Nateevs and Nihilist points both agree with each other in my view.

Our biggest and only real problem is central midfield, take it or leave it. It has been a problem for 3 years, maybe 5 since Ballack left and Essien lost it.

All other issues in the squad are resolvable with internal players eg moving Azpi to RB, moving Ivanovic to CB and trusting Ake as a reserve LB.

They should keep chasing Pogba. Transfer window will soon close with no result, though Witsel is available.

Who in their right mind will pay Pogba more than Hazard and upset the wage structure? Pogba chase is a doomed exercise. Instead of focusing on what is achieveable, Jose is chasing shadows.

@ Elampiro, I always say that you should never argue with a ninja who watches his team 90 minutes each week. I can't argue Man Utd players with you cos I mostly only watch their highlights each week.

Someone was comparing Oscar, Fabregas and Matic midfield to Essien, Lampard and Ballack.

In which solar system do those two midfields come close to each other, and in what specific skillset can Oscar be compared to Lampard and Ballack? How would one compare a blind bat to two ninjas with incredible vision on the pitch? And how does Fabregas workrate come close to Lampard and Ballacks?

Essien, Lampard and Ballack would flog Oscar and co every week. These are ninjas who used to take Chelsea to UCL semis and finals every season with non-existent wingers like Malouda and Kalou manning their wings, yet that midfield always powered through.

As far as I'm concerned, if current Chelsea team transplant Lampard, Ballack and Essien into their midfield with Hazard and co on the wings, the league is a wrap even before kickoff, and the Champions League becomes winnable too.

Just watch some of the goals Everton have conceded this season. Stones is actually being targeted. Ighalo turned him inside out before scoring. Sterling was just having fun with him this weekend, scattering his brain with legover before assisting Kolarov's goal.

Technique wise, Cuadrado is the worst player I have ever seen play for Chelsea.

Not as "fast" as say the Varane of today but he compensates for that with strength and good positional skills.
He is one of those underrated defenders but highly experienced and at 28 going to 29, imo we should get him.

I think it's pace that ninjas are going for. If na strength and positioning, Cahill and Ivanovic have that in abundance.
