Haba! Ramires crap from first few matches but he was doing fine at a time before now.
Ask around, I have pinpointed how rubbish Ramires is since 2010. At a time I was one of a very few number of ninjas on this thread who understood the function of a central midfielder and how Ramires was not fulfilling that function.

That 2012 season you are talking about, Ramires took the central midfield to 6th in the league table. The big performances you refer to against Barca and Napoli, he played right-back and left-wing respectively. He was a woeful central midfielder then, as he is now. Nothing changed. Me and FBS were the only ninjas speaking against Ramires then when unseasoned football watchers thought he was the best thing since sliced bread. Now 99% of Chelsea fans concur that he is crap, even his greatest supporter dyabman.

It's the same with Oscar. The faults in his game are the same in 2012 as in 2015 ie wayward touch, poor vision and little possession continuity. His strengths are also the same ie great cross and great shot. The same shot he used against Juve to make unseasoned football watchers hanker after a "return to the form of 2012". He was still playing the same nonsense in 2012 that he is playing today.

My humble prayer that he gets back to the oscar i use to know
I'm not sure which Oscar you used to know but the Oscar of today is exactly the same as the Oscar of yesterday.

It's like ninjas saying "the Ramires I used to know" meanwhile I have always pinpointed to ninjas that Ramires is crap from the first few matches he played for Chelsea. Same as Oscar.

All that means is some ninjas don't understand what they are watching when they are watching it.

I'm not surprised at your submission. Anyone who followed Henry's career and not just depend on tales from mouth to mouth would come to the same conclusions
For DD vs Henry, read Mboma vs Eto

Although Eto is clearly the better and more highly lauded player, those who watched Cameroun from late 90s to early 2000s will tell you that you cannot compare his contribution to Patrick Mbomas who was the lynchpin of that Cameroun side that won 2 AFCONS and Olympics

I wrote about the Henry myth on the chelsea thread like 2 weeks ago. It's only those who didn't watch him in his career and only saw his statue would think he's all that

Henry simply attached to success. Even his only CL he attached to the great barca team. For France anytime Zidane is missing Henry never delivered
It is on record that Henry was happy with Zidanes retirement after Euro 2004. Henry felt Zidane slowed the game down and with Zidane out of the way, he would profit from rapid counterattacking footie he was used to at Arsenal. After struggling in qualifying, Domenech had to go beg Zidane to return to the fold, the rest is history.

I have watched all International tournaments since Henry's debut. He has not done anything outstanding on the International stage, he simply rode the coattails of his teammates. Christophe Dugarry did more for France than Henry, that's how unremarkable his international career was.

I would take DD over Henry in any big game, however I also consider Henry to be the most outstanding striker in EPL history. It's a hard one to call. I would choose Henry to prosecute a season and use DD for the big games if given the choice.

Problem with ninjas is they stay here calling each other names when a verse on FFR will draw all the ire out the situation.

Some ninjas going back and forth with each other here won't be able to argue with you if you put his or her name in a rhyme in FFR. And if he does, after one or two rounds of back and forth, you grow respect for each other. . . and enjoy what we came here to do.

Noo I believe you know that already maybe some1 hacked your account!! shocked cheesy grin
Barcas revenue you quoted above is mostly driven by a lopsided Spanish TV deal. In terms of gate receipts, see where we rank despite having less than half their stadium capacity. Note Bayern Munich and Dortmund with double our stadium capacity are still behind our matchday revenue.

1 Real Madrid - 129m

2 Man Utd - 122m

3 Arsenal - 115m

4 Barcelona - 98m

5 Chelsea - 82m

6 Bayern Munich - 67m

7 Liverpool - 52m

8 Hamburger SV - 49m

9 Spurs - 45m

10 Celtic - 43m

60000 is alright abeg

Juve even downgraded to 40000

Spanish giants can afford to fill 120000 stadium because they are owned by fans who only pay £20 per head.

You cant fill 120000 charging £50 entry fee.

Try watching match from the top of 80000 stadium, you won't see match well. Some of the fans at Old Trafford, Bernabeu and Nou Camp are just there to savour the atmosphere. They need telescope to watch the game.

60000 isin fact the ideal size that does not hamper viewer experience, and also the size a big club can be expected to fill at current entry prices. To fill 80000 stadium you will have to drop the price so there is no increase in turnover by adding 20000 seats

Only u don talk sense about this guy

Its not as if all ur squad players were world class before they came
Omo, even if the guy is utter crap, I'll rather throway £2.5m on him than spend £40m on Stones.

From reports I've read and videos I've watched, he is 6ft 4, left footed and fast, decent on the ball although quite reckless with challenges and yellow cards.

Let's hope he is like Sylvain Distin or Christopher Samba who came unheralded from France and did a decent job.

I'm happy to avoid the Stones and Pogba transfers which would both be scams, but still hoping for a midfield reinforcement.

If we don't sign a midfielder by close of play tomorrow, I retreat into siddon look mode with no expectations for the season

Someone with 2 caps for Senegal at 27 years old.

Why not Furo Iyenemi?

This is what happens when you fail to plan. At this stage, they should just allow Ola Aina take that place in the squad rather than Papa Ajasco who cannot be better than the Kenneth Omeruo we sent on loan to Timbuktu, going by their National Team records.

I have been charged at by 5 crazy dogs whose owner kept them locked in a cage all year round and let them out once a month to terrorise the neighbourhood

These are the craziest, most aggressive dogs you'll ever meet in your life.

One day I was coming back from an errand and as I entered the gate the 5 dogs charged at me with the whole neighbourhood screaming at me to climb a tree, but it was too late. I was dead meat! Somehow the idea entered my mind to start grabbing handfuls of sand off the ground and throwing at them. For some reason it worked, they got scared and backed off just long enough for me to scamper up the closest calabash tree. I for die that day.
