ojoawo: Criously?? I was jes kidding about naa, lolzzzz

But he did beat you twice and by popular opinion adjudged the best back den on NL. and by the way you mentioned it you feared him (right here on flow for rank) wen it comes to text battling... guess I took my cue from dat.
Nah he beat me once. Our first battle I freestyled cos I didn't know I was facing a monster cos he was new here. I woulda battled him again but he didn't stick around too long. The ninja brought his whole lifetime of rhymes to battle me whilst I was battling ninjas undefeated once every week. He ran out of steam and couldn't defeat Mailmalc just like that ninja Prekky who came here shining but started dropping levels after few rhymes. So no, he was never acclaimed the best. My verse against DBR would have bested him. But I give it to ninja though, he can beat me but I can also beat him . . . all depending on the variables. I could say the same about Mikuz or DBR although with Streetwize you have to be truly on A game. But when it comes to consistency and the full package of emceeing, Streetwize would be honoured to be put on same pedestal as Ibi. No boasting, just true talk. You can't compare this:

Mikuz and Illscripts, post your FB battle here, lemme have a look and give my two cents. Not every battle is decided by credible voters.

OJo, get it established. Streetwize my biggest fan, always asking me for collabo but I wasn't enthused with the quality of his audio spitting. So no, you can't compare us both. That would be an insult to my person! wink

lalaboi: I'm waiting for the transfer window. Want to see if this person sanctioning transfers actually has an iota of opolo.

Apart from getting rid of Torress, it would mean getting a new striker. who? Falcao? Or rather give Lukaku his chance?
Attacking midfield area is fine! if we get anymore, i will just sigh a big sigh! with all the bokun yakata we have in the club and on loan.
Defensive Mid has been a bother cos Romeu has been injured all through but has he proven himself? and they made a mistake in sending Essein on loan. What happens when he's back? Wont he feel betrayed enough to leave the club or will the next manager talk him into staying? We also have the problem of lampard! he stays, he's got to play, where? Infront of the pivot? is he any better than Mata or oscar at present? managers dont seem to think so but he's played in the double pivot positon and scored loads which makes you wonder if he's actually pulling his weight defensively?
I believe we need a proper DM tho but at the expense of whom? Mikel? romeu? lampard? ramires (who's not a DM but has found himself there on numerous occasions).

Defence wise, we are solid at Right Back! with Wallace in(most likely going on loan). Left back is a bother cos mr Bertrand isn't up to Cole's standard yet. Center back needs more cover cos i'm not a fan of having Ivanovic to cover which has proven to be another mistake judging by Ivanovic's poor performances at CB. But we got Bruma coming back, but will he be handed a chance? or sold? he's not played that much hamburg this season plus i dont think he's still interested in chelsea. Kalas? sent on loan again?

We have all this players we bought with some not-so-little amount of money and all they have done is gone on loan! what is the essence of buying all this players? the person sanctioning all this transfers, as he got a plan? It doesnt look like it!
Forget Bruma, the guy is a disaster.

Van Aanholt is potentially better than Bertrand but I have no problem at all with Bertrand as no2 leftback. Not many clubs could boast a deputy leftback as good as him, certainly not Alex Buttner or any of the clowns our rivals have been parading so Bertrand is good for me!

Chalobah right now is more suited to our team than any of the clowns parading in DM but I would send him on loan to premiership club next season and buy a substantive DM. . . but definitely not the slow cumbersome and lumbering Fellaini who some clowns think is panacea to Chelsea problem.

Kalas is ready to be deputy rightback from what I'm seeing.

I would sign ninja like James Mcarthur to be the forward thinking member of the pivot or if he's available, or my favourite young midfielder right now, Marco Veratti but I thinks we cannot afford to buy what a rich man doesn't want to sell.

In DM I would go for cheaper option like Ettiene Capoue. Can't think of many others right now but last summer I wanted ninjas like De Jong and Dembele.

And I would definitely sign Nani without thinking twice for the right wing.

Whilst our former youth academy player Jack Cork has impressed me greatly this season and is not beyond consideration for a squad position as a body in midfield.

Oh, and Lampard and Oscar are not mate in the no8 position even now but we looking to the future I guess. 4-3-3 is not cool anymore so I hear

His arrival at Chelsea has also helped to recruit two Nigerian internationals eg Moses and Omeruo. It's a pity Nigerians do not want fellow Nigerians to do well. Bad belle .

Good evening sensible nairalanders, please when is the right time/best time for a young man to have his own apartment and leave his parent house, not in the context of marriage but on the context of independence!!!!
Stay with your parents as long as you can so far as you are saving your money.

A lot of guys have been "independent" for a long time with nothing to show for it, because after settling bills and making a few runs they don't save nada.
Education › Re: Is Mathematics Really Important? by Ibime(m): 11:28pm On Mar 27, 2013
Math is necessary for implementation and application. It's like the framework of Physics and other Sciences.
But it isn't taught very well in Nigerian schools. They teach students to pass exams rather than truly learning. But really, math is quite interesting.
You are wrong darling. Maths is taught very well in Nigerian schools, a lot better than it is taught in European schools. It is only when you get to University level that European schools catch up with their Nigerian counterparts and then overtake them due to better use of ICT for computing algorithms and decision analysis etc. Other than that, Nigerian secondary schools are head and shoulders above anything to be found in Europe when it comes to MATHEMATICS!

@ topic,

Maths is certainly very important in all endeavours and many people have made uninformed decisions in life due to poor Mathematical background. Take one girl at my office who is on 50k and was offered 75k by another company which was even closer to her house and a good step up in her CV. She told me she turned it down because her and her new husband are trying for a baby and the other company offer no maternity pay for the first year whilst our company offer full maternity pay for 6 weeks only, and 10% for the next 7.5 months. I simply told her that all she would have had to do was to save the difference in salary for 12 weeks in order to make up the 6 week maternity difference, whilst a further 1.5 months of saving the difference in salary will cover the full 7.5 months @ 10% salary. Just an example of poor application of Maths in everyday life.

Fork me!!!

Don't get me wrong, Mikuz is the best with the puns and funny lines, but I haven't seen a ninja as aggressive in his battle raps as Illscripts since Streetwize!

Many ninjas have dropped rhymes on here over the years but there is no ninja I thought I wouldn't eat in a battle if I bring my aggressive battle game except Streetwize where I could not be certain if I would win just because he had no time for lol lines, only aggressive punches that aim directly at your head. Now I would fit illscripts among that category potentially. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't mean one guy is better than the other, just that some ninjas style is built for battling and they are more aggressive in belittling their opponents.

Some of the illest emcees have graced these pages like DBR and Mikuz but I always felt they lack certain aggressiveness when it comes to real battle. I can say it would be an honour to battle a pure battler like Illscripts if I could find some time in ma diary.

The emotional ninjas in the Torres camp are very quick to pounce on any striker competing with Torres. Lest you forget how Sturridge was constantly harangued by certain emotional ninjas when he plays 15 minutes at the end of a match, and could barely put 200 minutes together in 5 months of football. Those same ninjas will not come back now to confess that Sturridge is 1 million% better than Torres. They were proponents of the same line of thinking that chased a perfectly good striker out of the club for a £100m black hole. (wages+transfer)

Since Demba arrived at Chelsea, he's been 1000% better than anything Torres has offered in 3 seasons. His foot was barely under the table when emotional ninjas started making silly points. No need to argue with these ninjas because one thing we know for sure is that these emotional ninjas are ephemeral in their arguments and will shift arguments when the obvious truth becomes established. Have we not seen enough flipflopping and ephemeral arguments from these emotional shekpe loverboys all season? They went from telling us Torres does not fit in with Lampards first time passes, to telling us Torres will shine with MaZaCar behind him, even telling us after Newcastle game that now we have ninjas like Hazard who understand Torres movements. Then they told us MaZaCar play too much tippy tappy and Torres only thrives on "vertical first time passes" (which is Lampards speciality in the first place). Now the story is that Chelsea midfield is too greedy and the inverted wingers are not built for the striker to thrive (as if Chelsea is the only team playing 4-3-2-1 with inverted wingers in Europe)

So please no need to argue with these ninjas because grounds may shift once again. All Chelsea fans bar emotional loverboys want Demba Ba in the team, and would like to see him given proper status as the club's no1 striker, unlike Sturridge and Lukaku whose confidence was battered and chased out of the club by Torres' corrupt preeminence

So when I talk about my young friend, he has done all that plus beat his popsie, walking the street attacking total strangers during his episodes and even poured kerosene all over the house threatening to burn it when he was sent back to Naija. Luckily we have him stable on drugs after 4 or 5 long stints in the hospital. As I speak to you now he is on his way to my house right now to spend the night, even though I know he is the kind of guy that could get violent if he is not on his meds and I have a wife to protect, so no I have not given up on him. This in contrast to the writer who I believe is suffering from depression, what I consider a phase of her life which will pass as everyones does, but has gone down the route of drugs etc. Her situation will change with the right social conditionson and the passing of time not chemical dependencies and overruminating on her current state. One thing she might not fully grasp is that the mind is like the body, the same way it deteriorates is the same way it heals itself. As most on the thread have rightly pointed out, her situation is not uncommon and many have traversed that road and are perfectly fine now without labelling themselves as suffering from such and such condition (which is only temporary) or depending on drugs. My hope is that she will not carry this "mentally ill" identity on her head for life.

Unfortunately this chicks mental illness is believing that she has a mental illness. There are many people who have been through sad, painful and isolated periods in their life, and in my experience the only ones who stay that way are the ones who take "happy" drugs.

Pls let's talk about the real mad people ie the ones who suffer from Schizophrenia. I have one young boy a family friend suffering from it and it seems his situation is incurable. Does anybody have experience of overcoming this issue?
