Of course it's the right thing to do.

Umahi for APC and Obi for PDP.

Then Nigerians can choose between both of them.
There are no human resources anywhere else in Nigeria better than both men I listed up there. They only have equals and not superiors.

So the question of having a credible Igbo candidate should be out of it. grin

Biafra will come.
Ndiigbo left NIGERIA in spirit since 1967.

However, for Biafra to come, a pan Igbo nationalism group would need to arise within or outside IPOB, that would cut off the Minorities baggage that sunk the first Biafran effort and continue to do so till today.

Then why the bromance between Wike and Igbo recently? Na you dey smoke something, Wike almost got into unknown gunmen victims list when the tension was rife during obigbo massacre as a spillover from EndSARS protest, now Igbo celebrate Wike as the best governor in Nigeria after the VAT saga that he started. It is you people that should check yourself how you forge allegiance in this country.
Which Igbo is celebrating Wike as best governor?

Wike committed genocide against Ndiigbo in Obiigbo.
It might take time, but he will be made to pay for that by Ndiigbo in the future.

No Igbo is with Wike on his VAT issue.
Didn't you see the SE Governors press release? We have nothing to do with Wike and Lagos VAT issue. We are Neutral.

Na today you know?
Google Hausa Banza, you will see Yoruba boldly sitting there.
Yoruba have been classified as part of Hausa since time immemorial that was why Uthman Dan Fodio said that Yoruba is destined to be under the Caliphate as their Hausa brothers.

Yoruba is boldly Hausa Banza and they don't deny it. The only strangers in this contraption is Igbo and Associates (Efik, Ibibio etc). The others (Yoruba, Fulani and Hausa) knew themselves before amalgamation.
As for us, those we know are in Central Africa (Equatorial Guinea, Southern Cameroon, Gabon etc).

We have no business wasting time with these Hausa people (both Yoruba and the other 13)
At all. We have no business whatsoever.
Look, both groups are Muslims and even dress alike bar that one decided to bend the cap while the other left it standing.
The more I reason it, the more I hate Zik and the more his lack of Wisdom and foresight is exposed.

In the past week I have said so severally. Although my stance was based on close observation of the two tribes and not research.

Both groups have a precolonial pact that predates Nigeria.

Nahhhhhhh
I guess you have issues with IPOB BIAFRA of "two wrapper" theory.
Well you are not alone.
Sensible Igbos don't want non Igbo speakers in Biafra.
This means that we want every single Igbo speaking town in SE, Rivers, Delta, Edo(Igbanke), Benue, Cross River, etc all given a chance to opt to be part of the rising sun country of only Igbo speakers.

Almost every Igbo person loves Biafra cos it shows us what we can achieve without interferences from the parasitic north, talk of having your destiny in your hands. Above all, we Igbos lost our ancestors in the war. So actualising Biafra will show they didn't die in vain. This is why it's hard to see an Igbo person who doesn't love the incoming nation cos virtually every Igbo family, lost one, two or more of their folks in the war...

tell them to come to my mother's village, ubierumum in Uromi. They will get names as one of the victims lived opposite my mother's family house. He went to visit his girlfriend in a village inside ugbegun.

You people aren't even better than fulanis you berate at every opportunity. Stay in your region stop crying everyday and avoid see finish. You're not a minority
There was no such victim. All beer parlour stories you made up.
All Edoid Edo massacres in Anioma are well recorded.

Ndiigbo are sure better than Esans. All Igbos in Esan are living better than the average Esan man.
We didn't steal from you, we buy best lands, build best houses, ride best cars wherever we go, am not surprised you are green with envy.

You can do it tonight if you want. Ojukwu didn't wait for a Fulani man to dash him Biafra, he took it himself. Igbos are majority just like fulanis. You can secede tomorrow morning nobody will come after you.
You know, Omoigui was asked for years to provide evidence of Biafran genocide in Mid-west, and he couldn't provide one other than the usual hearsays.

And what has your FULANI master's been doing to you? Giving you your treasures?
You mean NIGERIAN soldiers who went to Liberia and Sierra Leone and looted the citizens in the name of peace keeping, who commit all sorts of crime even in home soil, were saints in Benin and everywhere they stepped foot into? Ndiigbo are the reason you couldn't impregnate your wives and hence became Minorities?

Banjo compromised the Lagos March by spending too much time negotiating with his Yoruba people while camping Biafra troops in Bini.
Biafra never had enough numbers to withstand NIGERIAN military or hold unto Midwest and Lagos while still fighting at Northern Igbo fronts, once they(Nigerians)regrouped, the idea was to use surprise factor which Banjo ruined by his deliberate delays.

The retreat was inevitable.

Gowon was the president of Nigeria and had every right to appoint someone, by the way Ogbemudia is our own. Who the fucck is okonkwo?
What right did ojukwu have to appoint a governor for us?
You guys will never learn. Declare your Biafra this evening, you have all the power you need. Declare your Biafra tonight nobody would give a fucck. Invade a neutral region and get decimated again.
The minute Banjo crossed the Niger and entered our territory, we took it simply as a declaration of war. Banjo didn't just go to Benin, he split the army into 3 went to Warri, Auchi and Benin. Your people keep lying to themselves that they were on their way to Lagos, since when did Warri and Auchi lead to Lagos?
Igbos are no different from Fulanis, all you people want is land and resources that don't belong to you.
Gowon was a military dictator whose legitimacy was being challenged by Ojukwu. He was never the president of NIGERIA. But thanks for admitting that your loyalty was with Gowon and NIGERIA. This is what we always knew and not the stupid takes of Neutrality.

Okonkwo was a Midwestern and a more legitimate heir to the throne considering that his democratically elected Anioma brother in the name of Osadebey Dennis was the legitimate occupant of the throne.
But thanks for admitting that you Edoids considered Okonkwo an outsider because of his ethnicity.

You were never neutral, you were always part of NIGERIA and obviously comfortable to be under Hausa-Fulani represented by Gowon as figure head.
If you side the Hausa-Fulanis in the next war by not declaring independence, and withdrawing your citizens from Nigerian Army and from Nigerian Government when we declare Biafra, and they invade us again preaching your demonic "One NIGERIA". You will be considered part of NIGERIA again by us, and if need be, will be invaded again.
This time around, not with friendly intentions and certainly not led by a non Igbo.

Ndiigbo have no history of ever building an empire or annexing people lands. Edo state is the home of Bini empire, what an Irony that Edos are accusing Igbos of annexation and invasion.

lol. The Midwest invasion was the reason Edo people joined the war including men in my village. They never joined the army prior to the invasion. The political class in the Midwest offered a neutral ground for negotiations between Nigeria and Biafra as we mostly considered the conflict as Igbos vs Hausas. Even to this day my mother still regard the federal troops that displaced the Biafran occupation as Hausas.

Nigerian army was barely existent prior to the war as Nigeria was hardly 7 years old. The soldiers we had were mostly trained in the UK. The men that were recruited to form the second division that defeated Biafra were recruited after the invasion.
Trying to colonise Edo was what swung the advantage in federal government favour.
This is the lies you tell yourselves to feel good about your role in the war, but nothing could be farther than the truth.
Remember that you had already claimed that Ojukwu tried to impose Igbo rule on you, because an Anioma man( who most of you dubiously claim to be Bini people when it suits your agenda) was appointed Military administrator of the region that was renamed Beinn republic to show that it's neither part of NIGERIA not Biafra, as Midwest was NIGERIA named.
You were disappointed that Ojukwu didn't appoint an Edoid (Edo, Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri) as the administrator of the region, while conveniently forgetting that an Anioma son in Osadebey it was who was the legitimate leader of the region before he was ousted and replaced by Ejoor (an Edoid) by the military.
You welcomed Ejoor appointment, not minding the injustice it meant for Anioma people whose son was ousted, but you were quick to go up in arms shouting Igbo domination the minute Ojukwu replaced Ejoor with an Anioma son in Dr Okonkwo.? You wanted another Edoid leader, apparently, Anioma people are not Midwest enough for you. But never mind, you were neutral in your dreams.

This is why I don't care about those Igboids hating Igbos. Once Ndiigbo are gone with Biafra, they will get it hot from you Igbophobic minorities. grin

Bottom line my dear, no one tried to colonize Midwest region.
We tried to de-Nigerianize it, by giving it a neutral name that is not NIGERIA-linked, ie Benin republic. But apparently, the people preferred NIGERIA, hence squashing their claim at neutrality.

what the fucck is this one talking about? Ojukwu declared Edo state Republic of Benin, and tried to make it a colony of Biafra because we said we were not interested at all in the conflict and had no single security unit on standby. Edo people joined the army in late 1967 and early 1968 after the invasion of the Midwest.
Was this flag restoration of " status quo"?
There was no Edo state.
What we had was Midwest.
Ojukwu declared it Benin republic because It was part of NIGERIA and wasn't a neutral territory like you said. We had to make it neutral. Pending the end of the war, about time it was hoped that the Anioma Igbos would be absorbed into Biafra while the Minorities of Midwest would have been left to their own machinations.

There were many Edo sons in the Nigerian military that were wrecking havoc in Igboland.
And Midwest military leader Ejoor was in Aburi as part of Nigeria delegation and not neutral delegation.
So the talk of Midwest neutrality is and has always been bunkum. The war was Biafra vs NIGERIA. Edoland was part and parcel of NIGERIA, unless you can show me where Edo people declared independence from Lagos based Nigerian military Government!

Edo didn't have military protection because all Nigerian Military which included Edo people were already stationed in Northern parts of Biafra from Nsukka to Gakem.

Even Lagos was left with little Military presence which was why Biafrans sensed an opportunity to March to Lagos and sack Gowon and his boys from there.

Edo not having military presence had nothing to do with it's non existent neutrality. Edo was part and parcel of NIGERIA during the war and the war was Biafra vs NIGERIA. So how can you speak of Edo Neutrality when Edo never declared independence from Nigeria? undecided

Are you listening to yourselves?
