I have said it here before. Any Chelsea fan hoping for Chelsea to qualify for ucl through the league will be disappointed. Even if we had beaten liverpool today, we would have still lost some other matches. Europe league is the only route that look possible.
With the way Arsenal flogged Napoli in Europa, that one no sure oh!

raumdeuter:
He got injured in October to January not like he had a decade injury
He's had 3 consecutive knee injuries in 18 months.

Benjamin Mendy had 2 consecutive knee injuries and came back in February also but has not been playing, not because Delph or Zinchenko are better than him.

Knee can take months or even years to settle into pain free range of movements even after you are given the all clear. It took me nearly 2 years after 2 consecutive knee surgeries to be able to play weekly, and it still comes with pain for the next 3 days. I know what I'm talking about.

Wanyama has been back from injury since February and today was the first time he's playing 90 minutes when main players were rested
February to now is 6 weeks. You don't come back from long layoff and start playing. He is not coming back from hamstring strain. Dude has been virtually injured the last 2 seasons.

Azpilicueta just shadowmarked a runner on a 3 on 1 counter, allowing Sparta Prague a free shot on goal from outside the box.

From VVD to Bertrand to Azpi, every professional defender keeps doing the same thing as per what they were trained to do.

"But is he a UCL and World Cup winner?"

No record of such

Even you can add AVB,

Arrigo Sacchi

Avram Grant

Carlos Alberto Perreira
Not on Wikipedia, but if you read deeper, they played at a good amateur level. Sacchi for example played for Baracca Lugo who have had stint in Serie C before. You can't just wake up and be a football coach if you don't know the fundamentals from a playing career at a high amateur level. This is much different from journalists who started writing about football because they are from privileged background and can write, not because they know what a midfielder or full back should be doing in certain situations. The only one I would be unsure of is AVB as his parents are millionaires.

What level of football did Leonardo Jardim, Arrigo Saacchi or Carlos alberto perreira play
They would all have played to a high amateur level, not like Oxbridge journalists who write about football and cannot trap ball or raise 50

history has it that mou only played at amateur level.

Okay, i agree that mou was a bad comparison for raum's case. But, it doesn't mean that anyone who didn’t play the game can't know how to analyze the game.

BTW, did sarri ever kick the ball?
Make we know where our problem from start
History does not have anything.

Rio Ave were in Portuguese top league when Mourinho played for them in 1980s, and they had their best ever finish, nearly qualifying for Europe sef.

lol. You Can say he may know more than some, but all of the sites can't be wrong at the same time.

I am not sure a team will have a great match like he said and be getting that kind of rating in the link he gave.

Moreover, that raumdeuter does not know how to play football does mean he cannot know how to watch and analyze the game [even though he doesn't know how]. Mourinho never made it to professional football, but i believe he knew how to analyze football before he got trained as a coach, if not he wouldn't have been successful at coaching.
Who told you Mourinho never played football? Mourinho played pro football. All these guys played football at least to semi pro level, were in academies at one point, or played to a very high amateur level. Once you play to that level, your football knowledge dey kamkpe.

Mourinho played football for Rio Ave and Belenenses in Portuguese league.

i am not sure you know ball better than those who write for bbc and Sky sports.
Actually he does. Most of the writers no know ball. I remember in Uni days, it's always those wey no Sabi play ball, who might be substitutes for the 5th team that will be doing all the Sports reporting in the Uni paper. Most of these journalists are Oxbridge educated toff's. The only one I respect his knowledge is Martin Samuel.

Madrid's BBC of those days were greater and my team handled them well so there's nothing special about Liverpool's front 3.

As for City, they couldn't draw a Tottenham team that I ràped 4-2 @ their home.

So ki ni big deal?
We are not in those days. We are talking of this year. Your team look quite average TBH with the exception of Messi.

Then UCL is a bigger shiit because Barcelona is strolling to the title without any defeat so far.
I don't think you can challenge top2 in England if you came to EPL. You will stroll to 3rd in EPL. Playing Liverpool or City is the litmus test.
