I pray this is the opinion of the majority. It is noble and honorable. IPOB and Lower Niger Movement draw some overly ambitious unrealistic and frankly scary maps that only engender resentments of ndigbo by others.
Many Igbos are actually seriously against IPOB multiethnic Biafra and will strongly kick against it when push comes to shove.
The Igbo wants a 100% Monoethnic Igbo Biafra with non Igbo hating Igboid groups in SS and NC.
Nothing else will be acceptable.

You are a fair minded person. Everyone should choose freely. Igbo Nation will be great one way or the other. All the grabbing territories here and there is a distraction. It makes Igbos look desperate and feared.
Ndiigbo have never in our history grabbed anyone's land.
We are not empire builders and never colonized any other group.
The land grabbers in Nigeria Know themselves. They were empire builders who invaded and subjugated others in the past.

The Igbo have always been democrats. We are a people who cherish freedom and will never deny others of it.
We are also too proud a people to beg anyone to be part of us. As a matter of fact, we are naturally segregative and hardly accept outsiders.
Anyone thinking Ndiigbo will beg him or his group to be part of Biafra has bomb in their head.

So you think other people hasn't lived in Urhobo to know how they think and how the behave? For you information I was part of my team who worked on a project (Which I won't mention) in Urhobo areas, I know the environs of Ughelli, Agbarho, Okuokoko, Effurun, PTI road, Alaska, Udumurhe down to the market, Jakpa road, Airport Road, Enerhen down to inside Warri so I know the Urhobo people too well but most times we just choose to observe silence on certain issues. I know how teenage girls easily get pregnant out of wedlock, In fact marriage is now a thing of the affluent. An average Urhobo child has no patience for learning a skill, trade or even education. They're all after quick wealth. I used to think only Igbo loved money but my short stay there changed my narrative. I was there when the Otukutu bridge saga happened but as I stated earlier, we chooses to stay silent on certain issues. Yahoo is now a new skill there, where a successful Yahoo boy rents an apartment and recruits young boys who learns the ropes in fraud and continue doing his dirty jobs. I even stayed close to one then in Osubi, a stone throw from the Warri Airport. This boys live to impress and oppress their peers so its not just an Igbo thing.

Or is it Uvwie people and Okpe people who often times don't see themselves as Urhobos?

Gidgiddy was right. Urhobo Igbophobia is highly alarming, i doubt if they'll let an Igbo man marry their daughter.

U talking about betrayal, do you even know how many Urhobo friends betrayed and almost swindled when i needed their help in getting a land? But I won't tribalize it as it's obtainable everywhere.

If the North thinks that the 'entire Nigeria' will help/joint hand in fighting East as was done during the Biafra war in 60s should wake up from their slumber, because the whole nation is polarized and want to take their own chance of self determination.
Gone are the days North, when you think the East will be the theater of war and continue to lot and destroy the entire population, the middle belt you so hoped on will disappoint you, the South South will not be soooo loyal again to betray their closes neighbor, while the west will also try to separate from the forced marriage.
Again, we want peace and a peaceful separation.
Nnaa don't put any trust on those you call middle belt, South South and the rest. That was the beginning of Ojukwu failure.
There is nothing to trust from those quarters, we can only count on ourselves.

the world is not sunshine and roses. If someone had told those of the sixties that Nigeria would devolve into this mess they would have laughed themselves silly. I view anyone that thinks about forming a new nation as a coward that is not ready to take up a challenge. what happens when the new "nations" follow the path that Nigeria is taking? are they then going to call for another " break up". look up the Balkan countries and the other countries that broke up and ask them sincerely if they would have prefered to be part of the Union. I believe that solving Nigeria challenges is easier than founding a new nation. All it takes is political will, equity and fairness of just a few of our leaders and Nigeria will blossom again. Even buhari can turn this country around if he and his team decides to show this trait. but instead the elites that will still be a part of this new "nations" would rather continue to amass stolen funds as if they are going to bribe angel Micheal and Gabriel in the afterlife
No country from former Yugoslavia as bad as their current situation might be, wants to go back to Yugoslavia arrangements. Non of them want to share a country with Serbs(the Fulanis of Yugoslavia), not even Kosovo.

There is nothing to amend about Nigeria, the country will be divided so that each group can go and solve their own individual problems alone.

Firstly,Coming to your Axis...Phc starts from Bororiki and Ends at Eleme Junction.
From Another( That's passing through the Boro Park fly over to Ikwere Road)Axis Phc starts at Bororiki and Ends at Rumuodomaya.
From Bororiki (That's passing through marine base to odili road to Abuloma)Axis Phc Ends at Okrika/Buguma water side.
From Bororiki to Marine Base,Phc ends at Okrika water side also.
From Bororiki to Town,Phc ends at Dockyard/Reclaimention sand field.
From Eleme Junction to Woji,Phc Ends at Evo Kingdom Sand Field.
And coming from Eleme Junction to Rumukwurushi,Phc Ends at Eneka.
From Mile1Axis to Wimpee axis,Phc ends at Ogbogoro jetty/Elimbu/Navy NNS Pathfinder Waterside back to RUST Waterside.
Now I'm done with where Phc starts and ends,Back to Oyigbo...If not for the Oil that was discovered in Oyigbo the Rivers State Government would have long sold it out to Abia State because literally Rivers People never wanted Oyigbo. For no other reason than economic Gain for Rivers People Obasanjo Military Government used the Imo River as boundary between the present Abia State and Rivers State Which Automatically made Oyigbo fall into Rivers State instead of Abia State...Rivers people truely never clamored for Oyigbo even till this day. It has to be stated that both sides of the Imo River, that is Ukwa-west the area in Abia State and Oyigbo in Rivers State contain many oil-wells. But more oil wells are in Oyigbo area.Let it be said here that the commercial town of Obigbo, which was renamed Oyigbo after the Nasir boundary adjustment,is an Asa town,Osu(OutCast in Igbo) reason why Abia State didn't bother fighting for it..During the Recent Boundary Adjustment Ogoni people (Oyekhana) resisted being mapped as part of Oyigbo even when they easily fitted in.
Talking about Power plants in Oyigbo.
Those plants where long there even before you and I were born...As Oyigbo then was a thick Fallow Mass Land with Few Dispersed Settlements,It was an ideal place to set up a Power plant hence the Afam Power Station.Infact,a then relatively small community took a huge power generation hub the FIPL’s Afam Power Plant and now plays host to 4 Power Plants which includes Shell’s Afam VI Power plant, Government’s Afam I-IV Power plant and the currently on-going construction of the Fast Power Plant and Shell Okoloma gas plant...No other Benefits of Oyigbo Village being in Rivers State...Igbo Rejected,Annang Akwa ibom rejected,Ogoni Rejected...Tuaaa!!
Finally, Talking about Having Better Building structures in Oyigbo than Port Harcourt..I Think you are mad.
A Village Like Oyigbo can not be compare to Omoku talkless of Phc....How many Banks,Easteries,Cinemas, Shopping malls,Hotels and Hospitals are in Oyigbo...Oyigbo that barely have Roads to Pass ..You must be really Mad...For you info,If Dem won sell Rivers State I follow for people wey go collect Lion Share.
When Oyiigbo was ceded to Rivers state there was no Abia state. Oyigbo was in Imo state then and known as Obiigbo. And Imo state contested the decision to cede Obiigbo to Rivers state, the case pronouncement by Supreme court is in internet, google it.
Ndiigbo would never have rejected Obiigbo. The Asa and Ndoki people were never OSU. I doubt you know the meaning of Osu. Majority of ASA and NDOKI people are in Abia state.

You were right that Obiigbo was added to Rivers state as a continuation of Nigerian post civil war economic strangulation on the South East, Obiigbo was oil rich and could have contributed to the financed of South East, which the leaders of *One Nigeria* never wanted just as they implemented the 20 pound policy.
The Rivers people knew that Obiigbo should rightly be in Igboland yet greedily went to court to contest for it against Imo state knowing that the FG controlled Supreme court would rule in their favour.
It was sheer greed, witchcraft and highest height of insensitivity from the Ijaw controlled old Rivers state, who only saw Obiigbo as cash cow to milk with the help of FG.

Mammar Nasir claimed to have used Imo river as the boundary between Old Rivers and Imo states, yet Omuma LGA at the Imo side of the Imo River was added to Rivers state, alongside Etche LGA.
So to those of us in the know, we always were never in doubt about the fact that ceding of Obiigbo to Rivers state was driven by economic strangulation on the South East policy of the FG, post civil war, which the minorities supported with no remorse. A policy that the FG has continued even unto this day.

Any one who thinks they can use threat of war and genocide to subjugate the Igbo don't know a thing about the Igbo.
All your threat will do is to harden our resolve and even make many Igbos sitting on the fence to join the Biafran ranks.
The Igbo as individual hate coercion and force. The sure way to get an Igbo to do something is to threaten him not to do it.

OP. Be careful. Technology has proliferated. I know many of you think the war will just be fought in SE while you dance owambe in Lagos and Ibadan and do you Masarachi in Kano and Sokoto like happened in 1968-70.
But I can assure you that with Igbo current international presence, it will not be so.

If you bring death and destruction to SE, be rest assured that your own cities and people back home will not be safe as well. They will feel the sting and destruction as well.

Threatening the Igbo with War, is a sure way to get us into wanting to do that war so that you can relax.

Abegi, from which old communist doctrinaire did you dig out that gem from?
You think all those traders at Alaba are doing it for the benefit of the community and government?

One good thing about free market (capitalist) economies is the belief in “mutuality of interests”....
Ibeto in advancing his own interests creates jobs for the community and generates taxes for the government.

It does not require the obtuseness of PHYSICALLY PREVENTING him from operating the business!

Ebonyi main source of IGR is the solid mineral mining going on there. There are quarry sites all over the state that puts food on the table of the locals.
You can't go to the top and corner it without
carrying those whose very life sustenance depends on it along.
I don't know why Nigerian commoners are suffer heads and favor having the rich get richer on public wealth and resources while leaving nothing for the commoners.
This very disposition of Nigerians is really annoying.

The traders are well taxed by both locals and government. Enter main market Onitsha and open shop and see how far.
You must pay back to the community once you are making profits. You can't be stashing billions built on the penury of the Masses. That's madness.

No amount of jobs Ibeto creates should entitle him to make billions off the people resources without appropriate checks to carry everyone along.

However you want to polish that turd, point remains that his biggest problem was that the Ebonyi government and the community PHYSICALLY PREVENTED him from taking control of a company that he LAWFULLY acquired (following his acquisition of Eastern Bulkcem, the majority 60% shareholder of Nkalagu Cement). This caused Ibeto to remain the last and ONLY entity in the cement-bagging (rather than manufacturing) business in Nigeria, nearly resulting in the government shutting down Ibeto’s operations until he resolved the Nkalagu debacle and got foreign investment from Milost Global (the NYC-based PE firm) to modernize the Nkalagu plant.

Thus (as I previously stated) his BIGGEST problem was his fellow Ibo kindred in the Ebonyi State government and the Nkalagu Cement host community. It was NOT Obasanjo nor Dangote nor Rabiu.
>
You are not making any point.
Ibeto was forced and rightly made to go through due process before Nkalagu cement acquisition.
That's how it should be in ideal world.

Ebonyi state government made sure he pays every single dime the state is entitled to and that the host community are carried along as well.

You can't say to have lawfully acquired a company without carrying the host community along. You are into business and not exploitation of the people, all involved parties (business man, state government and local community) must and should benefit from the business.

Either way, your post still has no relationship with mine.
You left the point I raised and dived into another thing all together. More of obfuscation. I

Ibeto had a BIGGER problem fighting his own Ibo kin in Ebonyi State...

Ibeto won the bid for Nkalagu Cement Company during the same privatization process that saw Dangote win BCC Gboko, BUA win Sokoto Cement and Okpella (Edo) Cement, Scandinavian producer Holcim (which later became part of LafargeHolcim) win Calabar Cement, etc.

All of the bid winners have taken control and rebuilt and expanded the privatized entities - except for Ibeto, because he spent over a DECADE battling the Ebonyi State government and the host community for operational control of Nkalagu Cement (apparently his own fellow Ibo folks would have preferred that the privatized entity be sold to ‘Oyibo’ investors). Supposedly, a resolution was finally reached in 2019 or thereabouts, but as far as one is aware, not much has happened in respect of actual operational development.

PS: Btw, Ibeto was the last (in fact, for a while, the ONLY) entity importing and bagging cement, without any actual manufacturing.
>
He wasn't fighting his Igbo kin.
He was been made to go through the right process before acquisition and not to exploit the people and government of Ebonyi state.
In ideal world, that's the right thing to do. Ibeto is in the business for personal profit. He doesn't share his profit with Ohanaeze Ndiigbo, so why exactly should he not be made to come clean before acquisition of Nkalagu?

I'm aware the Ibeto suffered lots of import ban under OBJ all aimed at helping Dangote maintain monopoly.

BTW, your post has no correlation whatsoever with the points I'm raising.

Let me highlight my points again:

OP was wondering why Ibeto has not made any public remark about Dangote monopoly like Rabiu of BUA had.

The answer to the question is right in this thread.
Many had attacked OP even before looking at the points he raised simply because they assumed he is Igbo.
Its only when he had repeatedly declared that he isn't Igbo that many started even looking at the points he is raising without first attacking him and labelling him an Igbo full of hate. And this has happened in many of his other posts where he was pushing for social and political changes.

The above would explain why BUA can easily speak on Dangote without getting attacked but Ibeto can't. Hence Ibeto silence that OP labelled as cowardice.

Ibeto is an Igbo man. You are not Igbo, yet you have seen how everyone from other parts of Nigeria has attacked you on this thread and in your other progressive threads, thinking you were Igbo.
Imagine if you were Igbo.

BUA can afford to speak freely against Dangote and get away with it, Ibeto cannot without being labelled a hateful Biafra driven by hate for a Northerner progress.

So before you go on to blame Ibeto for keeping quiet, you would first have to walk in his shoes as an Igbo man in an Igbophobic charged country like Nigeria.
His best bet is to maintain his peace and make his profits.

Nigeria is a country that hates the truth. Any one who speaks truth to Nigeria is assumed to be a hateful Igbo until proven otherwise.
