I've had one in a bowl of pepper-soup. Tastes like fish. I guess they're more fun dead than alive ![]() |
It's very unfortunate that people are been slaughtered in Dafur while the world community debate if it's genocide or not. Please sign the petition to at least help keep the issue in the forefront to encourage a meaningful intervention in Dafur. African Union is incapable of solving Africa's problems, so we have to continue pushing the US and the UN to stop the atrocity going on in Dafur. |
Since this is just a story. She tells the man that she'll go ahead with the marriage, and let bygone be bygone. But then she gradually poisons the man to death with doses of cyanide. And visits mum's grave with a bunch of fresh roses to let her know her death has been vanquished. Good story ending. |

A lot of Igbo communities have outlawed arbitrary high bride price. You're only expected to pay a token amount to preserve the culture. |
1 world series every 86 years for the Red Sox. We can deal with that in the spirit of fairness ![]() |
ALLO:Facts, not gossip. Thank you. |
Divorce is the God-sent insurance into the unpredictable world of marriage. |

Early preparation to cover all your materials and enroll in a preparation course if you're not in a good school, to supplement your school work. |

Kudos to Obi. He won a free and fair "selection". |
I used to think that life without football is hell. But the key to enjoy any sports is to know the rules of the game. If you happen to become a fan of any team or a player, you get the same excitement and heartbreak you get from football. I still rank football as No 1, but football (American), basketball, and baseball gets my adrenalin pumping when my teams are involved (Jets, Knicks and of course the world conquering Yankees). |
Nobody should be naive to think that suddenly, our system of justice is now working. The problem, which still remains, is that our system of government revolves around Aso rock. If you're in the good books of Aso rock, you stay. If not, you're out. Ngige's time at the government had been ticking since he disagreed with the powers that anointed him. He survived this long because Chris Uba bungled the plan to outs him, creating an unnecessary image problem for Obasanjo. Only in Nigeria will you see members of a political party expressing gratitude that justice has been done in removing their governor from power. |
It's your choice but don't take advantage. |
@Passy, I implore you to stay on Nairaland, because we value diverse views. But I'm not going to treat you with with kid gloves especially when you make bold statements like Mr. Allo did without any evidence to back it up. Hope to hear from you. |
passy:QU'EST-CE QUE C' EST? ![]() |
Either Mr. Allo is high on something or he is a Cameroonian seeking to mingle with Nigerians on Nairaland. |
It screams desperation! |
@Emmaco You really have to improve your memory, so you don't forget what the topic is all about when you post. ![]() |
obong:Not exactly. |
Ochu nwa okuku nwe ada- He who plots against the innocent shall fall. (Good motto for the Igbos). |
That Bola Ige, a serving minister of justice was murdered in his residence and it ended as a cold case. Nigeria is incredible. |
