We had moratorium on evictions in UK for 6 months and mortgage freeze for 6 months. I even took mortgage freeze for 3 months to build my cash reserves for the pandemic even though I wasn't on the chopping block. It was no questions asked.

We also have furlough scheme here where the Govt pays 80% of your wage if your company promise not to lay you off during the pandemic. You'll be sent home and paid your wage, and the company can reactivate your employment when the pandemic subsides. This has been running since March and 450 people in my company, about 8% of employees are on furlough.

We also have flat minimum wage in UK although cities like London mandate that any company holding a Government contract in London must pay a London living wage which is an uplift on the minimum wage.

This is all under a Conservative Government in UK. They are even doing more in France and other countries. Pandemic is seen as a war-time situation which calls for deep commitment. The billions we spend on stimulus here go directly to the affected. You people are spending trillions on stimulus, I don't know what on. Your stimulus are being given to Financial Institutions to create a bubble in asset classes and Financial markets that have no correlation to company earnings. The only people who will benefit from that are those who know how to trade markets, and short-term 401k bumps which might come crashing when these inflated asset prices pop.

I don't know why America must be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century and make like what people take for granted in Europe is deep socialism.

Omo I thought about what you said and cashed out at 38 last night. That pressure at 40 looks insurmountable for the time being. The timing looks like it was auspicious the price seems to be dropping down again towards 35. I may re-enter at 33 and see where it goes.

Watch it closely though. Something happened last night when Biden announced the $1.9trln stimulus. Wall Street immediately shorted all futures that's why they all started dropping at 2.30pm when Wall Street opened. They ran it down to get a good entry point and I can see them starting to run it up to maximise their gain. In the long term Biden stimulus may provide impetus past $40k and one shouldn't miss that train so I'm considering revising my entry point up to $33.5k or $34k. In the meantime, I've just been swing trading ADA which is stuck in a volatility range of + to - 8% daily. I set buy orders for when it drops like 5% and set take profit as soon as it makes 3%. So far so good I'm making the 3% daily. This Wall Street shorting just clocked me in again on ADA and EOS for the same thing and now moving in my direction. I took the below 3% trades while sleeping last night and been taking 3% daily since Monday.

Ok, thats good news. That Dorsey tweet may provide it good impetus plus the grayscale one. I know it won't drop much past $32k in the short term as the Institutional whales who all came in on 4th January won't want to leave without profit so they will at least scalp between $32k and $40k for a while till they get their money back . It's whether more whales are incoming at $40k to drive it further up. I may hold my ADA and XLM a bit longer then than take profit. They have more upside as they are 50% away from the high they achieved on 2nd January and there is confidence in them. I'm not in BTC at the moment. I put a buy order at $32k waiting for it to drop but it only dropped to $32.3k so never clocked me in. I go ride ADA and co instead if this keeps going up.

A lot of institutional whales bought in at $32k and I think it will swing between $32k and $40k for a short while unless there is some big news or big institutional investors investors onboarding as $38k-$40k seems to be profit taking territory.

I've been scalping little bits from Cardano (ADA) steadily since Monday by buying when Bïtcoin drops to $32k and selling when Beeteecee reaches $38k. I may hold ADA medium term if BeeteeCee doesn't drop back toward $32k overnight though

I was speaking primarily about Twitter after all they initiated Trump's ban across other platforms. I don't know too much about Mark Zuckerberg's dealings and political leanings. But I know Jack is a bit more of a conscious cat or a SJW if you will.

Zuckerberg wanted to step out of policing politics on his platform simply because of the cost of doing so (hiring a lot more fact checkers, Facebook police etc) and for the fact that it would absolve him of the Cambridge Analytica scandal by taking a position that we just don't police.
