can he claim to be loyal to the doctrines of his church?
If there is a mutual agreement,Yes.Seems Lady Dame is perfectly aiight with the arrangement.Who are we "outsiders" to term that as "unfaithful" ?
Im an African,Polygamy is not a crime to me as long as there's mutual agreement.

You could give a qur´an to a non muslim for the purpose of enlightening him or her about islam. When you present it to the person explain to him/her to treat it with care and it is not to be taken to toilets. If the person is non arabic speaking then please give the person o copy of the english translation preferrably without the arabic script in there.

I see no reason why anyone should discourage you to give a qurán to a non muslim if it is for the purpose of knowledge. The verse some people quote for not giving is in Q56 when Allah said " . . none touches it except the pure " but it should be understood that the knowledge of the quran is the paramount and the quran was not even in a book form when the verse was revealed and there is a deeper explanation to the verse which i dont want to go into now.

If the non believing jinn can become muslim from hearing the recitation of the quran , many non muslims have become muslims from just reading the translation of the quran as well. Please give the quran to whoever is interested in the light of islam and May Allah illuminate the hearts of your friend with the light of islam.

And God knows best.
Thank you.

Food › Re: Can Someone Teach Me How To Make Owo Soup And Also How To Make Ukhodo by ifyalways(f): 3:30pm On Jan 19, 2011
There's nothing like Owo with Yam . I like!  kiss

Ingrdients:
Ikau [Potash]
Fresh fish
Gizzard
Meat [I use goat meat]
Red oil
Maggi cubes
Cray fish
Tomatoes pulp
Pepper [Dried]
salt

Procedure
Boil your meat, gizzard and add maggi cubes. When the meat is almost ready, cut off the pectoral fins on both sides of your fish, scale it, wash it, slice it and put into the pot of meat [make sure that there's a little quantity of water remaining]. After 5 minutes, add your tomato pulp, ground pepper [ preferably dried pepper not fresh], ground cray fish and salt to taste.
Meanwhile, put a little quantity of water in a small pot, add your potash and then heat/boil. Turn off the heat after 2-3 minutes. [I used to put the potash directly into my soup but the first day I tried the boiling method, I saw a lot of rubbish settle at the bottom of the pot and I decided never to use w/0 boiling first. You can smash the potash and put directly in the soup but, for 'hygiene' purpose, I'd advice you boil it].

10-15 minutes later, your soup should be thicker . Drain the potash water from the pot into your soup, stir and turn off heat. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes and then gradually pour red oil [ I put a lot. Depending on the quantity of your soup, though] into the pot of soup and continuously stir until it is thick in conistency and golden yellow in colour.
[ If you aren't going to finish the soup in a day, it's advisable not to mix all. Just put the portion you need in a plate and mix only that. Put the remaining soup [not mixed] in the fridge or freezer and heat when next you want to use it, before mixing].
Serve with boiled yam or plantain. kiss kiss kiss kiss
Enjoy!

You can use whatever meat you want. Location is the reason I only use the
above - mentioned. For example, someone in Naija would add smoked fish [ very nice for owo  kiss], smoked prawns etc.

This is the way the Binis prepare it. I think the Uhrobos have a different method whereby they add starch  shocked
Owo without garri?
Did not know they add Tomatoes too to Owo soup.
My urhobo friends do use garri undecided

I have never slept with another man but I do know that I never get an heavenly feeling, what the heck, our intercourse lasts barely a few strokes as he cums easily, there is never a chance to get to the point where we can experiment or I can get any pleasure, And I am also his first, its very common in our culture to save ourselves for marriage and we both preferred to avoid penetration till marriage, Usually I am not the kind to express my frustration in words, I prefer to sulk over such things but then I guess it was a long time and I needed him to see something, I don't know , and he does not give an angry response, he also just gives up too easily, probably he can't take failure well, he wants to please me but he says he does not know how to get it right and he even told me once that he dreamt once that I left him because he could not please me but I could never do that(never imagined to do that) , I always thought that we just have to try more to get it right but expected his co-operation and not this

. . .I never read or saw this part of ur story
Like i said b4 dear, those things u want,u have to try initiating it rather than giving orders.Take the lead and encourage him.
Speak less, act more.enough of all the verbal "lets make love,u aint doing it right" rants, start doing it right urself.
When he is tired, pls try to contain ur urges or at least let him get some rest/sleep then later in the night, cuddle up.
Don't expect him to be on same page with u,it takes time . . our body systems are not all same.
Coach him and help him be the man you want in bed.

I will appreciate d house to help me out wt this situation, I had a child while I was in skool and the mother is married to her own choice because as at then we were both young, i mean not capable of handling marriage issue, Thereafter the mother of my son got another choice and got married , Now I have a date and we are so much ready for all, she is pregnant now and her family insisted that they we must do court wedding , My challenge is this 1. Why are they making court wedding compulsory ?
2. What will be the fate of my first child whose mother is not legally married?
3. Who will be my next of kin? (My wife suppose but will she grant my first child something good after my departure, cos no one knows tomorrow?)

I love her and she love me but you (married) know what am trying to figure out, after getting legal back up women can turn to be something else,

Pls let someone enlight me more about court wedding, it adv/dis,

Thanx
Insist on Pre-nup before the court marriage.Write ur will NOW.
Make provisions for ur first child in the Pre-nup,will.You can still make ur wife ur next of kin but make sure theres a solid provision for the first child.
Clearly ur wife is not foolish, don't be.

Yes, I saw this side of him only after I moved in with him after the wedding. Earlier there were just arguments or silent times. But ever since I began to live with him, he has been pretty much scaring me with hitting me whenever he feels like during an argument, , I considered anger control therapy today but when I asked him, he refused, saying that he did what he did to stop me from nagging him and not out of pleasure.
Seriously,what do u guys argue abt/over?
You guys still need that "long talk".Get a grip on ur nags while he learns to control his hands.
Give him time before you suggest the therapy again but please let him know that the next time he hits you,u wont just walk out of the marriage but he sure wud be cooling his a55 down in jail.
There are other ways of dealing with a nagging wife, his using it as an excuse to hit u is pathetic.

Is it possible for him to re-locate to same city as his wife?
As the extended family seems to have a say in this family,he might have to inform them of this development.

Well, sex is not the only problem, it is the last problem, the main problem is his anger as he usually twists my arm whenever he is angry and thats a pattern, sometimes he hits me when he is angry, not in a manner that might bruise me but its humiliating nonetheless. And he is angry whenever i complain for a long time and try to argue for long time (say more than half an hour), long accusations make him so angry that he loses all control
Did u just notice this side of him?
What do u complain abt?complaining abt anything for a long time=nagging. No one likes a Nag.
What do u accuse him of?
I think you first need to turn ur "complains" down a notch, try the ignore and overlook mode and see how it turns out but more especially,You guys need to sit down and have a talk and decide if this is what u want for yourselves. The marriage is merely months old.
Anger management therapies for u both wont be a bad idea.
Few months to their marriage, she got an employment with FG. The whole family (extended inclusive) suggested she took the job even though she had something doing around here (may not be as well paying). The promise was that she would soon be transferred back home. Husband took this in good fate considering the condition of the extended family (her parents) but it seems he is regretting that now.
It is now 2 years and still counting, only hopes that she would soon be transferred. They now have a baby and of course she has to take care of the baby away from the husband.
Now to make matters worse, she suggested she would like to go for her masters abroad.
please advice,
Does the wife know how the husband is feeling right now?.When something is unfavorable for you, please first step is to Speak out to the concerned party, wait for their response and then decide ur next line of action. For all I know, its possible this lady does not even have an idea that the hubby is not OK with the whole set-up.

unsuregirl:
My problem is confusing the hell out of me. I have been married for two months to a guy that I have dated for 5 years before marriage. We tend to get into arguments and he is usually not very responsive during arguments which makes me feel helpless. Last night, we had such an argument over sexual matters where I felt that I can not sleep unless he resolves and does what I needed him to do and hence I kept asking him to make an effort but he kept telling me he is too tired to do anything now and we should wait till morning. So I was shaking him to keep him from sleeping and ended up frustrated enough to force him to have intimacy ,  the force did not work and he got angry and became more rigid and ignored me endlessly and finally he said he will hit me if i did not let him sleep now. He twisted my arm and that made me angry and I kicked him a few times when he said that he will go out of the house and I told him he should and that his anger is not going to resolve anything, this time his anger will end everything and he is too selfish to consider my feelings. This was when he slapped me and called me some names. I was too shocked and I slept outside and I have been thinking of leaving him ever since,  He still does not think he did anything wrong, just keeps saying that I made him slap him by not letting him sleep when he needed to and that he does not enjoy it but has to do it to stop me , I think thats crap since there can be no excuse for slapping somebody,  Should I leave the marriage right away?
Sorry abt the slap, marriage is not a bed of roses, don't leave yet . . .
Sexual matters?Did u guys play abstinence during courtship or become sexually incompatible overnight?
When he is tired please don't force him,you are a woman, the power is already in u,utilize it babe . . .seduce him without saying a word, make him want you and long for more without going verbal or saying a word.Initiate those moves you want and when hes on it,reciprocate and let him know he is doing it right.
You both are wrong,go into the house babez and get those sexy lingerie out, cook him a nice dinner and get your groove on,take him the very moment he walks right inside the house and f, cuk him to submission.
IF se.x is the only problem u guys have,i wud say DO NOT leave!
