larride:I've responded |
WhoDeyHause:Suarez, Zidane, Roy Keane, Rijkaard and co have done worse and you don't see anyone questioning their professionalism. Below is Rijkaard spitting at Rudi Voller. Suarez bites, Drogba and Zidane headbutt, but they give 100% in training Most sons of ex pros don't even make it pro cos they are born with silver spoons. I went to school with one, Mark Lee, son of Colin Lee, former pro and Wolves assistant manager. He thought he was gonna be a footballer and had Wolves academy spot, but he was a lazy boy, and wasn't even top 3 player in our school year. Lilian has two sons who have made it to the highest level, meaning they put in plenty work at youth level and had good guidance. It takes a lot of work and dedication to go pro and when you see a rich boy going pro, it's usually because he wants it bad, not driven by poverty or hunger. You will see that behaviour in the Maldinis, Redknapps, Lampards, Alonso, Thiago and Rafinha, Vialli, Kaka and co, and you barely hear complaint from their coaches. 99% of pros kids don't make it cos they don't have that hunger. If you see one that made it, just know he has discipline and the right guidance to navigate any disciplinary situation, like how Lilian quickly cautioned him, Marcus apologized immediately and accepted one month wages fine without argument even though he said the spit was unintentional. Even the boy name Marcus is chosen after Marcus Garvey while his brother Kephren, who is on verge of France squad, is named after an Egyptian Pharaoh so you know Lilian is not some dumb father. He was known for his discipline and intelligence as a player, held most Caps for France, and also a UNICEF ambassador. These boys are from good family.

WhoDeyHause:That's minor heat of the moment stuff. I thought you were gonna say he is always late for training like Dembele, fighting with coaches etc This is the good parental guidance I'm talking about as regarding that spitting incident. Sons of ex pros are usually very professional. As for Benzema, he's the one with disruptive behaviour in that French team and many of the senior pros wanted him out.

seankafor:Daily Loud. Is that a marijuana website? Make una calm down. USA won't go out of their way to deligitimise the elected President of the most populous black nation and cause instability where there need be none. Nigeria security wahaleux is already too much, they will work with the Govt that the Nigerian democratic system produces Funny how you people always run to USA when you feel cheated in your elections. I wonder whether Russia or China give a shit about whether the leader of a country is democratically elected or not |
timbros:What's Gary Neville doing there? I can't choose between the other 3. All World Class. I will ask you to make Lahm an option at leftback and choose him there, then come back and toss coin between Cafu and Alves for right back, though I'm leaning toward Alves for the assists. |
afrodoc2:Ah yes, of 1998 UCL fame |
Leyqute:Can name all except the bottom left guy. Who is he? |
WhoDeyHause:How can Thuram move sluggishly when he is a former winger? Man has power, pace and speed and can dribble. I tend to favour strikers with physicality of no9 but history as wingers, that's why I liked players like Suarez and Arnautovic cos these players can make things happen for themselves, not waiting for service. Are there incidents of bad behaviour? Care to share? In my experience, I tend to find children of ex-footballers to be quite professional because they have good guidance from their fathers. |
Ballzproblem2:I wonder why they all keep raising the same problem to fix GK, DM and Striker Nice talks from both candidates. I will only add RW to this list For striker, they should take the cheap option and go for Marcus Thuram on free transfer. Tired of weak strikers that can't make things happen on their own
|
Ballzproblem2:Enrique looks like he knows Chelsea problem. He is asking for exactly what we need, not more ninny CAMs
|
Capaldi:KB and Odegaard are CMs Muller and Bruno are the only AMs there, and only Muller's team is successful from those 2 CM is 4-3-3 AM is 4-2-3-1 There is nothing like free role in football if you want to be successful or unless you play in Bayernliga |
Ballzproblem2:Mount has been playing wings for Chelsea if you didn't notice |
Ballzproblem2:You need to be physical (very good speed) to adapt to the wings. Felix and Havertz don't have that To adapt to CM, you have to be technical or physical or both. A CM technique is different from an AM technique. A CM technique is about never losing the ball in a variety of situations. Bruno Fernandes and Havertz are example of an AM who will never have that CM technique. Bernardo, Wijnaldum and Iwobi are examples of those who can adapt. We will see when Nkunku land. Also the way you press is very different in both positions |
andrew444:It depends on your timing, luck and support too Arteta could have been waffed many years ago and Kompany nearly took Anderlecht to relegation |
Ballzproblem2:Successful for himself or the club? Let him not be like Ozil and Coutinho that will break assist record while their club are going nowhere Anyway he is a black man, I trust he has the physicality to adapt to CM or wings successfully as needed, unlike the weakling CAMs we are seeing |
Ballzproblem2:You will always take 3 strikers to tournament anyway so all 3 of them should fight for one spot, with Osimhen as the main man and the other two as backup There are games you will need to bring on Kelechi when you are creating chances and strikers are rushing their shots, because Kelechi is the calmest striker in the box, that take his time to place his shot |
zeusis:Kelechi is just fine as substitute for Osimhen |
andrew444:While your team is changing back, leprous fingers are forcing CAM upon CAM on Chelsea and we are seeing the result I grew up in an era where the teams with no CAM are successful (Chelsea, Manure, Barcelona) , while the team that pack CAM are useless (Arsenal and Madrid) And leprous fingers keep forcing CAM on Chelsea. Even Liverpool had to get rid of Coutinho and Madrid had to get rid of Ozil to be successful, using the 3 forwards and 3 CM format Fools on this thread should keep hyping useless CAM position till we finally turn to Arsenal of those days |
Ballzproblem2:In the last AFCON, Aribo played as well as any CM I have seen in SE in over a decade Midfield should be Ndidi, Aribo and Iwobi Let Moses Simon and Lookman fight for left wing while Tella/Olise/Chukwueze fight for right-wing Kelechi should go fight with Osimhen at no9 |
andrew444:He is primarily a right winger, same as Chukwueze You go soon wake up from this AM nonsense that is befalling lazy Nigerians and foolish Chelsea fans Your team was successful with 3 CMs and 3 forwards, it's when you went chasing specialist AM like Coutinho and Griezmann that you fell down Any AM that can't function as a CM is a waste of space. Check Pep team, all his central attacking midfielders are primarily CM (KDB, Gundogan, Bernardo). Olise can't function as a CM, so that AM talk is a continuation of the foolishness we see on this thread week in, week out |
andrew444:That was then, reality done dey set in
|
andrew444:Chukwueze has been playing nonsense since Afcon Before that he was injured If you check well, he has never performed for Naija. 5 years is enough, let someone else try. |
Ballzproblem2:Olise rejected Algeria because he told them he is waiting for Nigeria, Algeria fans started abusing him. Of course if France jump in first, he is not stúpid Nathan Tella also has been begging for SE shirt I would not mention these players unless they showed willingness to play for Naija, that's why I didn't mention Eberechi Eze |
andrew444:Chukwueze dey perform nonsense on that Cocoyam pitch, let's try something else |
Olise with three assists. Nigeria should sign up him and also Nathan Tella Throway that Chukwueze who has never been the same since his injury |
seankafor: ![]() I also used to get random shares from like 10 years ago when we used to argue Jogginghoe matter |
afrodoc2:And put red light on your phone after 8pm etc |
Exonerate1:Shut up clown And you didn't notice any of these under Potter? You've got your Felix, now talking another nonsense. So na Zarkaryen you dey blame now I've told you clowns, your CAM philosophy is a scam. You claimed Havertz was the creative AM we needed, you got him, you claimed Felix was the creative AM, you got him, you are still searching for AM. You already have Nkunku to come, ChukwuEmeka and many others, you are still searching for AM. Keep looking for phantom pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Your weakling philosophy is dragging Chelsea to the pits. It's funny how we created the most chances recently just using the drive of Kante and his ability to win duels, same Kante you hate. All that needs to happen is your two weaklings need to start winning duels and 1 v 1s, they are getting the ball enough in forward areas, no excuses. But like I said, a weakling will always be a weakling You are a weakling, that's why you gravitate toward them |
A001:You are forgetting we have had international break for 2 weeks Add Patson Daka shot from outside the box vs Leicester, that is 4 long range shots conceded in little over 4 weeks |
andrew444:We are talking about long range shots. Stay out of it if you don't know the conversation Thibaut barely concede long range shots unlike Kepa that concedes one almost every week |
A001:I just gave you 3 examples that happened literally within the last month Yes, he has improved in short range, but he is still conceding one long range shot almost every week Infact I guarantee that opponents are planning and encouraged to try these shots |
FBS: A001:Does Thibaut Courtiis concede long range shots every week This is the selective sampling I'm talking about "Oh only 30% of keepers would save that" When you apply that every week over several weeks, you find that you have a goalkeeper underperforming all taller goalkeepers in long range shots stopping Courtois may concede one of Kepas goals, but there are others he won't concede, then you'll find another keeper that will concede the ones Courtois will save In probability, that's like applying an OR function, the probability keeps increasing "Man Utd to defeat City AND Arsenal" is a lower probability than "Man Utd to defeat City OR Arsenal" Courtois may concede Nunes goal OR Skipp goal OR McGinn goal, he won't concede Nunes goal AND Skipp goal AND McGinn goal In all 3 of these goals I just mentioned, you will find a probability to absolve Kepa in each isolated incident, but not all 3 together Kepa is an ANDroid, a guaranteed probability
