Krucifax: We should all stop trying to deny what the reality of the situation is. Yesterday some Nairalanders were putting op posts denying that they are Nigerians etc.

We have just found out that these two are yoruba men born in Nigeria and then emigrated to the U.K! My point is,they are very much Nigerians and we as a nation need to look in the mirror and ask ourselves some very hard questions. Why do we seem to breed some of the worlds most vile characters? Why do we consistently seem to be known for more bad things than good ones. The moral fiber of many Nigerians is very questionable and if you deny it,you are only deceiving yourself as the rest of the world seem to have made their minds up about us.
You real and truthful .

onomeasike: like the north or hate them, they ve brought down this govt(quoting chief ezeife-an igboman),the govt led by gej is alienated by gej because most northerners though wrong, believe he rigged the 2011 election, while they are trying to get over that, his govt increased the pump price of petrol price and the mischief-makers made a political kill out of.fast forward to 2013,the govt sent jets to drop bombs on their land! Those southerners who failed to understand fully the colossal error made by this govt will soon realise. It was in this same nigeria that mend took their struggle to atlas cove in lagos south-west and justified their attack in yorubaland and even called the bluff of yoruba leaders.Boko haram will take their fight to the next level and just like it was with mend attack,it will likely takeplace outside the north and the southerners saying and writing 'kill them all' will hear it.GEJ should not have taken the military option,he was warned enough.for God's sake, militants who took up arms against govt have been rewarded with billions of naira, how do you now say crime does not pay.Or as rightly advanced by northerners,if boko haram are ijaws, the president will not authorize airforce to bomb their base undecided

ckkris: Lagos is where President Jonathan got significant votes from ibos, other easterners, & middle-belt people living there, and the same pattern will be repeated in 2015. No reasonable political calculation can ever rely on yorubas, who culturally like to say yes & no at the same time, and so keep their options open in order to join the winning side.

truth4meal: And to all you singers of young president - how many of you voted ur young comrades who contested for the presidency in other political parties to serve as a form of encouragement and also as a testimony of your sincere want for a young president. How many of you belong to a political party or are u dreaming someone will one day knock your door to offer you the candidature of a party? See we should cover our face in shame that the only tin veritable against Buhari is his age and religion - and not that he is corrupt and insensitive to the plight of the masses. Because Buhari is old I should then vote a clueless GEJ cos he is young? Because Buhari is a northern I should then vote the corrupt GEJ cos he is from the south? So because Buhari is muslim I should vote the visionless GEJ cos he is a "christian"? We need to start thinking and acting like people that sincerely want a positive change. It should be progress over sentiments not the other way round...transforming Nigeria atm is not a child's play I beg to repeat! Sai Buhari!!!
rubbish we want a change . buhari was there before . lets give chance to new breed and besides we dont want power to go back to the north now . other regions should ve a test ot it

chris51: I honestly sympathise with you & your husband. Your relationship before marriage was just infatuation and fun but this is the reality of marriage. We all go thru this stage. I'll be celebrating my 40th next month.
If you want to enjoy your sexual life, you must have an open mind. Remove suspicion from your mind. It takes two to tango.
Think of those good attributes of his that made you marry him. Count yourself lucky to have been the one he chose to marry out of the girls in his life.
Also thank God for the fruit of the womb. Many girls spend years looking for baby, these days.
Please forget your earnings. Don't let anybody deceive you. Make it a task that you must enjoy your relationship. Put yourself in the mood. Read relevant magazines, etc.
Relationship is reciprocal, pray about it, you will overcome.
Goodluck.

Foreign AffairsRe: Rockets Fired From Gaza In To Israel As Obama Visits by iconaus: 11:25am On Mar 21, 2013
Mcdondayan: Rockets fired from Gaza hit southern Israel

Rockets cause minor damage but no injuries in town of Sderot, Israeli police spokesman says.
Two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip have hit southern Israel as US President Barack Obama was making his first official visit to the country in four years, police said.
"One exploded in the backyard of a house in Sderot, causing damage and the second landed in a field," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP news agency on Thursday, referring to a town very close to the Gaza border.
As a presidential candidate in 2008, Obama visited Sderot, which is frequently targeted by rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for Thursday's attack, which came as Obama was in Jerusalem.
Obama was expected to travel to Ramallah on Thursday morning for talks with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas.
It was only the second such rocket attack since the end of a deadly eight-day confrontation between Israel and Hamas in November which ended with an Egyptian-brokered truce that has been almost completely respected.

good
On February 26, Gaza Strip fighters in fired a single rocket which landed near the southern coastal town of Ashkelon in an attack they said was to protest the death of a Palestinian prisoner in Israeli custody following interrogation.
During the eight days of bloodshed in November, which cost the lives of 177 Palestinians and six Israelis, the army said 933 rockets hit Israel, while another 421 were intercepted in mid-air by the US-funded Iron Dome air anti-missile system.
Obama visited the vaunted Iron Dome system shortly after arriving in the country on Wednesday afternoon.

We should protect one another. Igbos are the most persecuted in Nigeria because they live amongst other tribes far away from their hence need more protection. Others tribes who are resident in igboland are protected by igbos as they always go about their daily business with out molestation, harassment or being killed . It should be more of Hausa and yorubas should protect igbos who live with them.

ijaw citizen: Why do you igbos like combining South-South & South-East when such issues are being discussed? You try to create the impression to other nigerians that igbos and other South-south groups are politically and culturally homogenous, and this is very wrong. Stop spreading Biafra propaganda, Niger Delta has come of age, you can't just annex our territory anymore

(quoting Ojukwu;--"the status quo remains the same) Igbos can not PRETEND to be fighting our battles anymore. We are not your Eastern neighbours anymore, is that too difficult to understand?

What we need in southern nigeria is RESPECT for each other's territory, ethnic sovereighty, and Interest. Having said that, I want to point out that Ijaws have nothing against Biafra neither do we have something to do with Biafra.
I doubt your root . You re not from Ijaw land . You are masquarading .Reveal your identity . Your posting is out point . This is southern issue .

I know it isn't all yorubas because I have many great Yoruba friends some of whom have different views from me but will stand with me when it comes down to north and south! The south needs to stand as one strong unit and free ourselves of this northern stanglehold once and for all.

I know we also have our own issues in the south but the northen stranglehold is the first step towards liberating ourselves for good

We have warned that stup1d Amaechi! He is on his own! The south south will not relinquish the presidential ticket for a VP ticket in 2015! Withdraw licenses on oil blocks from whoever? i laugh, even GEJ knows where his powers stop!

Silly comment . Even if you remove PDP and put APC where a northerner becomes the president , nothing will be done . The statusquo remains

They are the untouchables of the PDP! & they accentedd to make even d President who he is today.

The only time such can & will ever happen in Nigeria is if PDP as a whole is removed from power.

But, before then, any body or group making such demands, is only wasting his time.

APC is a tribal party . Hausa and yoruba . For APC to make any significant inroad in 2015 it must make a big sacrifice droping hausa or yoruba president or VP shot. By this i mean either North/ SE ticket or SW/SE ticket or North/SS ticket . North/Sw ticket spells doom for APC because no body will vote for them in SS/SE.

We must start Now to look for a President that is free of so many scandals, if not him it is allies, or wife, or brother or from his state, or what have you, which ever parties that produces the president is fine by me (APC, PDP, APGA, Labour, ANPP,AC,ETC.).
