raumdeuter:No need arguing unnecessarily my nigga. This is a quote from a manager asked to defend his clubs decision to release Lampard after the fact. I can also show you where he asked the club to give Lampard a new contract before the fact. Nothing you will tell us would make us believe that JM did not rate Lampard. It is the same manager that called Lampard the best player in the world. Besides you are talking about 2014, I am talking about 2011. I don't see how your timeline fits in with my original statement: Ibime:I don't want long debate on old talks. The fact is that Lampards demotion at Chelsea started in 2011. First it was AVB that questioned Lampards role as starting AM, then Emenalo changed the direction and strategy of the club to where Lampard was relegated away from the AM position. My point is simply that the ninny-lovers cannot appreciate the skill of such a player like Lampard. If Emenalo was running things in 2004, someone like Rui Costa would be starting AM not Lampard, because that is the only kind of player he sees talent in, and we know his pattern. It is just indicative of underdeveloped footie understanding. Some ninjas for example will never see anything good in a player like Thomas Muller because their mind thinks football can only be good with bells and whistles, and cannot appreciate a no-frills player. Our Aba made TD is one of such people. Leave the long talks, lets just give Super Frank his just due. Since 2011 when certain ninjas tried to sideline him he has gone on to break Chelsea goal and assist record, has proven his talent at City even at an advanced age, and his inate talent is still shining through today in MLS at the age of 38. That's all I wanted to say, not to discuss contract details! |
Reminder for those with short memories who claim Lukaku flopped at Chelsea. Few cameo appearances on the right wing does not equal a flop!
|
raumdeuter:You tried but failed. Mourinho demanded the club give him new contract when he was coming in in 2013, even after the club had decided to let him go. We are talking of those who decided to change the direction of the club, and flood the club with ninnies like Oscar and co, including the Technical Director who in 2012 told us he is planning a Chelsea with 3 ninnies behind Torres with Mikel and Ramires in a pivot. Yet Lampard kept saving our season and qualifying us for UCL with his goals, and was still top scorer, after the club have wiped him out of plans. |
Mehn, it doesn't take a genius to know why Frank Lampard is my favourite Chelsea player of all time. Some halfbaked niggas who though football is about flicks and tricks refused to put respect on his name, which only shows they are inexperienced in footie matters. This includes otondos like our Technical Director who decided to sign numerous AMs and ninnies to replace this guy, to the effect that Lampard was pushed into the pivot 2-3 years before his time as an AM was done. My niggie Lamps now has something silly like 8 goals in his last 7 games in MLS including this hattrick today. This is a 38 year old man for Godssake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHvw3Pb6nU8 |
hensben:It's a loan deal. |
Oscar in midfield should never be repeated. I don't what part of central midfield play fits in with Oscars profile. His best position is actually left-wing cos he has a good cross on him. Those American boys from weaintgotnohistory.com who know zilch about footie keep promoting the Oscar as CM idea. Matic-Chalobah was a good combo Any two from Matic, Kante and Chalobah is a stable combo. Chalobah is starting to impress me with his touch and vision. I even had to go back and review his touches from a game while on loan at Napoli to believe my eyes. I knew him as a run-run midfielder when he was at loan at Watford. Baba Rahman has completed his medical at Schalke. Someone told us he is better than Ake, meanwhile he ain't even better than Ola Aina. Where Emenalo sent Ake away in favour of Rahman, it has only taken one game of football for Conte to decide that Rahman needs to go. When I say Emenalo is clueless, it's this kind of thing we are talking about. Imagine having a TD who actually knows his job and has common sense to know that Conte will need Ake. |
bigkesh:No. |
Judging by preseason so far, I reckon Ola Aina and Chalobah have already pushed Rahman and Mikel from Contes thinking. |
Where Aregbe see the money. Someone who has reduced Osun to penury |
See what miracles Wike is performing with N120 bln loan in 1 year |
Bimffo:Drogba gats no chill. He's even trolling em from MLS. |
Kolade354:The man just collect £76m for Higuain. He get enough money to reject am o. |
timbros:Only young inexperienced men judge players on International tournaments that only last 4 or 5 games. That's how Liverpool foolishly went to break their transfer record for El Hadji Diouf after 2002 World Cup. Go and bring Moratas league record let us see. Someone that is yet to pop 10 league goals in any season. I prefer Diafra Sakho. Mchseew. Lukaku actually has 6 solid seasons behind him, 4 in England and 2 in Belgium. Please who is Morata, and in which season has he scored goals? |
timbros:You're starting to sound ridiculous now. Just stop this nonsense cos you are starting to lose respect. Sturridge is a fluid forward that can play on the wings. Lukaku is purely a no9 like Lewandowski, Drogba etc. This blockheaded repetition of asking why Lukaku can't play like Sturridge is stewpid. Sturridge is not 6 ft 4 inches with the body of a weightlifter. |
timbros:Ta! My friend sharraaaaaaap dia! I always say those of us with memory trump those who just rehash stats. Lukaku has only 199 league minutes in his Chelsea career with only 1 start. That is 2 matches worth of minutes. Almost every single minute was played on the right wing. And this one is yarning nonsense about why couldn't he prove himself. Isn't his last 4 years performance testament to the fact that Chelsea phucked up badly with Lukaku (and Sturridge) in their quest to play shekpe keeper by all means. Even the club have admitted and gone back to their vomit by enquiring about Lukaku this summer, yet someone is telling me nonsense that Lukaku didn't prove himself in the 199 minutes he was given as a substitute on the right wing in 2012. How can a so called Chelsea fan not know the politics of the shekpe keeper era. |
timbros:Does Lukaku look like no7 or no9 in your eye? The Giroud you used as an example, have you ever seen him playing on the wing? What if Costa, or Drogba. Maybe you even expect Rashidi Yekini to play on the wings abi? Even still, tell us how many games Lukaku started on the wings. You yarning nonsense mate, that is no insult. Lukaku is a typical no9. |
timbros:Fight for what place in Chelsea? You think Lukaku and Sturridge are stewpid to sit behind a useless Torres just because Abramovic said so, all in the name of "fighting for his place". If it was a true fight and fair fight, Lukaku or Sturridge would have been 1st choice striker since 2012! I challenge any Chelsea fan to show me a single match that Lukaku started as no9 for Chelsea. Keep typing nonsense about fighting for place. In the same match, Costa could not even run behind a 33 year old Jagielka once, while Lukaku was packing Azpi, Mikel and Iva to the floor. |
See Chelsea fans wey get mouth to diss Lukaku. Dem done forget how Lukaku almost had Abramovic in tears after this match. . . . meanwhile Costa was fighting WWE, could not even run once behind Everton defence, losing the ball almost everytime he got it and looking like a snail upfront. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Wk7wrcdcag |
Greatihex:Sharrap dia! Lukaku never played for Chelsea. Infact no Chelsea fan can point to a single match Lukaku started as a no9 at Chelsea. |
Those looking for 4-4-2 forward should also consider Jese Rodriguez |
diggz:Lukaku anyday. And I will play 4-5-1 with a nigga like Lampard supporting him. Twould be just like the Chelsea of old with Lukaku in the Drogba role. One man battering ram that can occupy 4 defenders on his own. Forget talk of first touch. The ninja is a nuisance factor. DD also had the worst first touch in England when he came from Marseille. |
diggz:Lukaku anyday. And I will play 4-5-1 with a nigga like Lampard supporting him. Twould be just like the Chelsea of old. |
I don't think Lukaku works in a 4-4-2. That ninja was built for lone striker. Timbros wake me up when Morata registers 10 league goals in a season. |
NavierStokes:What Adeosun didn't tell you is that 2016 CAPEX budget is the smallest in 10 years on PPP comparative because the Chinese and Julius Berger do not accept payment in Naira. In dollar terms, OBJ had a bigger CAPEX budget in 2007 - $5.1bln vs $4.9bln at current FX rates. Not to mention the budget is completely unimplementable due to dwindling oil revenues. We have just seen $1bln released after a full year. As standard, Nigeria prosecutes CAPEX projects with $6bln yearly. You dont need a guru to tell you there is a big black hole in our finances, which is why those who follow numbers and not politics insist steadfastly on ECA account being respected as it should have been. It is not a minor matter to brush aside for political expediency. As for economic indices, I don't see how an extra $1bln of Govt spending will materially effect a $300bln dollar economy. The major economic force at play that affects the common man now is lack of Forex earnings through oil sales to help stabilise the Naira. Oil price and Avengers are our major economic concern. |
NavierStokes:N330 billion has not been spent. It's been given to the ministries to spend just a month ago. Which indices do you expect a $1billion capital fund to push north? Are you proposing the smallest Keynesian stimulus in history? 2014 Capital Budget was $6.7bln at $77 oil price benchmark. Oil Price ended up hitting $89 average for the year. I assume 50% of the uplift (FG share) was also spent on CAPEX as nothing was saved. |
Deen77:It is not Govts business to build refineries. The US does not have a single state owned refinery. Dangote refinery is the way forward. |
Ibime:Seems I spoke too soon. Tevez says Chelsea and Napoli have asked after him but he wants to retire at Boca. |
NavierStokes:My friend, quit ranting. Are you discussing with me or ranting to yourself about things only you know about? Who argued with you in the past? You think you are discussing with zombie or wailer or your fellow e-warrior? I can see hunger hasn't finished with you. Brace yourself, more hunger is coming your way. By the time it is finished with you, you will change your name to Bernoulli or Black-Scholes. |
diggz:Exactly. In the course of the debate egbon Nihilist even disparaged Ola Aina in comparison to Ryan Bertrand forgetting that Bertrand was another youth product, and he made PFA 11 the same season we let him go. Meanwhile we are having to stomach Baba Rahman in the same position! |
NavierStokes:You are quite infantile. 60 MDAs received funding for ongoing projects in June including for example for completion of Lagos-Ibadan expressway. If you are genuinely interested in finding out, go and visit BudgIt.com as they are technical consultants to the fund release. http://venturesafrica.com/fgn-releases-n280b-for-completion-of-ongoing-capital-projects/ |
Erdogan propaganda (not the UBA bit) Most of those privates did not know they were going to do coup. They thought their commanders brought them out for a drill. If those rank and file soldiers bought into the coup, they would not have laid down weapons so easily. |
NavierStokes:For your village does it take 60 days to execute a capital project? The funds were released on 14th of June, and projects will still be in planning and mobilisation stage. What are you expecting to see, roads and bridges completed in 1 month? No spoil this Navier Stokes name of yours because some of us studied that equation in school. |
