God bless u. You've just echoed my thought. When u r no longer concerned about delivering quality health care but rather more interesting in intimidating, arm twisting, and bullying your other professional colleagues due to ur insecurities, inferiorities and narcissistic personality. Then the public also suffers. The hand you use in pressing others down ends up keeping you down cos you won't have any extra hands to climb up. |
Nairaland General › Re: Why You Should Be Really Worried If Your Are Not Making Mistakes by IBBG(m): 6:18pm On Feb 15, 2016 |
a luvly one from the op there. at times there comes a time when you just have to step out and risk it all even in the face of uncertainties, and at the risk of falling face flat on the floor and being ridiculed. a times we just have risk risking it all. The worse thing that will happen is that you might fail, which is not an end in itself. as long as there is life there is hope, death is worst than failure. cos a living dog is better than a dead lion cos a dead lion is history gone, while a living dog is history about to happen. |

sweatlana: Stop pointing at history unnecessary... Gejs failure at 2nd term which was caused my the sw changes everything. The SS supported obj twice when it got to our turn the sw betrayed us! We the SS will never support a yoruba man! Let the north continue to rule! True talk but their arrogance will not let them see it. votes will be split in the north, the SS and SE will rather vote a northerner than a SW. So as it is, the three regions may not produce a president in a very long time, except by divine intervention where the incumbent dies in office if they don't settle their political scores. |

Politics › Re: Ben-Bruce: Give Students Biscuit & Don't Pay Workers, Get Biscuit Illiterates by IBBG(m): 3:17pm On Feb 10, 2016 |
woodcook: A times the way you people twist things just to fed into your agenda of defending the present administration is alarming. The truth is Nigeria economy and the present policies being implemented will not affect you differently because you choose to support it even when it is obvious that such policy is flawed.
Yes it is the responsibility of the state and local government to pay primary school teachers, but if I remember correctly the building block of this present administration is 'change' which means we have to do what is right for our country by doing things differently. Don't you think that given the present situation of our education system that the federal government should put that money towards improving the welfare of teachers at the primary school level irrespective of whose responsibility it is? Because right now we are all fighting hard to save our sinking country it does not matter anymore whose fault it is it is now a collective effort to rebuild our nation. Mind you, am not saying that FG should take over payment of primary school teachers salaries but the FG could create an incentive at the federal level that helps better the life of primary school teacher all over Nigeria.
You made mention of food and poor nutrition, for one, biscuit is never and will never be a replacement for proper diet. Let even assume that NASCO isn't going to supple biscuit to the pupil what else are they going to supply if not processed food. Processed food when the world is doing everything within their power to move away from feeding their student process food.
Please I understand that you are a big fan of the present administration and its policies but the truth is you and people like you are not doing PMB any good with your blind support. The best you can do for him is to ensure he has sound policies by looking at his policies with an unbiased mind and critic it objectively so that by the end of his tenure he would have achieved that which he set out to achieve. intelligent response. the problem I have with this administration is its shallow mindedness and their penchant for playing to the gallery instead of doing the real thing. Good governance is not rocket science, is about putting the nation first and doing everything to serve the interest of the nation. but Nigerians and our politicians make good governance look like an impossibility that will only require the IQ of God to achieve. |

the truth they say is always bitter, only those who are willing to grow will swallow it's bitter pills. Ben Bruce did hit the nail on the head. this an absolute waste of funds and another avenue to loot us in the name of feeding. that huge feeding bill should be invested in redeveloping our primary and secondary education to resursitate it from its current comatose state. And moreover what message are we sending to this small ones growing up? That they should spend on their stomach instead of developing their minds. |

OTEGA1: Instead of mtn glo and etsalat to come and sponsor something like dis with potential to change lives dey will be searching for singing talent bullshit. especially the huge amount they give to celebrities. Glo is culpable for this. spending money on celebrities instead of their crappie network. if I were the president I would have set aside a special fund to finance indigenous technology that has wide domestic application. it will be inform of a technology expo or competition where those who win have access to the fund to ensure reproducibility of the technology in our local economy thereby driving a technological revolution. |

How many Nigerians are gainfully employed as at today. The number Nigerians in self employment, entrepreneurship and SME and are more that those working offices and companies. our fiscal and monetary policy is not helping entrepreneurship or MSMEs at all. With the cost of borrowing always at the double digit. advance economies don't charge this outrageous interest rates. because they know MSMEs are the engine room of the economy, so they'll do anything to protect it including lowering interest rates to ridiculously cheap levels. |
