RayRay06677: According to Pa Emma, rule number two, never exceed your income, never. 300 Heineken and 2000 Heineken na same alcoholic content. G wagon and Camry go reach V.I. from mainland almost same time except you are competing but for me, I only compete with my self. I set targets and pamper myself only when I cross a benchmark for "selah" the next phase. Just like 2019 and this year. I wasn't working when I built house from gifts and scalar hustling. Principle was saving 50% of whatever came my way blow the rest in a manner that kills the cravings so I can bullshit the cravings if it rear its head again. When I started building, I had less than 2m but before I finished, I had excess because people were impressed I even thought of building rather than buying the popular Benz 190 back then. Same way I am supporting two of my civil servant friends that are currently building, one is moving in next month. Una sabi burst my brain for this thread Person gats sabi dey prudent They're selling 3500 fish for 15K at VI.. And the one at VI is smaller than the one in Surulere Shey na ambience i wan chop ni or food? Meanwhile you can also buy the same fish yourself at Aguda market and prepare it for a fraction of the cost |

It's not enough for SEC to publish it on their website. Govts attitude towards these fraudsters has been nonchalant at best. If d govt can freeze accounts of protesters, why does it allow ponzis to have a free rein with feeble warnings on their website? Nigeria is a failed State SEC published it on their website that MBA is a ponzi scheme but they didnt listen Their investors said the FG doesn't want people to make money and they have personal beef with Mba It was funny and ridiculous |

Yes, that's very true. However, what I cannot guarantee you is that you will get your funds back because of Nigerian factor.

justwise: You need far more than 6K as maintenance money to get a visa, please read breakdown post by mimilyrics in the first page of this thread.
Yes you can travel with 6K for a start.
The instalment plan with the school is good but for you to meet that payment plan you have to earning at least £2400 a month....that is after taking away £1.600 you will have money left for rent, bills and feeding.
Now the question is..can you earn that much a month? Yes you can if you are doing 60hrs a week(including overtime) and earning at least £10 per hour.
So you should be looking for jobs like security, warehouse etc,..jobs that will give you more hours of work. Will that 6K be extra extra sufficient enough for only one person? |

Lazyyouth4u: Minus miracle from God, the only logical explanation is that the teacher teaches in a boarding school with staff quarters. Free house, free light, free water and free food for family from dining hall. His children go to the school for free and no transportation costs as na just to trek to and from staff quarters. With cooperative loans, some egunje and runs here and there plus wife’s salary, of course the person can afford to build small decent bungalow inside one village or very cheap town on his 50k teacher salary.
But a common man that has to feed and clothe his family, pay rent, school fees, light and water bills, transport, buy data and phone credit, etc and still wants to build house on a 50k salary will have to depend on God’s miracle. And miracles still happen. Shalom All things being equal, you actually can manage this - data is not a must as a lot of people do not use smartphones, phone credit can also be reduced to bare minimum
Transport, some people actually follow people with cars to work, to and fro.. Especially common for government workers
School fees - no be everyone go go expensive sch las las
Clothes - You can get cheap clothes at Super / yaba between #300 to 1K naira. Office shirts, 600 bucks - very clean ones sef
It is not easy to do, but it can be done. Said person will have to cut down on a lot of things which make life enjoyable |
