Scarlett:
Well well well

The grass Always seems greener on the other side
You only have to get to the other side and realise its actually algae
and slimy stuff you don't want to get into.

This is what puts marriages into trouble, wondering and pondering
why not face the person you are with and make the best out of it

I know its the nature of man to be selfish but i also know nature has
taught us what happens to a selfish man.

So please, the grass where you are can be greener than any you can imagine
By Tender loving care it will get there, just water n nurture it, you will be fine.

Health › Re: What Are The Possible Causes Of Miscarriage(threatened Abortion) In Women by ifyalways(f): 11:18am On Feb 29, 2008
naijaking1:
Miscarriage or abortions are caused by a broad class of factors, namely:

Genetic
Anatomic
Physiological
Microbiological

With the ltd information you provided, it's impossible to classify your case under one of these headings. Your personal OB/Gyne would be able to put your condition under one of these so that it could be treated or prevented in the future.

Good luck
. . .very well said.
@poster,there is little NL can do for you now.take your wife to a doctor to ascertain the cause and to avoid any future recurrence.goodluck

slavia:
iam 25 years old. i have Keloids on my chest.
i have had it since (i think) i was 20 years. But it was very tiny then, it then started growing and also multipling on my chest.
iam afraid it migth continue growing. to worsen it all it itches, so iam always tempted to scratch it (which they say makes it grow more)
don't really know what to do. Any suggestionshuh
5 good years you had,yet you didnt do nothing?
here are your options:
Coristone injections:this injection is given usually once a month and it helps flatten the keloids.
Surgery:effective but quite risky as the removal of a steroid might trigger the appearance of an even bigger one.
Pulse- dyed laser:flattens the keloid .
silicone gel sheets:wearing of silicon gel sheets for several hours a day.quite expensive.this might compress the keloid.
Cryotherapy:freezing the keloids with liquid nitrogen but this leaves the affected area darker.
Loditin drops:a natural herbal formula said to clear it. undecided
goodluck but why not see a dermatologist.it might not be a keloid yet,it might be hypertrophic scar.

Good Day Nairaland am here just to seek the advise of the good Doctors here.My wife to be had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago and since then her stomach has not come down yet please I need an advise or any recommedations please.
i just want to believe you guys have been to a doc ?
some of the tissues from the foetus and placenta might still be left out and is very dangerous if left for long.if there are still some tissues left, she would be needing a suction.morover, its just 2 wks as you said, you dont expect a magic,it wud take some time but it wud sure come back to shape. kiss
tea, peppersoup prepared with native spices would also help the tummy get back to shape but please first, let her go see a doctor.

LIES OF MY MOTHER

This story begins when I was a child: I was born poor. Often we  hadn't enough to eat. Whenever we had some food, Mother often gave me her portion of rice. While she was transferring her rice into my bowl, she would say "Eat this rice, my babie! I'm not hungry." This was Mother's First Lie.

As I grew, Mother gave up her spare time to fish in a river near our house; she hoped that from the fish she caught, she could gave me a little bit more  nutritious food for my growth. Once she had caught just two fish, she would make fish soup. While I was eating the soup, mother would sit beside me and eat the what was still left on the bone of the fish I had eaten, My heart was touched when I saw it. Once I gave the other fish to her on my chopstick but she immediately refused it and said, "Eat this fish, my queen! I don't really like fish." This was Mother's Second Lie.

Then, in order to fund my education, Mother went to a Match Factory to bring home  some used matchboxes which she filled with fresh matchsticks. This helped her get some money to cover our needs. One cold night I awoke to find Mother filling the matchboxes by candlelight. So I said, "Mother, go to sleep; it's late: you can continue working tomorrow morning." Mother smiled and said "Go to sleep, girl! I'm not tired." This was Mother's Third Lie .

When I had to sit my Final Examination, Mother accompanied me. After dawn, Mother waited for me for hours in the heat of the sun. When the bell rang, I ran to meet her. Mother embraced me and poured me a glass of tea that she had prepared in a thermos. The tea was not as strong as my Mother's love, seeing Mother covered with perspiration, I at once gave her my glass and asked her to drink too. Mother said "Drink, daughter! I'm not thirsty !this was mothers fourth lie !

YES,MY MOTHER WAS AN ANGEL!

M - O - T - H - E - R: -

" M" is for the million things she gave me,
" O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of  gold,
"E" is for her eyes with love-light shining in them,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER"---  a word that means the world to me.
love you mama ! kiss
