Nonsense. 16 is the official age when people do their GCSEs and many of them get A*, talkless of As. When I wrote ma GCSEs at 15, we didn't even have A*, only As, but for sure I copped the equivalent of A* in Maths, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This kid is just an average student overhyped by an ignorant journalist.
Lol this is why they call you shape-shifter! You are absolutely sure RDM does not deserve credit for loaning Lukaku and divert credit to Emenalo (can I add tentatively) but when it comes to the squad balance, depth and personnel the buck shouldn't stop at Emenalo

How do you sleep at night?
Certain foolish guy entrenched himself into a position at season start and has been chasing his tail ever since then.

In August, the magan was under the impression that Chelsea squad is well equipped. He spent the whole summer arguing this fact against me.

By November it was easy to blame RDM. He speculated that Benitez could absolve Emenalo

By December, he conceded there was a problem but apparently Emenalo's hands were tied because "we don't have enough club trained players" according to UEFA rules

Then in January he told us Emenalo has no access to financial budget for players and cannot flex the budget to meet the squads needs.

Now apparently, a non-football man, Eugene Tennenbaum has Abramovic's ear over Emenalo on football matters.

All of this whilst discussing the performances of Lukaku, a player over whom he laughed me to scorn 5 months ago when I asserted that both he and Sturridge are better than his favourite shekpe keeper who Chelsea have been labouring with all season.

So as you can see, he has spent the whole season chasing his tail just because his summer arguments have proved foolish. His undying support for Emenalo is linked to this. They are both fantasists who thought the squad was hunky dory in summertime. . . and proved foolish once again.

Some ninjas want me to hit them with the Torres gif and accompanying statements after the Newcastle game. Apparently Torres had always been making great runs, but likes of Lampard didn't understand him until the uber intelligent Hazard arrived to show what Torres has been missing.

Abeg who saw Lampards two volleyed passes against Wigan. The King of the first time pass has never been appreciated by myopic neophytes who can only appreciate a player when he caress the ball and denge before releasing pass. Show me a player who does the first time pass better than Lamps and I'll show you a halal piece of pork.

You forgot that certain ninja always found argument against Lamps every season.

So when easy opportunity presented itself by Lamps being played deeper, it was easy pickings for them to rehash old debate. Afterall every goal conceded could easily be labelled down to the 34 year old man in midfield. Which is why I was happy that Mikel and Rami played that position for 3 months to see if it really was the 34 year old man's fault.

Same peeps never stopped to think that if they had problems with Lamps playing deeper, that Lamps is still an efficiently potent attacking weapon, certainly moreso than Oscar. No, they wanted him out of the team as they have done since 2007 when I joined NL. Even when I posted one possible formation once, certain ninja said I'm just trying to fit Lamps in the team. And like I replied the ninja then and as has been showed for the umpteenth time "Lamps will always have a place in my team cos I always believe in the best players"

So beware who you make your arguments with cos we have long record of arguments certain ninja made against Lamps dating back to 2008 that makes for horrendous reading.

Niggas love distancing themselves from their past.

How about the niggas who claimed in 2009 that they prefer Seydou Keita to Lamps. They would soon call that one lies again.

I remember some mugu who laughed me to scorn when I claimed Lamps would play at top level till 35 like Zanetti.

Or the niggas who claimed Lamps was preventing Oscar from taking his rightful no10 position, yet Lamps is outperforming him offensively by miles. . . from a more defensive position!

A plethora of foolish quotes made by some self -appointed wise men will be out in due time should Lamps solidify his name in history.

Meanwhile, I don't hear Benitez talking about vertical passes anymore. He dropped that project like a hot potato recognising it was an exercise in futility putting all his eggs in a broken basket. Shebi una remember when that was the fad in some niggas mouths back then. Every new week tactical mugus were clinging on to new high faluting ideas in the forlorn hope of making their tactical stupidities a reality.

Why una dey pay that mugu mind.

I'm surprised una no sabi simple Mathematics and allow the mugu bamboozle una with numbers.

Last time the mugu claimed Demba Ba has only scored once in 170 minutes. That's more than a goal every other game. Nobody challenged the eediot.

Now he claims Ba has only scored once in 213 minutes. That's almost averaging a goal every two games.

Now take the longer term and Ba has scored 3 goals in not much more than 300 minutes.

That's again, much better than a goal every other game.

Now ask how many goals Torres has scored at Chelsea. Probably once in every 4 or 5 games.

So next time the eediot start yarning, tell him RVP has scored no goals in the same 200 minutes.

nateevs: "Ramires . . . another Emenalo signing" This here pretty much sums up the premise behind your posts.
We don't hear Mata, Hazard, Oscar, De Bryune, Courtouis, Lukaku, good young players with potential - many of Emenalo's signings. Instead we are constantly reminded where it went sour.

Find me a technical director who gets all signings right. Mention one.
Oh now, finally you are admitting Emenalo makes signings and is responsible for squad building. I thought he was just the toilet washer at Cobhams.

How come he couldn't see the deficiencies in midfield?

He must be as stoopid as Nateevs.

Thanks for listing Emenalo's signings. Now at least we have gotten past the nonsense you were chatting about him perhaps not being responsible for signing anyone and absolving him from creating his squad. He is a GOOD SCOUT as I have always maintained, but has been abysmally poor as Director of Football this season. Read your friend below. . .

debosky: In short, any claims by Ibime that Emenalo's 'job description' is known is pure speculation. Yes he has power and has a role in transfers, but what exactly that role is cannot be clearly determined.

It is just too convenient for Ibime to blame EVERY mistake RDM made on Emenalo, but when RDM appears to do something right, it comes solely from RDM.
You are a dishonest guy. You claim not to know Emenalo's true role, yet cannot explain how he found tens of millions for loan players but no midfield. Did Roman sign De Bruyne. Has Roman heard of Thibault Courtois or Lucas Paizon?

This is the proof that Emenalo has money to spend but cannot see the deficiencies in the squad, or places too much faith in Ramires (another Emenalo signing) and Mikel.

How come Benitez is begging Emenalo for signings? "In quotes". . . before any eediot start talking about DailyMail.

Meanwhile, why are you bugging Ibime on Chelsea thread. Why are you not lying in Wellington hospital with your colleagues from In Amenas? cheesy

Summertime transfer activity by Emenalo the powerless toilet washer at Stamford Bridge. . .

On Buying Without A Manager

One of the more common complaints I've been seeing about Chelsea's recent hilarious spending spree (we're up to £78M once Hulk and Hazard have been finalised, which I'd expect to happen in the next few days) is that Chelsea are dropping huge figures this summer without actually having a manager put in place for the upcoming season. That's a legitimate concern, so I thought I'd explore it here.

Basically, the root cause of this is that Chelsea operate on a continental system that most observers aren't particularly familiar with, splitting up the duties of a traditional 'manager' into two roles - the director of football (DoF) and the first team coach (I'm going to refer to this position as 'manager' just to be as confusing as possible). The DoF is essentially responsible for the entire organisation, top to bottom, while the manager simply makes sure that the first team squad can perform on the pitch. If you're familiar with the way that US sports operate, this is essentially identical to the general manager / manager split.

At Chelsea, the DoF is Michael Emenalo. Obviously, we don't have a full-time manager at the moment, but one isn't required to execute Chelsea's overall transfer policy. Emenalo is the one responsible for building the youth team, bringing in players and setting overall team policy, and although a manager's input is helpful when getting new players in (so that they can better integrate with his idea of how the squad works), it's not actually necessary. Roman Abramovich isn't just buying players willy-nilly.

We've seen this gap cause problems in the past, however. Andre Villas-Boas was clearly not on the same page as Emenalo at times last year, mentioning publicly that the January signing of Kevin de Bruyne was basically nothing to do with him, and it's not entirely out of the question (although this is speculation) that part of the reason Romelu Lukaku struggled to get into the pitch was because he was brought in over Villas-Boas' head.

nateevs: Nobody is buying your evasive tactics. Everything you write is a lie. Nateevs is this, Nateevs is that. Phucking obese liar. When boxed into a corner is when he starts to remember what Nateevs did or did not say.
Nateevs hated Sturridge but RDM never played him. Phat phool cannot explain why.
Emenalo is responsible for this and that, oya show us how you know, you can't prove anything. He ran away yet again.

You build a case on lies, falsehood and at the very best paper-thin conjecture and you attempt to present it as facts. When called out to produce facts, you can't find one single link. You back track and attempt to spin the argument into what Nateevs said in the 1900s. What's that got to do with proving that Emenalo makes sole decisions at Chelsea? What's it got to do with proving that Emenalo instructed RDM not to play Sturridge?

You claim Emenalo had a budget of £73m but you cannot prove it. You claim Emenalo instructed RDM to play Torres, you read it in the papers. You claim Emenalo sent players on loan but you cannot prove it. You create story after story. Lately, you even claim Emenalo hired Benitez but you it's only another round of conjecture lifted from The Sun. You are one big, fat, walking lie.

You can't prove I was Scolari's biggest fan. You can't prove I hate Lamaprd. You can't prove I hate RDM. You can't prove I hate Drogba. You can't prove I hate Sturridge. You are just phucking phat liar - a prophet and proponent of falsehood.
Mugu, I have provided enough links on here over this Emenalo debate. I was on the train from Manchester, not trying to look for links for you.

I have posted enough links on how Emenalo used to argue with RDM weekly about Torres, how RDM was mandated to play Torres etc etc etc. How the fool Emenalo was on training ground in May planning switchback 4-2-3-1 with no manager on ground. How Emenalo wanted Benitez when AVB was sacked but Benitez did not want an interim role. How Benitez detailed the instructions Emenalo gave him in his opening press conference and mentioned Emenalo's name every other sentence.

I don't need to rehash these links for you. You are the forking liar who went from telling us how Emenalo made great signings to claiming Emenalo is powerless.

I will not entertain you with any more nonsense. We all remember how you spazzed out like an EEDIOT when RDM won the Champions League after being made to look a FOOL YET AGAIN.

The point of the matter is chat all you want about RDM, Stamford Bridge already holds him blameless and a legend, and just like your positions on Lampard, AVB, Torres, Scolari and Drogba, you are on the wrong side of what all us fans know. . . and EVER THE FOOL!!!

An eediot who told us at season start that Chelsea have too many defensive midfielders yet spent the whole season trying to find a solution to a midfield problem. A fool who continues to insist that we don't have enough MaZaCars in our squad when our obvious fault lies in conceding goals, not scoring them. For example all the games we lost 3-2 or 2-2 recently should have ended 2-1 or 2-0.

You are a big fool, and it is only right I remind you how much you have been disgraced in your arguments on these pages by listing the above. An eediot who claimed Emenalo made great signings of De Bruyne and such, yet later turned around to claim there is no proof he bought anyone or send anyone on loan, because "I read it in the papers". At least I'm honest enough to give credit where it's due and credit those signings to the Technical Director (as per his job description) because I know Roman knows zilch about signing players, and when he does, it is obvious like Sheva and Torres. All of a sudden, the Emenalo you claimed "is doing a great job with great signings" suddenly turned into the powerless toilet washer at Cobhams. Devious fork-tongued liar!

When someone is a fool, even when they think they are making points, they only expose their stupidity further.

RDM is already absolved by every fan in the land but Nateevs has a habit of being stupendously foolish all the time.

RDM name is sung everyday at the Bridge. Nateevs hates him.

Torres name is booed at the bridge. Nateevs his biggest fan.

Lampard name is sung everyday at the Bridge. Nateevs hates him.

AVB was hated by the punters at the Bridge. Nateevs loved him.

Scolari had no regard at the Bridge. Nateevs his biggest fan blamed his failure on lack of Robinho.

Nateevs was looking forward to defensive improvements Benitez will bring. Stamford Bridge have branded him a failure.

Drogba a legend at the Bridge. Nateevs hated him till his last day.

If I continue discussing with this punk, he will only elongate arguments with English. The record shows this ITK specialises in buffoonery and being a fool season in, season out. How can Nateevs condemn what Chelsea fans have already absolved and turned to legends whilst always backing failures. No need to reply this fool anymore. We know his history of foolishness.

The eediot is always trying to throw dirt on RDMs reign but when I get home I will quote the eediot said Benitez would prove about RDM. How did we go from hailing Emenalos work to claiming there is no proof he is allowed to use the gents at Cobham, just to dissociate the TECHNICAL DIRECTOR from the failure of his poorly put together squad and the failure of the manager who he thought most understands his vision. nateevs: Plus your idea of an unbalanced squad is your idea. It doesn't mean it is true because you say it. This is the same defense and midfield that has won trophies between 2010 and now. Apart from Meireles and Essien, (both who didn't play a large parts in last season's eventual success) there's been no departure of consequence. We didn't hear this unbalanced squad 5h1t last season, this season it's a never ending tune.

The squad is not unbalanced, it just lacks depth.
Such is your foolishness and tactical naivety, you expected the same midfield who found success in previous set -up of 10 men behind the ball to be adequately equipped to play the new style when the midfield is completely devoid of pace and the only midfielder with pace (Ramires) is completely devoid of any midfield skills whatsoever.

Furthermore, there is no need telling me balance is a figment of my imagination when Chelsea have been conceding bucketload of goals with first 11 or substitutes since August. In addition, your foolishness in claiming this "lack of balance" is an afterthought is exposed by my bringing up in the subject in May, which you argued against borne out of your tactical naivety, a foolishness which has been exposed and which A-40 called out as me seeing the problems from inception, leading you to backtrack.

Whilst a fool like yourself can claim otherwise to cover your prior stoopidity, there is no doubt bar Torres, the subject of midfield choices is the most talked about subject, leaving blinkered fools like yourself who argued that we had a good midfield in May to throw up hands by September and call for Luiz to be tried in that position. The season was only one month old when bombaclaats realised their midfield was inadequate and started kicking off suggestions. Nobody was injured then, so it definitely wasn't a question of squad depth. The shortsighted fools were the first to scream about balance, yet backtracking now.

In another display of eediocy, you claimed Emenalo handed list to Roman and Roman picked Oscar and Hazard but no strong central midfielders. Your desperation is becoming evident. Did Roman also pick the tens of millions worth of talent that Emenalo has purchased only to send out on loan?. An eediot had a budget, he spent £73m on Oscar, Hazard, Marin and Moses. He was even buying the likes of Oscar to send him out on loan. If Emenalo had no control of his budget, how come he buys players unknown to Roman to send them out on loan and how come he could push through last minute deal for Moses. Yet some goof wants us to believe his hands are tied.

An eediot who saw no problem with the midfield at season start now sees problem with the midfield and is shifting the blame to Roman rather than admitting that Emenalo screwed up his midfield ab initio.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 10:38pm On Feb 02, 2013
nateevs: We hail Emenalo's successes because we can see what he has done. He's signed good players. What we don't agree with is your claim that he refused to or lacks the acumen to build a balanced squad. A simple scenario as "having asked but being refused the opportunity to balance the squad" cannot be proven. Therefore, such opinion can only be expressed as just what it is "an Opinion" and should not be forced down our throats.

You are hurt that we don't accept your opinions as facts. No one is absolving anyone of failure, we just ask you to provide undiputable proof that the failure lies at the feet of the accused. How hard is that if you are so sure?

It was RDM's fault that and no one is shifting the goal post. Now as we fail to consolidate on our position, it is Benitez's fault as well. That is consistency in argument.

As I have stated previously, if anything at all, any case that can be made is the case of squad depth, not balance. And the lack of squad depth is consequence of our refusal over the years of to include players from the academy, which if you ask me, is clearly not Emenalo's fault.
You talking absolute nonsense.

You "can see that he's signed good players " but "no evidence that he is responsible for an unbalanced squad "

What a mumu talk. Isnt the purpose of signing players to build a squad to compete?

To take it to the extreme, a technical director when given a budget can sign 10 Cristiano Ronaldos but have no midfield or defence, yet some eediots would be here to tell us he did a good job with his his budget "because he signed good players "

Were you not the same eediot hailing Emenalos signings in the summer and arguing with Ritchboy when he told you any balanced team would smash through your weak midfield? You and Emenalo are brothers in eediocy. Fantasists!

nateevs: Unless you can prove with facts, whose job is what, with concrete evidence of autonomy of decisions, the point about Emenalo is moot. No one should act as though they have inside infomation. Not even fellas like Jason Cundy, Graeme Le Saux et al who have close ties to the club make claims in the media with certainty about who does what when it comes to Chelsea.

In times of disaster, people always look for others to blame. Repeat it a few times and others may start to believe. Unless absolute proof can be presented, no one should give the point of view a second look. It's another attempt at feeling more important.
coogar: ibime is a liar - he would say anything to back his ijaw-analysis!

Of course you guys are making sense with all these.

Same guys went from hailing all Emenalos successes in the transfer market to claiming that Bruce Bruck was behind all of it. Happy to give credit fir the positive but absolve him from the failures. Why didn't Nateevs credit Bruce Bruck or Roman with the signing of De Bruyne and Belgian keeper, yet blame them for Emenalos complete and utterly catastrophic failure in balancing his squad. I told you guys, Emenalo is a scout, not a director. He is clueless tactically on how players strengths fit together.

At first it was RDM fault, but now it's all gone Pete Tong, it's Eugene Tennenbaum to blame. Although Benitez was supposed to "exonerate Emenalo" , but all of a sudden Ron Gourlay has appeared from nowhere to exonerate him under excuse of "we don't know the division of labour "

It's been pretty obvious for some time that Emenalo is a top shot caller. The amount of times Benitez referred to Emenalo's instruction in his press conference should let everyone know. With the exception of Torres, Emenalo has absolute say in who needs to be bought and which positions need filling. He is a failure.

My only question is how far Emenalo?

Is he not stupid or what?

Did he create a balanced squad?

Did he leave the team with a solid defensive midfield?

Did his favourite switchback tactician Benitez exonerate him or did Benitez face the same problems Emenalo created for RDM and performed even worse?

I will not drop Emenalo issue until boys confess he messed up his squad this season, then had the temerity to be constantly haranguing RDM before telling Benitez he has created a great squad of players and he believes Benitez can bring the best out of them.

Am I being unpatriotic or is Emenalo not the doofus I painted him out to be since the summer?

debosky: Abeg bring your stats about goals conceded with/without Mikel - in the last three games 7 goals conceded. cheesy
I am sure the stats are still in favour but unfortunately I'm on the road now so I leave those sitting in front of computer to do the comparison. If anything the last 4 games should show us how poor Ramires is in central midfield vis a vis Romeu and Luiz rather than serve to exonerate Mikel who conceded a basket.

Meanwhile bring your stats about Benitez and Torres. An eediot who told us all sort of nonsense in November about Benitez and Torres shining coming here to talk nonsense like the usual obnoxious fool you are.

debosky: Hehehe. . . . so guys paid ££'s per week to deliver can't do so because they aren't motivated? cheesy

Yet Chelski have been firing managers at will since Ranieri, yet this is the ONLY time the players won't be motivated? cheesy

Trust Ibime to come up with asinine excuses.
Excuses? I want Chelsea to lose so I definitely don't need to make excuses. They should continue losing!!!

Meanwhile how far for Benitez and Torres? What was that nonsense you told us in November. Is Emenalo still a saint? Mscheeew!!!

There's only one Di Matteo!!!

mithel: we miss mikel, end of story,we concede against juventus, athleticohuhformidable opponents, not qpr, southampton, swansea, appreciate the guy abeg, now he is absent, why arent things betterhuh
Nonsense. You only saying this cos Chelsea has no DM. That boy Ramires definitely not! Mikel was on pitch against Westham, Reading and many others when we conceded 2+. And back then, players were motivated. This. recent issue only started when Luiz got injured cos Ramires is just not it. Before that, Mikel was on bench over a month with no one missing him when Romeu then Luiz taking his place.
