chamotex:I no dey abeg. . . no get time |
airmark:Axel Witsel for example would have taken us past PSG easily. See the way our midfield was so timid to cross halfway line when we had the man advantage, simply to protrct the weakness in our centre, meanwhile Thiago Motta and Verratti were running the game with confidence. Lack of midfield was the main reason for not getting past PSG |
Thunder firr Michael Emenalo (Yes, I blame him given his antecedence as regards central midfield purchases). The team is dying for a central midfielder to make us even halfway competitive in Europe, all we are hearing is £30m for John Stones. Nonsense. Will John Stones secure Chelsea a single extra point than we got last season? No! Will John Stones take Chelsea further in the Champions league? No! Did John Stones take England Under-21s past the group stage of the Euro Under-21 tourney this summer? No! FFS, JOHN STONES WAS NOT EVEN A GUARANTEED REGULAR FOR EVERTON LAST SEASON! And he's competing against Antonin Alcaraz!!! Jose clearly said at start of summer - I need a defender, midfielder and sttiker. You've given him Falcao and now chasing the defender (Stone) but veto any moves for a midfielder - all because of your pets Mikel and Ramires - same old story Emenalo hasbeen fighting managers to block them signing midfielders for the last 4 years. Thunder fire Emenalo. |
Jeez, na by force to discuss Bousquets and Yaya Toure on our thread? Don't these homeless people have thread? Im sure there is Barca and Man City thread for these negros to use. |
They all deserved what they got. I even have more sympathy for the killer cos that foolish lost Nigerian was the one who went to rob him |
All dope. . My favourites, Rebel, Lyricist and Krone |
AirborneLacer:Yes cos I'd rather have Azpi at RB over Ivanovic |
AirborneLacer:I dont trust either of them. I'm wondering what Ryan Bertrand did wrong for these 2 lesser ninjas to take his place at a higher price than we sold him. |
Kudos to Seun |
Loic Remy looks like a man with no confidence issues whatsoever. You can bench him the whole season and he still comes on with a carefree attititude knowing he would score. That is the perfect profile for a back-up striker. Years of struggling with injuries at Marseille has conditioned his mind not to rely on regular football to play his best. He has also shown outstanding loyalty to Chelsea and JM - the man is ready to fight for his place regardless of who is brought in to relegate him in the pecking order. The reason for this loyalty can be traced back to last summer when Liverpool almost wrecked his career. On the brink of signing for Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers (having been alerted to the prospect of signing Balotelli "on the cheap"), announced to the world that Remy had a hole in his heart - an announcement that has a negative bearing on a players career prospects, earning potential etc. JM corrected this narrative when signing Remy by telling the press that "Remy has a problem in life, but he does not have a problem to play football". I suspect this singular act of JM engendered a fierce loyalty from Remy which continues, even with the signing of Falcao. Just another example of JMs greatest skill - Man management. |
Sagamite:Diezani was not just stealing for herself. She was stealing for Jonathan, hence the monumental amounts |
lordfalcao:Do you know what it takes to play central midfield? Let's start with a first touch that is always within your body space when the ball is passed to you. . . you cant afford the ball to bounce 5 yards from your body even once in a game. . . otherwise defence is under pressure. You cant overhit or underhit a pass to the full back or your central midfield colleagues. . . otherwise defence is under pressure. Lets add a body frame that one knock from behind pushes him over (which happens often in midfield). Can he play on the half turn and receive the ball from the back four with someone on his back? Not really, he doesn't do the half-turn pirhouette lie a specialist midfielder can. When i consider Oscars best three qualities: 1. Good shot 2. Great cross 3. Natural ability to drift away from players when cutting inside (he shares this with Wayne Rooney) I would say his optimal position is left-wing, and he never fails to buy himself space to shoot or cross accurately when he is cutting in from the left. Even watch Chelsea games when he drifts to the left, you will see the outcome is often positive 80% of his assists are also from crosses or cutbacks, hardly ever from through balls which speaks of his failure as a central provider and his prowess from the wide area I also happen to think Hazard is more productive on the right-wing. There is more urgency to his game there, he hits the line and crosses quickly, whereas many times on the left he slows the play and starts walking into the crowded centre. |
bigkesh:Good, they should have him. . . we've got more important things to worry about |
Hopefully Traore and Moses can save us from Cuadrado. But who will save us from Mikel and Ramires? Certainly not that lazy boy Loftus Cheek. |
Adebayor is the kind of celebrity that goes broke 5 years after his career finishes. Always buying assets that depreciate like cars instead of investing in assets that appreciate like property |
Hulk Hogan built his career using black slangs and catchphrases. All that "yeah brother" catchphrase was black lingo. After mimicking the way we talk to build his career, see what he thinks of us. Despicable. |
dopeJemi:Has James Wilson outscored Dominic Solanke at youth level? All fingers are not equal abeg. If James Wilson passes for a first team squad striker, then one would wonder why Chelsea dont add Bamford, Solanke, Tammy Abraham to their first team squad since they've outscored him at youth level. Do you know Solanke scored 41 goals in 39 games for U-21s, reserves and U-19s last season? Wilson was promoted to your first team with 22 goals at that level in 2013/14. You can't bring Wilson to the table when ninjas we don't even consider have outperformed him. |
raumdeuter:You dey mad ni ![]() All these ninjas are bored waiting for the season to start, hence they come to Chelsea thread to find entertainment. No doubt the Chelsea squad needs improvement, and i believe JM has been terribly hamstrung this window by a combination of the one-in, one-out policy and Emenalos intransigence in protecting his buddies Mikel and Ramires (Ramires is his first signing and Mikel is his brother). This can be seen by the fact these eediots claim they don't have money to spend without replacement, yet can magic up £30m for John Stones, despite JM stating central midfield is one of his priorities this summer. The Emenalo-Mikel machine has gone into overdrive this summer, pulling all the stops to ensure Mikel goes nowhere starting with a valuation of €15m put on his head to deter a transfer, followed by a statement today that he will see out the next 2 years of his contract. Its the same bullshit game they have been playing for the last 4 years, only allowing the signing of Matic into a position where RDM, Benitez and Mourinho have argued severally for reinforcements leading to fractious face-offs between Emenalo and previous managers at board meetings. This is a position that had habitually had to have David Luiz and Kurt Zouma drafted in to get through the last 3 seasons, and yet the slimy fellow continues to resist all improvements to that position in order to protect his buddies and the entrenched arguments he has made before the board that the position is well manned. If in doubt, look up the fiery confrontation between himself and Benitez over the issue at a board meeting. Make no mistake about it, the technical director is frustrating our squad rebuilding plans, and putting major obstacles in the path of our success, but if there is anyone that can make a silk purse out of a pigs ear, it is JM. He can still manufacture a trophy out of the nonsense he has been handed. |
dopeJemi:No P. . . |
raumdeuter:He is better than Cuadrado. . . doesn't make him great. . . too many Hulk-style shots over the bar and lack of quality in the final 3rd. . . make we siddon look |
bigkesh:Jobless unfunny fools with nothing doing trying to copy Raumdeuter and A-40. If they think this is a place where they will find their fellow jobless eediots to indulge them, they have another think coming. |
Nihilist:I ain't do nothing bro. Oscars game speaks for itself. |
dopeJemi:Dont let the door hit you on the way out, jobless oaf. Buhari needs to do something about the high level of youth unemployment in our country. |
Watching Ramires and Oscar in the same midfield is torture. 2 headless niggas running around with no purpose, no vision and no passing penetration. If we add Cuadrado to these mentally reetarded bozos, na die be that. |
Gosh, why is this foolish club discussing new contract with Ramires? |
airmark:Football is football. If you cant trap the ball last season, you wont be able trap it this season. Cuadrado will always be headless chicken, likewise Ramires Oscar will always underhit or overhit his pass, and will always play in a blind tunnel. Once you notice these fundamental shortcomings in technique, you just cut those players, forget story about he will come good next season. |
Thanks Tval |
