There is an online Oil and Gas course by the Institute of French Petroleum School, supported by Total. Search google for it. You may benefit from the downloadable modules. Cheers.

I am currently doing the IFP course. In the second week now. Thanks so much.

Kindly notify me if you come across any other one later. I appreciate you reply.

This Finnish people re funny ooo. Wen I send a plea letter to him, he said I shldn't worry. That he have contacted both the immigration and d embassy. But if dey ve issue, they will back to her. That d certificate is going to the Finnish immigration office straight.
That's whr I am now.

Dont worry. Just explain well to them at the embassy. That's not a big deal.

They are a 'one-way traffic' people. They hardly change their minds. So he no go send am be dat.

All the best sir!

boss abeg, is it advisable to include my salary account for self sponsor 2 note dat i dont leave money in my salary account atall. presently na jus 10k dey inside. abeg, ur view will highly appreciated boss. tanx

Well.....since u have pay slips and money enters frequently its fine to use it...... but its almost empty, means u will make bulk deposits now. So they might still wanna ask where those came from.

Its quite dicey....maybe other bosses give their opinion. All the best sir.

Boss, no vex o...

What do you have to say about this options of accommodation?

.
room in communal apartment / 2r+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 3r+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 4+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 5r+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 6r+kitchen
1 room + mini kitchen, studio
family apartment / 2r+kitchen
.

Does it mean there are apartments with 6rooms and one kitchen? Probably one toilet?

Abeg clarify or even help me make a pick.

Tnx

Yes it means u will share one kitchen and common bath. It might be more than one bath though. Especially for the apartments with 5 or 6 rooms. Studio is just like a room self contained.

I think 3 or 4 r apartments aren't bad. Especially if u will have mostly Finnish roommates. They hardly use the kitchen and very quiet. But those asians ehn...........

@iceberg pls I need a cogent advice. I ve a scholarship of 500 euro per month from my school. So am thinking of getting 2000 euro for my sponsorship acct. Dt will be around 500k. Shld I deposit only 500k in my acct?
Secondly, I want to use a uncle of mine but we don't share the same surname,i want to use him as my sponsor. How can it be possible? Pls house I need urgent answer to my 2 questions. Thanks

At least 500k. Dont know the current exchange rate. Just make sure that scholarship amount + the amount in ur acct is not less than the amount they specified when converted to naira. I think its 6720 ...not sure.

Yes u can use uncle. Its just always easier to use an immediate family because they will.be asking annoying questions like hw u r related, y is he sponsoring u, bla bla bla. But dont worry, most people still get it and the fact that u have a scholarship already makes ur case easier.

Cheers!

Thanks for this. I understand you now. Finally, are you suggesting the car sale route as option A and the sponsor route as Option B? Or you're saying I should go with both. i.e sell d car, put d money in with proof, then put half the balance in my account and d remaining half should come in from d sponsor's account? I hope u understand my question? It's the final question. Thank you in advance.

Am suggesting u use both. Sell the car, have all the proofs. Then a majority of the balance should come from your sponsor. Hopefully the sponsor also has a stable source of income with good cash flow prior to now, then u shld be fine.

Yeah, I see am. I'm seriously considering that too. Thanks for the advice bro, I appreciate it.

You should actually do that. Provide proof of ownership and other car particulars etc.
And make a document regarding the sales too. Like a signed agreement.

For the rest, u need to plan that well. Because u cant just use anyone as sponsor. The sponsor's account also has to be active with a substantial amount in it( after transfering money to ur account) Sponsor must have stable source of income preferably someone that has a salary account. Just consider all options and plan well. They dont waste time in denying once they see any discrepancy.

Since u have up to 2 m. Just put 1.5m in ur account and the rest in ur sponsor's. Though i usually advise about 1m in sponsor's acct as well, just to be safe.

All the best sir.

Please boss what's up with HOAS? They said on their website that we can apply for both furnished and unfurnished apartments, but after having a chat with them, they said Masters Students can only apply for unfurnished apartments that furnished apartments are only for Exchange students. We have to go and buy furnitures ourselves. I hope this won't be difficult to do, arriving in an empty room after a long trip no easy O?

Yes, u will arrive in an empty room except your tutors are very nice and have made arrangements for you. But subsequently, its not hard to get stuffs. You can buy all furnitures in a single place and have them delivered to your house. You can also get for free from people moving out.

Cheers!

Abeg sirkezman and iceberg, abeg am really confused about this "housing types"

2h+k (solu) 44 m² 1 kpl
2h+k(solu/eh) 58,5 m² 1 kpl

1h+k 39 m² 1 kpl

which is better o

h should stand for huone (room)
So shld be 2 rooms + kitchen. Solu means cell. (No fear o...no be kirikiri o)
Summary: 2 rooms shared apartment. You and your apartment mate shares kitchen and most likely bathroom too and possibly a living room. The 'eh' i cant decode.
3rd option is a whole apartment to yourself. You dont need that. Abi u dey carry babe come ni?
Ist or 2nd option dey ok. 2nd option is just more spacious. Just go for the cheapest....lol....no time to waste money. No house is bad here.

Cheers!

na wetin me sef dy think be that, but am still waiting for the student tutor to message me, so I can decide if to take a student hostel or not.

You are considering not taking a student apartment? Pls apply for a student apartment asap. You can pay when you get there. Non-student apartments could be as high as 800euros per month. Some are more. Well..i dont know about cities outside helsinki though. Helsinki guys should apply to HOAS.

#210 bro
seems we can use the admission letter from the email. in one of the docs, it was stated that we can include it. for example uni of oulu doesn't send admission letter through post. just the email copy. @ iceberg and sirkezman will share more light on that.

@cmanforall AIICO bro

Yeah, u can use admission letter sent via email. You could just do a colored printing.

The UEF stuff na advert.
The AIICO stuff na health insurance not travel..

There is nothing more the FG could have done to save the Nigerians on the death row in indonesia{except sending in covert intelligence operatives to break them out of jail,a move which would have been highly suspicious and dangerous}; they were caught breaking the law of another land, they had to face the heavy punishment meted out for such an offence in the land.
RIP to the dead, may God forgive and grant them an heavenly abode.

Of which......I doubt if we have the capability to carry out that kinda covert operation. Even the 'bigger countries' who had their citizens killed dare not try that.

Like u said, they orchestrated their own deaths. RIP to them anyways!

Lool, sorry, na 5000 euro per year

Thats great news!
In a place like that, you dont need up to 400 euros per month. So you wouldn't have to work. You are covered throughout.

Just have max 2000 euros in ur acct here and combine with the scholarship certificate. You will get ur permit in record time.

Congrats sir!

@Olabode, how far with your preparation? Trust it's in top gear now.
@Iceberg and other chairmen, how do we go about the health insurance, what are we to upload on the online application system, since we are not to obtain insurance prior to issuance of RP? Thank you.

Boss, You are to obtain insurance before you apply. I guess you have the wrong info. Two insurance companies are recognized: AIICo and Mutual benefits. Its about 30k for AIICO. I can help with an AIICO guy's number if needed , or you could just go to any of their offices.

Cheers Sir!!

Are u talking about the online application?...If yes, then that option should be correct. I didnt use the online option though so I don't really know how it works. Though I advice u to use it. It speeds up the process. But before u book any appointment with the embassy, make sure you are ready o. Funds and documents wise. Those migri peeps no dey smile o. No room for mistakes.
