European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: John Terry Retires From International Football by icon8: 2:48pm On Sep 24, 2012
So much for a figurative expression! Howdy?
ogugua88: No, he said John Terry has gotten away with murder, which is a figure of speech meaning getting away with something so bad that one expected him to have been caught or punished.

OT: It's about time he left. Not that I expect football players to be models of good morality, but John Terry has a string of offenses. Nothing worth defending in him at all.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: John Terry Retires From International Football by icon8: 2:40pm On Sep 24, 2012
Thanks ooo, my thought exactly!
Remmyode: I thought you said John Terry is a muderer, I was patiently waiting to read in your post which member of your family he killed and he got away with.
This is just the Misery of HATRED. May God forgive you Bro. By the way, Are you Ferdinand? Just curious.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: John Terry Retires From International Football by icon8: 2:38pm On Sep 24, 2012
Are you sure you're alright? I really doubt you are! We are just outsiders? How are you an insider? Pray, tell! JT's always gone away with murder? He must have killed only members of your immediate family for you to be the only person who knows this? And mind you oga, most of those rubbish you listed below are not criminal offences, but civil disobedience. You really need to be schooled: see what half-education has done to you...what a pity!!!
paris10: You guys are just outsiders really. JT is one of the most obnoxious, egoistic mutherfcuuker out there. He's a Mafia and has a family full of criminals.

JT has always gone away with murder. He has never been convicted of any charges brought against him due to his high profile status as England skipper. Yes, he's got over 10 charges of criminal damages!.

The FA has had enough and couldn't defend him any more. They actually did him a favour by allowing his racist slur to go to court. FA knew he was going to get acquitted, which he did. The only problem is, the association of equal opportunity for minorities stick to their gut and wouldn't allow the FA a breathing space. The association demanded a fair hearing citing the Suarez-Evra case.

There was actually enough evidence to convict Terry. It wouldn't take rocket science to know what Terry was saying to Anton Ferdinand. Every TV station in the country agreed that Terry racially abused Anton, except ofcourse, the bias Judge.

In November 2006, JT racially abused Ledley King, but later apologised and was fined 10,000 pounds by the FA. JT crimes were known to the media but told to always shield the then England captain. His mum is a thief, caught stealing 800 pounds worth of clothes from Marks & Spenser.

You want to know more about this guy? Well, here are more..

* Immediately after hearing the news of the September 11 attack, JT was at the airport where he met some Americans visiting England. He then started saying profanity and abusing words to these tourists about the attack.

* January 2002,JT was charged of assault and affray, ofcourse, he was found not guilty.Though he was banned for playing for England during the hearings.

*Again in January 2002, this guy deliberately used the Disabled parking lot for his Bentley. Fined 60 pounds and warned for his behaviour...

*2009, JT took bribe from under cover reporter. Even with evidence, JT was sided by his manager and the FA.

*In 2009 again, JT was reported to have had extramarital affair with Vanessa Perroncel, Wayne Bridge's ex. The High court imposed a super-injunction preventing all media to publish JT length of flings with that lady.

So you have it! They've had enough of covering his a.s.s.

PhonesRe: iPhone 5 Queues Around The World by icon8: 7:30pm On Sep 21, 2012
ogugua88: Lol it doesn't matter what I do. This is how people start losing the meaning of life. The same way people line up for iPhones and other phones is how they do so on Black Friday and during holidays. People die in the process at times, for what? Lol leave me jari. As they're making $1000 for selling a phone, Apple is making at least a $400 profit for every single iPhone 5 they sell. Let me just get my phone and move on with my life. My goal is to be making at least $100,000/yr for the rest of my life, rather than $1000 for one phone.
Hmm...I don leave you oooh!!!
PhonesRe: iPhone 5 Queues Around The World by icon8: 7:23pm On Sep 21, 2012
Really? what exactly do you do, if I may ask?
ogugua88: To them that's a bargain. That's not my definition of a bargain fortunately. I see it as a waste of precious time and life. I can spend those two days in queue being productive.

You can calm down now.
PhonesRe: iPhone 5 Queues Around The World by icon8: 7:21pm On Sep 21, 2012
coogar: £700 = $1000 is not worth it? most people don't make that in a week of 8am - 6pm going to work everyday! their food/drink were provided by apple and they just camped there! it's the easiest way of making money!
I really doubt if she makes money!!!
@Ogugua88: hope you aint in Romney's 47%huh
PhonesRe: iPhone 5 Queues Around The World by icon8: 7:10pm On Sep 21, 2012
You mean that wasn't clear enough for you to understand? Seriously??
Okay, they buy and sell @ double the price (to someone who can't afford to queue and can't wait for the delivery either).
Now, that's the bargain!!! Except you want that translated to Igbo...
ogugua88: They get bargains? Like what?

Bros, no be me sickness dey worry o! Haba, the paragraph was in the OP's epistle and I was enjoying the write-up until I saw the paragraph and I stopped reading immediately. That was just a quote from the original post, not mine. How I go compare Obama with Jonathan nah? Are you too dumb to understand a simple sentence?

Nice attempt, nice effort! Unfortunately, I stopped reading when I saw the paragraph quoted below:
"Relating this to the Nigerian experience while listening to Clinton, I couldn’t see much difference between what the American Democrats want to achieve and what the GEJ government wants to achieve via the Transformation Agenda."

mba emeka: I am no GEJ apologists but the news is entirley false. Her youngest child is at King's college London. He has a caretaker but his mum goes there to check on him. As does his dad too. Please disregard the news.

There he goes again: Names dropping! You knew him and Abacha in your wild dreams, huh?

Billyonaire: I am not holding brief for Jimoh Ibrahim, I knew him after the death of Abacha at VGC, but he was doing his job well as a legal counsel, If I was in his position I would never reject financial gains associated with having friends in higher places. But he seems to me like a nice guy and capitalist in business. Business has its rules and ethics, and I do not think he has contravened those. This world is a paradox of connections and currency, none of which are emotional. Jimoh is a greedy business man and he hasnt contravened any business ethics, he owns Air Nigeria, and he can decide to close it down for ever. The Government is making arrangement to flag another national carrier, lets keep our fingers crossed.

Please who is this apathetic, self-defeatening tabula rasa, and why does he always mouth himself what he's not? Kindly advise him to stick to laundering his paymaster's image here on NL, or better still, shut his trap! Must he always insult people's parents? So much for a BILLIONAIRE...
Billyonaire: Jimoh has invested billions into that Airline, and decided to ground it for 12 months. His reasons are best known to him and the shareholders and not to you haterz. In business, we fail many times. I can count failing in 9 out of 10 business trials, but the success in the remaining one can catapult you into the Eldorado of Wealth. I hate to see people talking trash against someone that should be pitied for a loss. If it was easy to gain Abacha's favor and become a billionaire, why didn't you all or your parents do it. People, please think right.

Dumb Corporation! Graduate Trainee applicants must have graduated within the past 5 years and must not be more than 29 years of age; while Experienced Professionals must have at least 10 years post-NYSC cognate experience. So, what happens to those who graduated more than 5 years ago (and are above 29)but have less than 10 years work experience?

Be it Chancellor or VC,don't let us keep fooling ourselves, what is he looking for again? All the years he has spent in the office as the Exe Gov of Lagos aren't enough for him, holding the office of a school chancellor another post going to be held by him, Lautech for that matter. I wonder what every sectors are turning into in Nigeria and to what yard sticks was he appointed to hold the office? PoliticsRe: Who Killed Funmilayo Ransome-kuti (Fela's Mother)? by icon8: 2:32pm On Aug 24, 2012
Pardon my naivety, but do you have a mother? If No, u're pardoned for this reckless statement. Otherwise, when your mother atains the age of 70, kindly arrange for some rude boys in your area(not soldiers) to throw her out the window of a bungalow(not storey building) and watch the immediate and medium to long term effect! Thanks.
BizBooks: Not to minimize the gravity of the incident but I believe the second floor in this instance
is what is usually known as the first storey. That is not too high. One can survive falls
from such heights even an elderly woman.

I have never heard Fela blame Danjuma for his mother's death. Do you mean Shehu Yar'adua
who Fela frequently mentions?
