolitical zone and part of the North-central. The ruling PDP in the state will come a distant second.

ADAMAWA-The APC is fielding the first female Guber candidate in the state Sen Binani. Although she had made history, Sen Aishatu Binani will not be able to overcome the ‘men’ in the PDP. The PDP will win Adamawa but Sen Binani will almost certainly be involved in the incoming Tinubu administration as a minister and member of the federal executive council or something close to that. The PDP will retain this state by a reasonable margin.

AKWA IBOM- Despite the Obi tsunami sweeping across the SE and SS, the PDP will retain this state but Labour will come a close second.

BAUCHI- The PDP will win this state albeit it faces stiff opposition from the APC. If the APC can strike a realistic deal with the NNPP, it may make a better showing but the PDP will win it regardless.

BENUE- The Obedient Labour Party is on the rise in this state but the APC will win it. The APC has the advantage of fielding a very popular and charismatic candidate Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia. The influence of the kingmaker Sen George Akume will come into play here. However, if the PDP can negotiate a workable alliance with Labour, it may cause more problems for the APC.

BORNO: This is a classical APC territory. With the popularity of Governor Zulum and VP - elect Kashim Shettima, it will be a straightforward victory for the APC.

CROSS RIVERS- This state is controlled by the APC after governor Ben Ayade made a bold political suicide of decamping to the APC knowing full well that the state is traditionally PDP. The governor may have thought that he can use his influence as governor to build the APC in the state but this doesn’t appear to be the case. The APC and PDP will divide their votes thus allowing the Labour Party to sneak in and win the state. The state will fall to the Obidients.

DELTA: The Labour Party will win this state and the PDP will come a close second. Obi tsunami is fully grounded in this state and even the go-getter APC candidate DSP Omo-Agege cannot stop the Obidients

EBONYI: The ruling APC will likely lose this state to Labour Party by a wide margin. The Obi tsunami will sweep through Ebonyi with ease.

ENUGU- The Labour Party will easily win this state with PDP coming a distant second. The dark horse Guber candidate of the Labour Party in Enugu state is already banking on his luck

GOMBE: The PDP won the Presidential election convincingly in this state owing to a mix of anti-party activities by some APC leaders and the growing unpopularity of the current governor Inuwa. The PDP will likely have a smooth sale and win the state but it will be a tight race.

JIGAWA: A supposed APC territory although the PDP has a very good ground as well. The only stumbling block to APC’s victory is if the PDP can work out an alliance with the NNPP. This seems too late to happen though.

KADUNA- This state is a test case of Nigeria and a clear example of what happened during the Presidential election where the Labour Party ate into PDP’s votes to deny the PDP victory and allow the APC to sneak in and smile home. If the Labour Party contests the election, the APC will likely win the state because Labour will eat up PDP’s votes in Southern Kaduna. On the other hand, if the Labour Party candidate withdraws or goes into an alliance with the PDP, the APC will be out of Sir Kashim Ibrahim's house in a jiffy. The PDP has a good chance to win the state.

KANO: The NNPP is on a smooth sail in Kano and will almost certainly clinch victory this Saturday while the APC will come a distant second. Even an alliance between the APC and PDP cannot stop Kwankwaso’s NNPP from winning the state. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Guber candidate of the NNPP is not far from it when he said Governor Ganduje should start preparing his handover notes.

KATSINA: The current level of insecurity will make the APC lose the state to the PDP. The people of Katsina state feel that the State Government under Aminu Masari is not doing enough to fight insecurity in the state. Bandits are calling the shots and holding innocent villagers to ransom in many villages of katsina state. Recall that Governor Aminu Masari had almost given up on insecurity and surrendered to the bandits when he flatly told the people of Kstsuna state to ‘protect yourselves against the bandits. If you cannot afford a gun, use a catapult.
The PDP will win this state in s very tight race. An alliance between the APC and NNPP could be the game changer for the APC.

KEBBI- There is almost an indescribable resentment against the APC government led by Atiku Bagudu hence it is almost a fait accompli that the PDP will win this state. The people felt Governor Bagudu didn’t deliver the dividend of democracy to them throughout his tenure, not even close.
The PDP won the Presidential election in the state with a reasonable margin of almost 40,000 votes.

KWARA- This is another APC territory. The party had cemented its impending victory this Saturday by consuming some of the smaller parties in the state such as Labour and NNPP under an alliance of inconvenience.

LAGOS: The die is cast here and you can literally feel the tension in Lagos from Abuja. Clearly it is advantage APC over Labour because most of the Obidients may not bother in the Guber election than they did in the Presidential. The towering stature of Peter Obi seems to be the factor rather than the ideology of the Labour Party. 9 out of 10, Obidients voted for Peter Obi not really the Labour Party. This could be linked to the man’s seeming innocent look, charisma on one hand and ethnicity and religion on the other. So the Obidients in Lagos may not have the taste to come out emmasse to vote, climb the skies and ‘push it’ for the Labour Party candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour against incumbent Governor Sanwo-Olu as they did on February 25th for Peter Obi against Asiwaju Tinubu.
The APC also has the power of incumbency to go with. On the other hand, if the Labour Party can strike an alliance with the PDP (which is highly unlikely), it could change the game. Additionally, the President-elect Asiwaju Tinubu will want to deliver his state as it will help his focus to deliver good governance at the national level devoid of distractions from his home state.

NASSARAWA: This is a straight battle between the APC and Labour. The PDP could be the kingmaker. Any of the top two that can get the PDP into an alliance will win the election. APC could win it with the help of the incumbency factor.

NIGER- The APC will win this state with a slim margin over the PDP. Labour could change the game in PDP’s favour if it goes into an alliance with the PDP.

OGUN- A traditional APC territory. The APC will win it by a reasonable margin over the PDP.

OYO- The APC won the Presidential election in this state because Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on the ballot. It will be different in the Guber election where the PDP is likely going to retain the state.

PLATEAU- The only factor stopping the Labour Party from winning this election is an alliance between the APC and the PDP which is highly unlikely. The time is up for the APC in this state as the Obi tsunami is likely going to come to play here.

RIVERS- The APC won the Presidential election in this state but the story will change in the Guber election as Governor Wike will deploy his arsenal to ensure victory for his party, the PDP. The Labour Party has an outside chance in this state.

SOKOTO- This is going to be interesting because the growing resentment of the people of Sokoto state against the Aminu Tambuwal administration will come to play. The people of Sokoto state feel that the Tambuwal administration has not delivered the dividends of democracy to them throughout the 8 years it held sway. Also, the huge grassroots support enjoyed by Sen Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, the APC leader in the state may win it for the APC. Clearly the Tambuwal administration has not connected with the people in the state hence the PDP in the state will struggle this Saturday. The APC will win Sokoto state this Saturday but it will be close as the PDP looks desperate and will maximally use its power of incumbency.

TARABA- You can always expect a PDP victory in Taraba state no matter the odds. The Labour Party will come second.

YOBE- The PDP won the Presidential election in this state but that may change in the Guber election. It is fair to say though, that without the incumbency factor, the state could slip into the hands of the PDP. Indeed an upgrade of political consciousness is apparent in Yobe state. The APC will win it.

ZAMFARA- There is some sort of desperation by the APC to retain power in this state despite the growing unpopularity of the Bello Matawalle administration. The APC administration resorted to scare-mongering to win the Presidential election in the state but that will change this Saturday as the people feel that the state Governor is not doing enough to deal with the very high insecurity in the state just as some feel that he (Governor Matawalle) has a soft spot for the bandits who are on a mission to destroy Zamfara state and are continuously killing many innocent indigenes of the state. The lackadaisical attitude of the Matawalle administration towards tackling banditry in the state has led to the state being dubbed ‘capital of banditry in Nigeria. The people of Zamfara state are obviously not happy and would want to send a very strong and clear message this Saturday.
It will be very close but the PDP will win the state.

According to a release by the campaign team signed by the Director General, Alhaji Shehu Abdillahi, the PDP said “Reports from reliable intelligence sources indicate that some undemocratic elements have hatched a plot to rig the 2023 guber and state assembly election slated for Saturday, March 18, 2023.

The statement disclosed that “The sinister plans include adding voter’s numbers without accreditation, delay of BVAS to function slowly, disruption of polling units perceived to be PDP stronghold among others.

“The arrangement is to cause massive cancellation of polling units that have significant support for the PDP and reduce the number of PDP voters statewide.

The statement identified local government areas designated for this purpose are Gwnadu, Bagundu, Jeja, Maiyama, Bunza, Sakabe, Fakai, Zuru and aREwa, Koko -Besse, Argungu, Shanga, Suru, Yauri, Ngaski, Dandi.

The Bande campaign team, therefore, called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to investigate this plot and ensure that the undemocratic elements do not carry out the plot saying “In the light of this, it is pertinent to investigate this unholy arrangement with a view to take appropriate action to curtail it in earnest,” the statement warned.

Meanwhile, available information further indicates that the PDP candidate, Aminu Bande who is well-loved by the people has called on his supporters to avoid trouble but be meticulous in checkmating all the anti-democratic plots, assuring that PDP will win the election.

Wiseman Daniel’s Shocking Prophecy About The Tragic Event In Malawi ( Video)

Of a truth, when God speaks, the wise listen, and truly God does nothing without revealing it to his servants. Wiseman Daniel surely carried the unusual prophetic mantle from the late Prophet T.B. Joshua as one of his prophecies has been confirmed accurately again.

The current tragedy beguiling the nation of Malawi was first predicted by Wiseman Daniel. It is on record that the vision of this recent event that befell Malawi was first revealed by God through Wiseman Daniel on the 18th of July, 2021. He accurately predicted the raging storm that will happen and its adverse effect on the people.

Also on the 26th of September, 202, during the prayer meeting for All Nations, God repeated the message of prophecy through Wiseman Daniel about the Nation of Malawi for the second time as a warning about the impending danger of the wind and storm and the way out.

Also towards the year 2022, Wiseman Daniel gave the third prophetic warning as a reminder to the people of Malawi. But sadly, his voice was ignored.

It would be recalled that More than 250 people are now confirmed dead in Malawi after Tropical Storm Freddy ripped through southern Africa for the second time in a month.

Huge amounts of brown water have cascaded through neighborhoods, sweeping away homes.
Malawi's commercial hub, Blantyre, has recorded most of the deaths, including dozens of children.

Aid agencies are warning that the devastation will exacerbate a cholera outbreak in Malawi.
The government has declared a state of disaster in 10 southern districts that have been hardest hit by the storm.
Rescue workers are overwhelmed, and are using shovels to try to find survivors buried in mud.
"We have rivers overflowing, we have people being carried away by running waters, we have buildings collapsing," police spokesman Peter Kalaya told the BBC.

In Kebbi, We Need Security And Aminu Bande Is The Answer---Party Chieftain

As the D-Day draws closer for the March 18 governorship elections across 28 States in Nigeria, a chieftain of one of the political parties in Kebbi has picked Aminu Bande as the man who the cap fits to re engineer security of life and property.

Mr Aminu Bande, a retired major general of the Nigerian Army, is the governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State.

Speaking to select journalists at Abuja airport Wednesday afternoon, the party chieftain who pleaded for anonymity being that he is a state chairman of his party with State Assembly candidates, explained that what Kebbi needs at the moment is a man who understands the security loopholes in Kebbi.

He noted that that Aminu Bande who had served as the General Officer Command, GOC, Nigerian Army 8 Division, Sokoto State, a neighbouring State to Kebbi, has the intelligence, understanding, research knowledge and capacity to provide the needed security in the State.

“We live in fears. Farmers cannot go to farms. Businesses are closing up because of insurgency. We need to be alive to enjoy other things in life. Therefore, security is very important to us and Bande can provide it,” he emphasized.

Speaking recently, Aminu Bande urged Kebbi voters to trust him with their votes saying “I have the capacity, going by my training to bring security to Kebbi state. My people in Kebbi, I promise to be fair to all groups in Kebbi, I will provide the needed fertiliser before the rainy season at a subsidised price if elected governor in this election,” he promised, among other things.

It would be recalled that recent reports indicate that the increasing cases of insecurity in Chonoko community in Kebbi state, has contributed immensely to the abrupt decline in professional healthy care delivery, education services and other humanitarian interventions in the states.

“Farmers in some surrounding villages have resorted to paying levies to the bandits in order to gain access to their agricultural fields and conduct farming activities. Nevertheless, agricultural activities have reduced drastically thereby leading to corresponding increase in food crisis

“Most of the schools in Kebbi villages are closed down due to fear of bandit attacks, thus affecting educational sector in that area

“Healthcare system delivery is being dragged to the mud as the General Hospital was forced to offer skeletal services.

“Chonoko town is suffering from lack of potable water supply as investigation showed that the IDPs and the residents battle to get water for domestic purposes from the only two available boreholes present within the community. In fact, people used to spend the night queueing in order to get water for their daily needs.

“The over 10, 000 Chonoko IDPs are living under hardships as they lack basic necessities of life. These include but not limited to adequate food, shelter, medications, clothes, detergents and other vital household items necessary for living a good life,” the reports revealed.

One of the seasoned prophets in Celestial Church, Oladapo Kingsley Aitafo of Oneness In Christ is indeed an authentic mouthpiece from God. And it’s not unconnected to the precise confirmation of his consistent prophecy concerning the emergence of Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the president elect in the 2023 presidential election.

When alot of fathers of faith were against the candidacy of Tinubu he Insisted that what God told him is difefrent from theirs. Hia prophecy started In May 5th,2021when he predicted that Ahmed Tinubu will win the APC presidential primaries but a yoruba man from Ogun State will betray him. However, he will receive help from the Northen allies.

“And for a presidential candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu, he should be very strong, Karma will fight his health seriously, but there is a staff of authority upon his forehead, I don’t know the man of God that he has helped that put that seal upon him but he will be highly betrayed by his fellows and allies, the Northern part of Nigeria will back him and stand by him, and a Yoruba man from Ogun State will seriously stand against him, but because of that seal of authority on his forehead, he will prevail, but pls note that he is going to have serious health challenges. He should continue to pray for forgiveness and ask God to let him see that throne so that it won’t end up the M.K.O Abiola’s way.”

The clergy with the prophetic mantle and Abuja-based General Overseer of Royal Champions Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla in 2021 said the 2023 election will be a year of mystery and that only God can stop Tinubu's presidential ambition.

Also in 2022 and 2023 he revealed that there will be a win and gain here and a loss there and that concerning the presidential election, he sees the most criticized and hated candidate emerging winner under the permissive will of God.

Interestingly, even when most major religious leaders were prophesying something else, he stuck to his revelation that Tinubu is the major factor in the equation of things in the 2023 election.

It would be recalled that the clergyman during his prophetic release for 2022 said God told him Tinubu would be a great factor in the forthcoming 2023 election. "God said something to me that is very deep. The man called Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a factor in the equation and you can not remove him and you cannot push him aside. You cannot drive him backward or push him aside, except God pull him out of the equation. You cannot remove him by human means. If you push him aside, you will know that a factor has been removed from the equation, the only thing that can move him is God. Only God stops him. I'm not speaking in favor of anybody but I'm saying what I've seen and will leave the rest for God," Prophet Iginla said.

And of a truth, the road to Victory for Tinubu in the just concluded 2023 election was tarred with twists and turns. It was a journey filled with betrayals from loyalists. At a point, his Victory looks like a mirage but the clergy's message keeps resounding clearly that Tinubu is the major factor in the equation.

The Independent National Electoral Commission Chairman and Chief Returning Officer, Professor Mahmood Yakubu at 2:30am Wednesday, declared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of Saturday’s Presidential election.

Tinubu was declared the winner of the election on Wednesday morning, after the completion of the collation and announcement of results from across Nigeria, which started at the national collation centre in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Sunday and ended in the early hours of Wednesday, March 1.

Yakubu said that Tinubu scored 8,794,726; Atiku Abubakar (Peoples Democratic Party) received 6,984,520 votes; Peter Obi (Labour Party) secured 6, 101, 533 while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the (New Nigerian Peoples Party) scored 1,496,687.

Tinubu edged Atiku, a former vice president and his closest challenger, with no fewer than 1.8 million votes.

Professor Yakubu went on to declare the APC candidate as the winner of the presidential election and was returned elected “having satisfied the requirements of the law and scoring the highest numbers of votes”.

Recall, Nigeria’s main opposition parties had called for the country’s presidential election to be scrapped, alleging that the process had been manipulated.

The opposition parties led by PDP hinged their action on what they described as connivance between the APC and the INEC to rig the presidential election. The protesting parties had demanded that the electoral umpire uploaded the polling units results into the INEC Results Viewing Portal (IReV) to authenticate the presented results.

Without doubt, Tinubu's emergence as a democratically elected Nigeria's next President from May 29, 2023, has further re enacted Prophet Iginla as a man of God horned with divine and indisputable prophetic gift.

The Lord said that the Senate President is about to carry out an evil act concerning the presidency. The Lord said to me that everything that has been happening is a result of the Senate President and everyone must pray against the Senate President and his evil schemes. Quoting from the scripture, the Book of (Act 10 vs 34 - 35), The bible says "I perceive that God is not a respecter of persons and he that fears God and works in righteousness shall God accept". Ahmed Lawal does not fear God and he is about to carry an unusual act. He wants to cut corners of the presidency. Prayers should be made for his wicked plans to be canceled.

Bishop Desmond who is a prophet to nations added that the presidential candidate for Labour Party Peter Obi will win the presidency but that will be a court case and he foresees him being sworn in around September 2023. “We should pray against his delayed presidency. I am the first preacher that came out and said that the next President of Nigeria will be from Southerners. We should endeavor to pray. We must also know that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for PDP will not win this presidency and it is not the time for PDP to rule as president, I will tell you when PDP will come to power but not this time. NNPP will not win. It is time for a southern President and that person is Peter Obi. The question is how will he win? But I see him getting his mandate from the court"

In a nutshell, the Man of God opined that "The next President is from Southerner and we have two Southern candidates and one is APC candidate Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and other is Peter Obi of Labour Party while in North we have Atiku Abubakar though he didn't deserve it. I am a prolific prophet and I am saying the fact. Atiku Abubakar will not win and if you are a pastor campaigning for PDP you are wasting your time. If PDP will ever come to power it will be a candidate that wears a suit. The person who will deliver PDP is a corporate man, not even now. Rabiu Kwankwaso will not win; that is certain, Peter Obi will win, and we should pray for a landslide victory, not from the court. They might not give him directly but will recover his mandate in court.

Peter Obi will not be declared the winner on Wednesday but INEC will declare Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu the winner of the election which will cause lots of rioting in the country. There will be massive protests. The youth will protest telling Peter Obi to go to court. It is in the court that Peter Obi will be declared the winner by the President of Nigeria. "I saw Peter Obi giving a speech as president Not in May 29th, 2023 but around September 2023.

A northerner will never rule nigeria again. Buhari did his worst and the Lord told me that. Peter Obi will do 8 years and a Southerner will succeed him and this will cause a problem but the North will be humbled. Take this from me ." He also revealed that the Oyo state governor will struggle to retain his seat as Governor.

Bishop Desmond Osazuwa Amasihohu made several prophecies that come to pass among which is that Peter Obi will win the Imo state presidential election which came to pass. He has over the years reached out to people and has been known to be a firebrand pastor who fears nobody and calls a spade a spade. He has added value to the lives of people he encountered.

Why Court Sentenced Fidelity Bank MD, Secretary to Six Weeks imprisonment

Interestingly, a chief magistrate’s court in Ogba, Lagos, has sentenced Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, to six weeks in prison.

The court presided over by Magistrate Lateef Owolabi, extended the same sentence to Ezinwa Unuigboje, the bank’s secretary, after finding both guilty of disobeying a garnishee order of court restraining the bank from allowing a judgment debtor access to his account.

We learned that on December 6, 2022, Owolabi had issued the garnishee order for 17 banks not to grant Enabulele Ozaze, a judgment debtor, access to his bank accounts until he paid a judgment debt of N2.8 million.

Ozaze was on October 13, 2022, ordered to refund one Jibrin Ahmed the sum of N2.8 million. This sum was money Ahmed had earlier paid to Ozaze for the purchase of a Toyota Corolla car.

Two months after Ozaze failed to refund, Owolabi ordered 16 banks not to allow him to transact on any account.

On January 25, 2023, Ahmed told the court, via an affidavit, that Fidelity Bank had flouted the garnishee order.

He showed the court how Ozaze had been withdrawing funds from his account. He claimed that Ozaze had N3,165,759.05k in his account with Fidelity Bank as of January 12, 2023, when the garnishee order was served.

Three days after the order was served, Ozaze withdrew N725,547.80k from the account. The following day, he transferred another N251,305.90 out of the bank.

On January 17, Obianuju Nwosu, Fidelity Bank’s legal officer, confirmed they received the garnishee order on December 22, 2022, and apologised to the court for the transactions on the account.
On January 18, the court ordered that the managing director and the bank’s secretary to appear before it to explain why they should not be sentenced to prison.

Both were absent on Monday. Owolabi ordered their immediate remand and instructed the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to effect their arrest.

The APC Wine Sponsors are Enemies of Tinubu & Buhari - Labinjo

The Chairman of APC-USA who is also the Chairman of the Committee of Diaspora Chairmen, Professor Adesegun Labinjo has disassociated himself and the authentic APC Diaspora chairmen and members from the so-called APC wines which were circulated in the social media.

In a statement issued in New York, Professor Labinjo said that one Tunde Doherty was the brain behind the APC wines to discredit the APC presidential ticket of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima and the character of President Mohammed Buhari. Professor Labinjo alleged that Tunde Doherty and his discredited group including Steve Tella, Elas Abone, Lawal Ayoola, Tai Balofin, Philip Ideawor, and others are working against the election of Asiwaju Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Professor Labinjo said that there has been an allegation that Tunde Doherty and his group are being used by enemies of Asiwaju Tinubu to discredit the candidate in the North.

“These characters know that alcohol is resented in the Northern part of the country, hence they knowingly planned these APC-labeled wines to discredit and defame Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima in the eyes and in the estimation of the voters, especially in the Northern part of Nigeria”. Professor Labinjo said that President Buhari, Asiwaju Tinubu and Senator Shettima are good Muslims who do not subscribe to alcohol use and abuse. “President Buhari is very sensitive to the hardships Nigerians are facing and he is doing his best to deliver better lives for them”. Professor Labinjo said that Asiwaju Tinubu and Senator Shettima would work hard for the Nigerian people and deliver on their promises of renewed hope in terms of a good economy, improved security, and reforming the government to reduce corruption to the barest minimum.

Professor Labinjo called on the APC Secretariat in Abuja to immediately disclaim these political miscreants and rats from using the name of the APC and the name of APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (APC-CDC) to cause further harm to our presidential ticket and to the party. Professor Labinjo warned the public against scammers and rats who are parading themselves as APC chairmen in the Diaspora. Professor Labinjo said that Mr. Tunde Doherty is not the Chairman of APC-UK nor the Chairman of the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen. The interim Chairman of APC-UK, recognized by the APC Secretariat in Abuja, is Barrister Joseph K. Adebola. Professor Labinjo also said that one Elas Abone, one Tai Balofin, and one Lawal Ayoola are not even members of APC at any level. He said that one Tai Balofin, at every election season, would form a bogus support group purporting to support a candidate for his pecuniary interest. He further said that Mr. Elas Abone is a Peter Obi supporter and Mr. Lawal Ayoola is currently a candidate of PRP for the House of Representatives in Lagos State. Professor Labinjo said that these are among the people behind the so-called APC wines allegedly sponsored by APCCDC. “These people are not representing APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen or their respective Diaspora APC chapters. They are working for the enemies of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to discredit him and Senator Shettima among the voters”, Professor Labinjo stated.

Professor Labinjo urged Nigerians to disregard the APC labeled wines as nonsense from Tinubu’s enemies to distract and discredit him and the APC before the presidential election. He urged Nigerians to troop out in large numbers to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima on Saturday, February 25th as the President and Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

How Pro. Kingsley Aitafo Prophesied Turkey and Syria Earthquake

Interestingly, Prophet Kingsley Aitafo Oladapo is in the news again. And this is not unconnected to the fact that one of his prophecies has come to pass.

Months back, Prophet Kingsley gave a prophetic warning about Syria and Turkey. He said the most shocking thing is to let us pray against a global disaster that will happen in a part of the world that will shake the world.

And sadly, just as he warned, a huge earthquake killed more than 2,400 people across a swathe of Turkey and northwest Syria on Monday, with freezing winter weather adding to the plight of the many thousands left injured or homeless and hampering efforts to find survivors.
The magnitude 7.8 quake brought down whole apartment blocks in Turkish cities and piled more devastation on millions of Syrians displaced by years of war.
The worst tremor to strike Turkey this century, it came before sunrise in harsh weather and was followed in the early afternoon by another large quake of magnitude 7.7.

"It was like the apocalypse," said Abdul Salam al-Mahmoud, a Syrian in the northern town of Atareb. "It's bitterly cold and there's heavy rain, and people need saving."
The second quake was big enough to bring down more buildings and, like the first, was felt across the region, endangering rescuers struggling to pull casualties from the rubble.
In Diyarbakir in southeast Turkey, a woman speaking next to the wreckage of the seven-storey block where she lived said: "We were shaken like a cradle. There were nine of us at home. Two sons of mine are still in the rubble, I'm waiting for them."

She was nursing a broken arm and had injuries to her face.
The earthquake was the biggest quake recorded worldwide by the U.S. Geological survey since a tremor in the remote South Atlantic in August 2021.

In Turkey, the death toll stood at 1,541, Vice President Fuat Oktay said. At least 928 people were killed in Syria, according to figures from the Damascus government and rescue workers in the northwestern region controlled by insurgents.
Poor internet connections and damaged roads between some of the worst-hit cities in Turkey's south, homes to millions of people, hindered efforts to assess and address the impact.
Temperatures in some areas were expected to fall to near freezing overnight, worsening conditions for people trapped under rubble or left homeless. Rain was falling on Monday after snowstorms swept the country at the weekend.
It is already the highest death toll from an earthquake in Turkey since 1999, when a tremor of similar magnitude devastated the heavily populated eastern Marmara Sea region near Istanbul, killing more than 17,000.
President Tayyip Erdogan, who is preparing for a tough election in May, called it a historic disaster and the worst earthquake to hit Turkey since 1939, but said authorities were doing all they could.
In Syria, already wrecked by more than 11 years of civil war, the health ministry said 538 people had been killed and more than 1,326 injured. In the Syrian rebel-held northwest, emergency workers said 390 people had died.

Grace Nation: God is not Rich, Wealthy nor Poor, but own Everything on Earth including Human Beings - Dr Chris Okafor

* Unfortunately today, what is called Honour has died in the Church....okafor

In the absence of Honour people will suffer, where there's no culture of Honour people will not prosper, and when you don't understand the Process of Honour, you can be in a place of plenty and remain stranded and poor for Life.

These and more are part of the teaching of the Lead Pastor of Grace Nation International aka Liberation city Dr Chris Okafor at the Sunday convenant day of wealth Transfer on 5th February 2023,at the International Headquarters of the church in Ojodu Berger Lagos Nigeria.

Teaching on the Topic "The Misery of First Fruit" taking from the Scripture Proverb 3:9,10, the Generational prophet of God Dr Chris Okafor emphasised that God says those that Honour me, he will Honour but those that dispersed him, they will suffer, unfortunately today in the church what is refer to Honour in the vineyard is dead, the Man of God continue that the kingdom of heaven is a misery, it takes misery to demystified the Misery, therefore when you are knowledgeable to understand this misery, everything becomes good to you, it takes man of integrity to understand the misery behind the first fruit sacrifice, when you obey the instructions of first fruit everything you do throughout the remaining months and days of the year become a plus to your breakthrough and Success throughout the year.

The Generational prophet of God as he is fondly called Dr Chris Okafor Also remarked that God is the source of everything on this earth, everything belongs to him, so if there is anyone we must not play with is Almighty God, He is not Rich, nor Poor but everything on this earth Belong to him. If he directed that you must bring your first fruit to the vineyard, he know why he has given this instructions, if you Honour your God with your sustain, it trigger God to do more for you because he owns everything.

Earlier at the realms of Prophetic, God uses his Servant, the Generational prophet of God Dr Chris Okafor in a new dimensions, he was seen doing what he know how to do best, mentioning people's name accurate, describing roads to people's House in the village, exposing the acclaimed strong man behind people's predicament, He also exposes evil altars and the one serving them, depopulating the kingdom of darkness therefore making the kingdom of God Popular.

Miracle Babies were given to expectant mothers, while bloodline diseases and inherited battles give way. Also lawful captive were set free.

The Generational prophet of God Dr Chris Okafor also used the occasion to pray for the nation and for a successful General Election in Nigeria, as the man of God charges Nigerians to vote there conscience because that alone will guarantee a better Nation for all in the next 8 years, let's all Nigerian go out enmass come 25 February 2023 to vote for a leader that will bring back Nigeria lost Glory as the Giant of Africa, Dr Okafor remarked

Those Against Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, The APC Presidential Candidate Are Not In The Villa- Buratai

The immediate past Ambassador to the Republic of Benin and former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai has called for unity among party members in the All Progressives Congress, APC so that the party would win the February 25 presidential election convincingly.

Buratai explained that President Muhammadu Buhari has done his best for the country and the party and should therefore be supported to deliver victory to the party instead of the ongoing distractions.

He noted through a piece he personally signed that "Those really against the emergence of the APC presidential candidate are not in the Villa but are forces both internal and external," the highly rated intelligent former Army boss stated.

The full statement reads:

These are times of high political activities that give rise to tension and suspicions within and without political parties. This calls for restraint, understanding and calm in all political utterances. Party unity and trust must be the watchword.

Those really against the emergence of the APC Presidential Candidate are not in the Villa but are forces both internal and external. It was initiated externally and being orchestrated or being clandestinely pursued in collaboration with some unsuspecting internal elements.

There should be total trust of the APC Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to deliver the next administration under APC Government. There should be party unity to forge a common front to maintain the lead in the current campaign mobilisation of Nigerians in order to win all the elections especially the Presidential election on 25 February 2023.

The APC under President Muhammadu Buhari has already worked hard for the nation and has rescued the country from being a failed state in 2015. Therefore, irrespective of fuel scarcity, currency colouring or scheming against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC will win the 2023 elections by the Grace of God.

Christianity EtcMfm Wins Rare Victory Over The Uk Charity Commission As Tribunal Quashes Its Ord by Hunter2009(op):
MFM WINS RARE VICTORY OVER THE UK CHARITY COMMISSION AS TRIBUNAL QUASHES ITS ORDER CONSTITUTING THE INTERIM MANAGER AS SOLE ADMINISTRATOR OF MFM (UK)

On 21st September 2021, the Charity Commission notified the trustees of the MFM UK that it had reviewed the Initial Order under which the Interim Manager was appointed to continue the said appointment whilst varying the terms of the Initial Order to permit the Interim Manager to manage the Charity.
to the exclusion of the trustees of the Charity. (The order as so varied is referred to as the “2021 Order”).

This 2021 Order, like its predecessor appointing the Interim Manager, provided canon fodder for further unbridled criticism and vicious maligning of MFM and its General Overseer in the social media, championed by Sahara Reporters and one Maureen Badejo, a British based Vlogger.

On 28th September 2021, the trustees of the Charity submitted an appeal against the
decision of the Charity Commission to issue the 2021 Order. The trustees of the
Charity set out the grounds of their appeal under three headings: -
- the actions of the Respondent and his agents were generally unlawful
- the operations and actions of the Interim Manager/Respondent were
procedurally unfair; and
- the decisions of the Interim Manager/Respondent were generally irrational.

The notice of appeal submitted by the trustees of the Charity (referred to as the
“Appellant” in the decision) set out in some detail the grounds on which this appeal was being brought. The Appellant stated that the outcomes that the trustees were
seeking from the appeal were as follows: Firstly, that the 2021 Order should be set aside.

Ruling on the appeal, the 3-member Tribunal unanimously quashed those parts of the 2021 Order, including the Schedule, that appointed the Interim Manager to the exclusion of the Trustees.

The Tribunal directed the Charity Commission to permit the trustees of the MFM (UK) to remain in office with such powers and responsibilities as are necessary or useful to enable them to work with the Interim Manager in amending the constitution of the Charity and in implementing and
operating effective systems and controls across the whole of the Charity.

By this decision, the Tribunal effectively stripped the Interim Manager of the powers of a sole administrator of the charity to the exclusion of its
trustees and is therefore tantamount to a return to the status quo, where the Interim Manager continues to work hand in glove with the trustees.

The hearing lasted two days. 29/09/2022 and 03/11/2022.

As at the time of going to press, the Solicitor acting for MFM, Mr Tayo Arowojolu of Freeman Solicitors in London could not be reached for comments.

Election 2023! We are not collapsing our structures for any party.-Bishop Idahosa clears the air

The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) one of the core parties that have been making waves in Nigeria by engaging people from ward level to national level have come out and made it clear that they are not collapsing their structure for any political party. This position was made known by Bishop Isaac Idahosa who is the running mate to Kwankwaso during a media chat with journalists at the ARISE TV.

When asked about their openness to partnership with other parties, Idahosa said “well, it is not that we aren’t open to social partnership for those that will want to play second fiddle. We are open to that. We are the big deal and party to beat. We are more than able to go into this race and we are the party to bit in this party. Our doors are open but for those that want to be second fiddle and we are going into this race with the mindset and Intention to win. Collapsing our structures for any party is an insult, disgusting and treacherous to us.

He added that “We have been able to pass the message which is biting the country and revamping the economy and having empathy to the downtrodden. This isn’t the time to give up and we are getting stronger by the day. We have so much to give. So fielding unfounded rumours are economical to the truth. We have strength in education and infrastructure. Our principal has done it before in the area of infrastructure and education. He united Kano state.

”The clergy queried people peddling fake news and speculating fake news of collapse structure is unfounded rather than focusing on their campaign strategies and this is unacceptable by them, in his words he added that “Why can’t people keep by the single rule by pursuing peace. Our principal is healthy, we go from ward to ward and we are the big deal. Our doors are open to others. They can come in and we are talking with some members of PDP that want to join us.

”He emphasised that they are open to talk but will not play second fiddle and the talks will be based on how to move the nation forward. “I just told you that 13 PCC Council Members of PDP were with us in Abuja to support us and join forces with us. When i told you that our doors are opened to others, i meant it. We are open to transparency, justice, equity and fairness. A country that will observe the rule of law to the letter. My principal has done these before and we are good enough to keep our words. When you know what you want to do, you don’t need to go the other way which is psychological complexities”, Idahosa concluded.
