Buddha3: See why it's often important to pay attention while conversing with others? In the process of trying to make me seem unintelligent, you ended up exposing the extent of your folly. Thank you for eventually dancing to my rhythm. Don't lump people into your Biafra because you're trying to tap from their resources and seeking routes to assess the open seas. Give room for freedom of association, the very point I've been hammering on.
And FYI, should the Igbos leave, the South South region will follow suit, so you and your One Nigeria can develop yourselves with whatever resources you possess. Iranu! The SS must not necessarily follow suit. Maybe the North and SW can appease their elites with more "Ghana must gos" or maybe use the Igbo states share of the national cake to increase derivation percentage for the SS states. Remember that even though Dafur people wanted independence from Sudan, in the end, independence was granted only to South Sudan who fought harder for it. However, Ndiigbo will not go with just SE. Ndiigbo would want all indigenous Igbo speaking groups scattered in SS states and in NC to have an option to reject to join SE or accept to come with us, preferably via a plebiscite/referendum. |

humilitypays: So you guys know that you are minority and cannot defend your own son from being oppressed by another tribe who has kept you down, exploiting you for decades by coming to your backyard to take over your crude oil wells and using them to become wealthy while your communities are destroyed by the exploration activites, you couldn't challenge or fight them to take over your crude oil, you couldn't fight them when they were disgracing your sons and daughters calling them thieves and ganging up to jail them, but you can attack Igbos that took bullet for your sons and daughters, made enemies in trying to defend your son, just because Igbos said they want to sit at home to protest the marginalization of their zone and maltreating of their people by the same people that is exploiting you, destroying your land, taking your resources and even tried to destroy your sons and daughters for doing less than quarter of what they had been doing for decades
Does that make sense to you?
Igbos in Bayelsa didn't carry arms to destroy things, they only decided to sit at home and yet you cowards that couldn't defend your son Jonathan and daughter Deziani from being disgraced by your oppressors think the best way to reciprocate Igbo support for your people is by threatening to seize their shops if they sit at home again. Is this not foolisness and madness from your people? Nah. The madness and foolishness is on the part of Igbos like you who think they could get these people to reason like proper humans. Who told you that NIGERIA is their oppressors? Who are you to tell them who their oppressors are? Are you people okay at all? Can't you face your own business and let them be? |

EmekaA125: Ijaw, Benue and other minority tribes in SouthSouth are the most useless and idiotic fools in this country. Hausa-Fulani enjoying huge benefit that comes from oil deposit at their backyard is not their problem but next door Igbos. Fools that won't amount to anything useful. That's why Hausa-Fulanis don't rate them at all especially Ijaw and Benue. Fools that are happy with their oppressors. Umu ezi You are the fool here. The Minorities are comfortable with their Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani brothers. Leave them alone for crying out loud. Stop with the useless unity begging. Grow a brain. Focus on yourselves. discusant: You admitted you are not from the SS. So what the heck gave you the information that Biafra is being sought for as an Igbo homeland? Biafra has never been a homeland for only the Igbo, right from the beginning. Igbos had as much claim to Biafra as the Ijaws, Efiks, Ogojas, Ogonis have claim to Biafra as homeland, beginning when the Eastern Consultative Council represented by all the ethnic groups in the old eastern region decided to pull Biafra out of Nigeria in 1967.
They said you are a Fulani from Kwara state; so how do you feel if you are told by a stranger that possible Arewa Islamic Sharia Republic shall be a homeland for only Fulani? People of the 12 northern sharia states that adopted sharia criminal laws, and share common value systems, are not all Fulani, after all. Please!! He is right on modern Biafra being sought for as a homeland for Ndiigbo. Some of you can just stop deceiving yourselves with the fantasies of Multiethnic BIAFRA with minorities. Look at the sit at home, do you see Minorities observing it? |

Some benins don't eat that soup(Ujuju) because of some juju(deities) they have in their family.
Ni Ika Rimma. All Igbos call water leaf Ngborogi, Ugborodi, Gborogi, Ngborodi, etc. Depending on your clan. I know Ujuju to be a strictly Anioma, especially IKA Soup. All parts of Igboland have leaves perculiar to them. In Nkanu, they have a leaf they call "Awa" or something. Only them eat it. |

ChinenyeN: We share a similar understanding in my area as well (Akuma Imo). We either call it “uhu” or “uhwu”. Some people say that it was replaced by the term “ezi”. Some say it was replaced by the term “ulo”, but I after studying Ngwa and Igbo etymology we, I have a different suspicion.
Before we started building “onu ovu”, it used to be that the ancestral homestead was also a sort of farmland/garden. I think this combination of “home” + “farm” is what “uhwu” actually referred to.
With the advent of “onu ovu”, the “ulo” (various residential building structures within the ”onu ovu”) and “ezi” (the area in and around the “onu ovu”) replaced the idea of “uhwu”. That’s why I think some people associate “uhwu” with “ezi”, while some also separately associate “uhwu” with “ulo”.
We hardly use the word anymore in my area. It’s one of those words that will probably be forgotten in another generation or two. This is very detailed. Thanks ChinenyeN. Let's do our best to make sure we keep words like "uhwu" alive and relevant beyond our current generation. |

It's also used for the congregation of various unrelated people who united together to form what becomes a VILLAGE.. 0) I see. Interesting contribution. Thanks for this. |

Angelfrost: You clearly don't understand the basis for differential diagnosis...
I have seen well trained and renown consultants check medical books for correlations and symptomatology even in the midst of clinical activities. There is no shame in getting better clarification on medical issues while making clinical decisions, and Google happens to be the quickest reference library for all professionals especially physicians.
It is nothing but sheer and misguided arrogance for any professional to think he is so well versed that he fails or refuses to cross-check other references or even ask other colleagues especially outside his area of specialty. Good one. Additionally, apps like Medscape and Emdex in soft copies are easier to use on phone to cross check drug dosage than using outdated hardcopies or worst still, prescribing Drugs without being 100% sure of the dosage. |

They warned against against attacks and killings sponsored by FG in the SE. Which is the Right thing to do. They know there's no real security issue or terrorists in the SE. So they are warning those responsible for the artificially created situation to stop. Contrast that with the below Citizens have been warned to stay away from these twelve states; Borno, Yobe, Bayelsa, Bauchi, Gombe, Kaduna, Katsina,Delta, Rivers, Cross River, Zamfara, and Adamawa states.People were being warned to "stay away" from the above states.
