Information from reliable source said that there would be few BRT buses that will be made available to passengers applying all routs. The rational behind this is due to lack of diesel at the depot which urgent step has already been taken. As I speak to you now the suppliers are discharging the product to meet up with passengers satisfactions. Lagosians are urged to coordinate themselves and bear with this temporal difficulties as arrangements are seriously put in place to quench this shortcomings. Thanks and God bless you. It's too annoying how all these network providers in Nigeria misbehave unabated. If MTN should continue this way, am afraid I may gladly find a better zone for myself. To cut the story short, for the past 7months, the end time MTN have been trying to force me to subscribe to callertune which usually display in front of my phone screen as if a special call was coming. I have been rejecting this useless offer for subscription which I have maintained high level of smartness by always deleting their request on arrival. One thing with me is that callertune is one major thing I hate most about this useless network providers and have done everything possible to jettison their offer.. Yesterday night the balance on my phone for sending SMS was a hundred naira which I wanted to use today, but to my greatest surprise, I mistakenly pressed the GREEN button and my whole hundred naira was deducted instead of usual fifty naira. Many people may say the money is small but if MTN can succeed in forcefully duping me such amount as an unemployed graduate, what can you say about many victims of this kind especially uneducated market men and women. Thousands of people have continued to face similar challenges but have nothing to do to recover their stolen balance. Imagine waking up last week and seeing my 200 naira balance empty without having any active subscription or interest in any services. Do you know that MTN make more than one million naira from deducting one naira from each customer? NCC should do something to regulate all these End time self ambitious MTN and prevent them from making us pay for their penalties. CC: lalasticlala |

VERY SAD: Exactly 1year Muna Obiekwe Died. It is exactly one year we lost popular Nollywood actor Muna Obiekwe. From some of the sad posts that Muna’s colleagues posted on their various social media accounts, it was made known that the actor, who was survived by his wife and children, died after he could not afford the fee the Nigerian health care was demanding. Just have one more time to type RIP. We miss him and will continue to miss him. RIP!!!!!! ,

Wonders shall never end . Imagine receiving this foolish SMS from unknown number. Please be careful if you also got the same SMS. The message read and i quote " Dear Customer, Due to the BVN validation in compliance with CBN bank directives, your ATM card has been De_activated call our help line: on+2348037808192". |
[quote author=airmirthd1 post=41976064]Come back here ....... Come and explain tap out jare[/quota TAP OUT: Passengers are given card with ATM resemblance especially on demand. The card is sold@ 250 naira which you will be expected to recharge when is exhausted. The reason why this card is made available to subscribers is to ease the inconveniences by passengers who have monthly plans on how they would spend their income. So, on purchasing this card, you are expected to log out (tap out) when you want to alight from the bus. There is always a machine installed at the entrance of the bus mainly for tapping in (login in) and@ exist for tapping out ( log out). Any failure to tap out I.e log out while alighting from the bus will remain your balance empty except when you report the matter to appropriate department concerned. |
Most times, the rate at which some passengers behave while boarding BRT buses are so alarming that some go to the extent of sleeping, thereby forgetting when they have gotten to their initial destinations. Ever since the operation of the fully new air conditioned buses within Lagos metropolitan city began, virtually 99% percent of Lagosians have resorted in patronizing them; maybe due to comfort and subsidized transport fare. So, because of several complaints by passengers, I have personally made out time to advise people on what do avoid while patronizing this new BRT buses. 1: DON'T JUMP THE QUEUE: Please, no matter how placed in the society you may be, kindly respect yourself and abide by the queue order. Most times when you see a long queue, just wait patiently until it get to your turn. Any attempt by violating this order may lead to your harassment either by the long awaited passengers or security guards. Just humble yourself and vamoose from the area because you won't believe how much insult you will receive. 2: DON'T BUY TICKET AHEAD OF NEXT DAY: Funny as it may sound, some people most times buy ticket ahead of next day without knowing that it expires 24hrs of purchase. This is to avoid dubious means by few hands in printing tickets that has similar resemblance with the new one. As soon as you purchase your ticket, bear in mind that you can't use it the next day. 3: TRANS LOADING: Many a times passengers complain that why should Busman take them into another bus without proper information. Please, bear in mind that busmen don't apply all rout withing their jurisdictions. If you are told to alight so that you will transfered to the next bus going to Ikorodu for instance, just be patient and allow the Busman to do so. In the absent of bus man action, kindly bring on the attention of security personnel within the premises for easy trans load. 4: DON'T FORGET TO PRESS ALIGHT BUTTON: I know that sometimes air condition bus or car makes someone sleep, but please no matter how weak you may be, just inform anyone next to you to alert you when thet get to certain bus stop. This is to avoid the story that touches the heart. Kindly press the warning bell before the bus stop and press the second time 6 seconds before your final destination. 5: DON'T FORGET YOUR BELONGINGS: Why on earth should some people even forget foodstuff they went to market to buy with their hard earn money. One handsome guy was telling me the other day that he forgot his CPU and the said he forgot his Laptop. Some women even forget hand bag with many things on it. Please, try and keep your belongings like a baby with you to avoid the story that touches the heart. Most of the strong reported lost times have not been found maybe because some criminals near to the victim who may have taken advantage of that situation. 6: DON'T FORGET TO TAP OUT WHEN ALIGHTING: Some people are so careless that immediately they alight they forget to tap out. Please, the card you are using can help you mar you if you are careful. As soon as get you your final destination, just kindly tap out because failure to do so will amount to your balance being withdrawn. I don't know why it is so but as soon as you get your card, don't fail to tap out because you might see your account empty next time. I believe that, with this little information ,you can enjoy a smooth journey withing Lagos metropolitan city. CC: lalasticlala

Five persons were killed and five others injured in a cult clash in Ikorodu, Lagos on Tuesday. The fight between the Aye and Eiye confraternities was said to have started around 1am during Itunmeko street carnival. Four of the injured have been transferred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), the other is still at Ikorodu General Hospital. According to sources, the trouble started after the Eiye cult group killed two Aye () members who were invited to the carnival. They two were said to have been killed on their way home. The Aye cult group was said to have taken the fight to Eiye group, in anger, at the wee hours of yesterday, killing three of its members. The Nation gathered that the cultists used axes, cutlasses and guns. “They have been killing themselves. The fight started at a street carnival at Itunmeko around midnight on Tuesday. I was at the carnival but I left there around 10pm before the incident. “I heard that two people were killed that day and the other group fought back and killed three from the other side. It was between the Aye and Eiye groups. “They have been targeting themselves. I do not really know what happened; only those within can tell you what actually happened. “I heard they killed two guys and the following day, the people killed three Eiye guys,” said a source. Another source blamed the Ikorodu Vigilante group for not doing its job, adding: “The problem is that the Ikorodu Vigilante group has been compromised. They are not doing their job well; that is why these cultists can go on the rampage at odd hours.” Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent (SP) said two bodies were recovered. “We recovered two bodies on Tuesday evening. I am not aware if there were injured persons. But the police have gone all out to get the perpetrators and bring them to justice. More intense patrols are being carried out to forestall any recurrence,” she said. Source. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2016/01/five-killed-five-injured-ikorodu-cult-clash/ |

The Edo State government has commenced the process of recruiting 5,000 teachers for its public primary and secondary schools, the state commissioner for education, Gideon Obakhan, has said. Mr. Obakhan stated this on Thursday, saying 50 science and special teachers had already been recruited for those with special needs. According to him, induction and orientation programmes have been organised for the teachers. “They have concluded this and they are being posted out to different schools in the state. “We are also going to start the process of the employment of 3,000 teachers within a short while. We have carried out an analysis to that effect. “Our long term plan is to have about 5,000 teachers before the end of 2016. “We are still doing an analysis to be sure we are getting efficiency. “Because of the separation of senior secondary and junior secondary schools, there have been some requests for teachers. “We need to do some analysis to know the exact number that we need now but we know that there have been some complaints about teachers in some schools,” he said. The commissioner said the state would get the required number of teachers to run its schools, adding that many of them would be posted to rural areas. “We are also taking a firm stand on redistribution of teachers across schools in the state. “We have made it clear that there will be no preference in teacher redistribution, including those already in the system because lot of people lobby to remain in the urban centres. “We have made it known to them that people in the rural areas are not less important than those in the cities. “So, if you are ready to take up appointment, you should be ready to go anywhere,” he stated source. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/south-south-regional/196363-edo-begins-recruitment-of-5000-teachers.html |
