Ishilove: Snails. Ukwuani land.
I've never eaten snails, will never knowingly eat them. If one unknowingly eats them, you're supposed to induce vomiting. If you can't, you're to go for ceremonial cleansing. So, you're Ukwani? Ndokwa West? East? Delee |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Here Is Why New Applicants Don't Get NGO Jobs Often by iamclime(m): 9:04pm On Apr 09, 2020 |
Npower: Most NGOs have a budget for the stipend of their volunteers, hence, don't just accept volunteers anyhow. There should be something you want to offer as a volunteer and not just to come get the experience. I was good with computers, so I volunteered to work as a data entry assistant in a state level NGO, while on it, I put eyes in other program areas like M&E, Proposal writing, and guess what, within 6 months, I was made an M&E Officer for one big project like that. With that experience, I applied for a job in a bigger NGO and got it. From there, I have worked with other bigger international and indigiounous NGOs. Today, my salary is unimaginable and most of my friends envy me but I have tried to link them to volunteer but after a month or less, they will drop because of the little stipend they get. They want to earn like me but they don't want to start like me We should talk. I'm interested in NGOs and have requisite training and some experience in some of their core operational areas (M&E, Data Analysis, Field work, Administration, etc). Care to chat? How do I reach you? |

I have spent some time in Ikot Ekpene and Uyo, both in Akwa Ibom state. Those places are really clean, at least by Nigerian standards. I have many friends and acquaintances from AKS (Ibibio, Annang, Efik, Oron, etc). Generally, these folks don't joke with cleanness, both of their persons and their surroundings. As for their food, mehn! |

A nice JD here. However, with all the requirements stated in the JD and the fact that the candidate will have to spend on electricity and data, and still achieve the expected level of output, you may need to review the remuneration upwards. Just my opinion. If you have need for RAs in other Management/Social Sciencies, especially Marketing/HRM/Business Administration, please let me know. I have cognate experience working with some PhD researchers and can use some research tools fairly well. I have co-authored a paper which I presented at an academic conference and currently working on other papers for journal publication. Research is my forte and I am seeking a challenging and rewarding project to work on. Thanks. |
