According to the trends data, using the past 7 (seven) days' filter 03-08-2022 to 10-08-2022.

OVERALL AVERAGE

Bola Ahmed Tinubu (49%)
Atiku Abubakar (26%)
Peter Obi (48%)
Rabiu Kwankwaso (3%)

There are still about 6 months before February 2023, but I can tell you that the significant contest will be between Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Peter Obi, and Atiku Abubakar.

There are also going to be lots of surprises, more swing states or battleground states are emerging.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu leads with about 15 states: Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ogun, Kwara, Lagos, Jigawa, Plateau, Niger, Kogi, Kaduna, Bauchi, Borno, and Taraba.

It's good to share that in Lagos, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had 41%, while Peter Obi is at 38%.

Can Lagos be a swing state?

Next, Peter Obi leads with about 13 states: Edo, Delta, Benue, Nasarawa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Imo, Bayelsa, Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra, and Enugu.

Do you know that the FCT will also be a battleground?

Bola Ahmed Tinubu 37% and Peter Obi 37% each, according to the trends at this time.

Next, Atiku Abubakar with about 8 states: Kebbi, Yobe, Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Gombe, Adamawa and Kano.

Yes, I was equally surprised with the traction from Kano - Atiku Abubakar 33%, Bola Ahmed Tinubu 26%, Rabiu Kwankwaso 24%, and Peter Obi 17%.

It’s good to share that Kwankwaso’s highest traction is from Kano, but they also have been growing in Jigawa, Katsina, Yobe, Bauchi, and Borno State.

SWING STATES OR BATTLEGROUND STATES:

(a) Katsina State - Bola Ahmed Tinubu 40% and Atiku Abubakar 41%.

(b) Yobe State - Atiku Abubakar 47% and Bola Ahmed Tinubu 41%.

(c) Lagos State - Bola Ahmed Tinubu 41% and Peter Obi 38%.

(d) Kebbi State - Atiku Abubakar 51% and Bola Ahmed Tinubu 49%.

(e) Edo State - Peter Obi 43% and Bola Ahmed Tinubu 38%.

(f) Plateau State - Peter Obi 37% and Bola Ahmed Tinubu 39%.

(g) Jigawa State - Bola Ahmed Tinubu 40% and Atiku Abubakar 39%.

(h) FCT - Peter Obi 37% and Bola Ahmed Tinubu 37%.

(i) Borno State - Bola Ahmed Tinubu 37% and Atiku Abubakar 36%.

(j) Benue State - Peter Obi 41% and Bola Ahmed Tinubu 36%.

(k) Nasarawa State - Bola Ahmed Tinubu 36% and Peter Obi 39%.

(l) Taraba State - Bola Ahmed Tinubu 36%, Peter Obi 34%, and Atiku Abubakar 30%.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Putin Has Decided To Invade Ukraine On Wednesday - Intelligence Report by hysteriabox(m): 4:50pm On Feb 13, 2022
MangekyoAlt:

You don't like russians because they oppress sovereign nations? I challenge you to go and start reading the history of USA. I almost guarantee you that you will start liking the russians, as do I. Because like you, I used to be brainwashed into thinking the russians are the bad guys.

The USA did much, much worse than Russia is currently doing. The western media's tries to cover all of it and I'll tell you they actually succeeded. But then, if you go deep, you will definitely see books or even articles that explain their brutal history.

Anyway, since you claim russia doesn't respect other countries sovereignty. Let me give you a few examples of when USA attempted and did far worse of what Russia is currently doing with Ukraine. USA even killed their own citizens to make it seem like it is other "sovereign" countries that did it, to justify invasion.

in 1898, for instance, the US exploded USS Maine in Havana killing 266 American mariners to blame and declaring war on Spain.

Please I advice you to Google operation north woods. Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation against American citizens that originated within
the US Department of Defense of the United States government in 1962.
The proposals called for the CIA operatives to both stage and actually commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets , blaming them on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba. Ukraine...sound familiar??

Now you see that Cuba that I mentioned? That country Don see hell fire for USA hand. I'm willing to write about the suffering that was meted upon them by USA, but I'll leave that for another day. Let me talk about NATO, USA, RUSSIA & UKRAINE.

So many of you nairalanders actually think Russia is the aggressor and the cause of the current tension. Well that is false! NATO and the USA are both the problem. Here do you know why? Well, the West been led by the USA had been expanding its DS Military infrastructure footprint throughout Europe; deploying NATO nuclear missiles, U.S. missile defense systems and special forces along Russia’s doorstep.
Putin hasn’t been toppling governments in Eastern Europe, installing proxies, or deploying Russian missiles and Soviet defense systems. As you nairalanders make it seem. It’s been the West, moving East. Since the end of the Cold War, the West has been systematically cutting Russia off from the rest of the world, using NATO.

What’s happening in Ukraine today is the same thing that happened in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. please go and read about the Cuban missile crisis if you can. America put nuclear missiles in Italy and Turkey. The Soviet Union ‘RESPONDED’ by putting missiles in the Caribbean (via submarines) and Cuba.
America learned about the Soviet missiles in the Caribbean and Cuba and freaked out bc of the extremely close proximity of the Soviets’ military infrastructure. With Soviet missiles that close, America would not have sufficient time to analyze, evaluate and respond to a potential threat. America went nuts, demanded the Soviets immediately remove the missiles.
The Soviets had made the same complaints and demands about America’s nuclear missiles in Italy and Turkey. The United States said those missiles were defensive. After the Soviets responded in kind putting the same in the Caribbean and Cuba, America said the missiles were an aggressive threat.
The Cuban Missile Crisis had begun. The Soviets were not the aggressors, they were the respondent.
The United States wasn’t having it and began plans to invade Cuba, put 100,000 plus troops on Florida beaches, set up an illegal Naval blockade in the Caribbean blocking all ships from reaching Cuba and the United States, flew Spy Planes over Cuba (which got shot down, killing Air Force Pilot Rudolph Anderson). The U.S. also attacked Soviet submarines which were lawfully patrolling in international water and hadn’t fired on anyone.
Pretty hypocritical, right?
The Soviets were simply responding in kind, and refused to back down. In the end, in order to avoid nuclear war, America agreed to remove its nuclear missiles from Italy and Turkey, and thereafter the Soviets agreed to remove its missiles from Cuba, restoring the status quo and balance of power to the position the parties were in before America dramatically expanded its military footprint.
Today, we see the EXACT SAME scenario happening. The West has been building up its NATO footprint, putting NATO weapons, nuclear missiles, missile defense systems and special forces in former Soviet states.
Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan we’re a step too far for Putin inasmuch as this is literally on the doorstep of Russia.
Putin has amassed his extraordinary military machinery and has told the world that NATO missiles are NOT going into Ukraine. Putin has also demanded the West remove its missiles from the former Soviet states surrounding Russia.
Sound familiar!
Putin will win this battle, NATO and the rest of the world will agree to restore the status quo and remove NATO missiles. If the Biden / NATO missiles currently on their way actually enter Ukraine, you will see Putin respond with the use of his vast military.

My candid opinion: 1) To reduce cost for you in general, since there are so many good architects here, auction out the design. i.e tell us the plot size (length and breath of the land). Then interested parties can submit their preliminary designs in like a week. This way you can choose a good and cost friendly design.
2) I read you want your mom to supervise the project. This is only a good idea if she's in the construction industry. If not, handing out a construction project to someone not knowledgeable enough in the industry might be a problem. Because they will most times good for materials with cheap price without taking into consideration the quality of the said material. Trade secret: it doesn't matter whether you're supervising the project with a Hawkeye, if the contractor wants to cheat you, he will. It's advisable to give the project to someone that knows his trade.
3) Prices of materials always hike during this period and beginning of each new year, don't know why. So you might want to wait for the price to come down before embarking on the project
On point
Seconded
"supervise your thing" looks like a good way to cut cost, but nope... It's a slippery slop.

There is intense pressure on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to resign his position with immediate effect, Daily Independent has exclusively gathered.

Sources close to the vice president said since the latest developments in the presidency started, he has received calls from his mentors and loyalists within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to quit his position if he realises “the current developments in the presidency are attempts to humiliate him”.

“Since these developments started, a lot of concerned Nigerians have expressed their concern that the vice president should resign in order to avoid further humiliation. I think that is the intention of those behind the plot too. They want to frustrate him into quitting but I don’t think he (Osinbajo) will do that, at least not for now”, a credible source in the presidency said.

Trouble began last month when the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, issued a memo to Babatunde Fowler, chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), requesting him to account for significant variances in the budgeted collections and actual collections by the agency.

Though Fowler, who is a long standing associate of Osinbajo, replied the memo, many believed it was attempt by the presidency not to renew his term.

Also, President Muhammadu Buhari directed his new ministers to channel all requests for meetings with him through his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. Many Nigerians kicked against the move, saying that should have been delegated to Osinbajo, who is the number two man in the government.

On Monday, President Buhari dissolved the Economic Management Team (EMT) headed by Osinbajo and raised another, the Economic Advisory Council (EAC).

The new EAC, which reports directly to the president, will be chaired by an economist, Prof. Doyin Salami.

While Osinbajo has no role in the new economic team, it was also gathered that he may no longer be in charge of the Social Investment Programmes (SIPs) of the current administration, as the TraderMoni and other SIPs will now be handled by the new Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.

Another presidency source also confirmed that the staff of the vice president will be reduced in the days ahead “in a cost cutting measure”.

A lot of political analysts have said the latest move is targeted at whittling Osinbajo’s powers ahead of the 2023 presidential election as the cabal in the presidency is scheming towards retaining power in the North after President Buhari may have completed his eight years rule.

However, the presidency has kept mum on the issue and efforts made to speak with media aides of the president and some leaders of the APC proved abortive as they declined to speak on the matter.

Speaking on the latest developments, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), said the setting up of the Economic Advisory team will not in any way reduce Osinbajo’s powers.

“Honestly, I don’t see the development in that light. There should be an independent Economic Management team who are economic advisers to the president, it has always been like that. What Osinbajo is doing, his job under the constitution, is chairman of National Economic Council which involves all the governors of the states.

“This new one that was established is to ensure that there is no lacuna. This one is a policy-framing body, they frame policy and recommend to the government. I think that will not affect Osinbajo’s day-to-day responsibilities as head of the Nigerian Economic Council which has a lot of work on implementing policies at the federal and state level.

“My view is that this new group will strengthen Nigeria’s economic power house and capacity to meet our national challenges. It does not remove anything from Osinbajo. He still retains all his constitutional authorities as the chairman of his economic body”, Sagay said.

On his part, Junaid Mohammed, a Second Republic lawmaker, said while there is no rift between Osinbajo and Buhari, loyalists of the vice president should desist from raising false alarm where there is none.

“Osinbajo has performed for the country and for Buhari because of the president’s physical infirmity since he became president. Osinbajo could not have carried out those roles without the permission and authority of the president, his boss. If there is anything wrong in the course of doing his job, it is the responsibility of the president and not the media to call him to order.

“If the two most important people in the country have a problem between themselves which I don’t believe they have, it is the duty of the party to resolve any issues they have. But of course, I am aware that some people who claim to be close to Osinbajo are busy raising false alarm which does not exists,” he said.
https://www.independent.ng/pressure-mounts-on-osinbajo-to-resign/

The plot is simple (assuming there is any) :
Frustrate him to resignation... After which bubu will appoint Ahmed Tinubu as VP, all in a bid for a successful 2023 run for the latter.

Speaking in a chat with INDEPENDENT, Yinka Odumakin, the organisation’s National Publicity Secretary said Osinbajo’s position has become totally redundant and irrelevant.

No one has the right to put her in that position. It's her decision and should not be pressured or mentally blackmailed to donate. It's her call.
Its left for her to consider the facts that its the man she loves, the one that was there for her, that married her to spend the rest of his life with, the one that might do same if the situation was reverse.... One kidney is enough to live healthy to 100 years.

Renderhelp:
Hi @Renderhelp...

I am so confused and tired. I don't understand what is wrong with my 8 year old daughter.

Everyone calls her an ogbanje and I'm starting to think its true.. She is a tricky person and acts older than her age.

One day, I sent her to buy me 2 crates of eggs from a nearby store. I gave her 2000 naira. She spent hours and I became worried, so I went to look for her. I saw her on the way and her eyes were red, she had been crying bitterly. She told me the eggs fell into the gutter and she couldn't jump in to get it as the gutters were flooded. I told her not to worry and we went home.

That same day, my neighbor came to ask me why I sent my daughter to eat at a fast food restaurant alone and I didn't send my other kids. I was surprised and told her I didn't. She said she saw my daughter eating rice, chicken and icecream .. That was how I found out she had lied about the eggs. I flogged her thoroughly that day.

That night, I had my bath and applied lotion on my body. Few minutes later, my body became hot. Both my eyes and private parts were on fire. I ran into the bathroom to pour cold water on my body. I was like a mad woman that night.

The next day, I checked my cream and saw it was red with particles of pepper in it. I became afraid of my daughter that day!!!

She also steals a lot. We can't hide money in the house anymore. Our neighbors have warned their kids to stay away from my daughter.
.
Recently, she quarreled with a little boy and slapped him. She later went back to apologise to him and asked him to hug her. The boy hugged her not knowing she had a razor blade in her hand which she used to tear his back. We took the boy to a clinic and paid for his treatment. We also had to apologise to his parents.

My mother suggested we should take her to see a prophet but I don't trust those men.

My daughter is just 8 years old and she is so evil...how about when she becomes a teenager??!!

We have beaten, punished and advised her but she's getting worse by the day.

Please help my daughter!
Well... She is a witch alright - if you consider stubbornness and witchcraft thesame thing.
For me, it's sheer stubbornness And hardheartedness. I was one like that. No deliverance was done on me. I just... Grew.
I literally couldn't stomach what I consider as nonsense.

U shout on me, I ll wait till u go out to buy something at night and then I ll lock u outside. No hard feelings

U insult me, I'll put a pin in ur favorite chair. That should jerk u up a bit

My teacher scolded me for walking around during evening prep, I followed him in the dark and stoned him like a mad man. That got not only me suspended from school, but the entire set.

See.. Na stubbornness. Just find her spot and drill. Me? Talk to me, look me in the eye and tell me consequence.. I just might listen

This FFK seems to get worse by the day, declare war on South Africa with all the problems already facing Nigeria? With what money? With which ally?

Even if we are going to break ties with SA, how the bleep are we going to nationalize their companies for God sake, does FFK even know what’s called international law?

What bargaining power do we have against South Africa? What effect can our sanction have against them? Can we get enough ally in AU to lay embargo on SA? I know we sell crude oil to them, what effect can this have if we stop selling to them? What effect will it have if we sanction their companies here? What’s the resultant effect on Nigeria economy?

Let’s be honest, Nigeria will fail economically if MTN, Multichoice, Shoprite, etc. lay off their workers or shut down by sanction. We already have million unemployed, we are also adding thousands or million to the bulk. Will the law of reciprocity work here? Will SA feel the effect of the sanction more than the resultant effect on our economy?

People keep equation Nigeria with USA that has enough power to collapse any government in Africa, but Nigeria don’t have that much strength yet to be honest, it’s just ridiculous for a former minister to say we should nationalize their companies and go to war with them.

How does he even become a minister with his dysfunctional brain and hatred in his DNA?

Well... Some people speak out of sheer anger. What he is demanding is just sick. Why didn't he advice GEJ to do it back in 2015? Poor knowledge of international law. The only pastors that enjoy are the general overseers and those close to them. All these branch pastors don't have access to the purse as everything is forwarded to the headquarters.
I had a chat with a pastor who dumped christ embassy and he told me that he's thanking God every day that he stepped down as pastor because it felt like a huge burden was lifted off his shoulders.

How can you give a pastor of a small church a monthly target of 500k?
500k...that one small na. The branch I was in years back, made up of about 20 "broke" families had a bill of 5mil to cough out to "meet up" with others.
