Okay,do you know that the Ndoni clan of ndokwa people are part of ndokwa and were carved into river state.Even some ndokwa people were carved into bayelsa.
Peter Odili is from Ndokwa clan.
By the way,I am Ika and I speak for Ika people only, forget what Ika politician may claim, they claim igbo to get their vote. But majority of ika people take our Ika identity serious.
No Igbo give a dead rat about what inconsequential Ika want to be identified as. You don't count.

As for Ndoni, yes they were carved out from Ndokwa area into Rivers state in 1975 by Mammar Nasir dubious boundary adjustment program.
But the Ndoni man of today no longer consider himself an Ndokwa person. They see themselves as independent ethnic group of their own, and why not? What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.
So Nope. Odili Peter is not an Ndokwa man. He is an Ndoni man, seeing as Ndoni is now an independent group of its own.

Yes! We have no allies, at least not in those minorities.
And I'm happy more and more Igbos are beginning to see those guys for who they truly are.
Our work is to keep preaching to our people who are still swimming in the darkness of non existing brotherhood with those Igbophobic minorities, until they see the light.

Some of us have been on this mission for years now and its satisfying seeing our toils online on different platforms starting to yield fruits.

IPOB did a lot of disservice to Ndiigbo with their stinking and sickening way of unity begging before those minorities. It would take us years to undone the damage IPOB did on that front, and I'm happy we are getting more and more Igbo nationalists getting involved in this battle of maintaining Igbo pride and dignity as well as protecting her territorial integrity from these aggressively expansionist minorities surrounding us.

It is just that one just do not want to appear rude. Several accouts comparing the Ijaws and Igbos often refer to the Igbos as more "superior". It is just sometimes one tries to appear politically correct and not go down to insult. You can also check out this account in 1840. The same account that the Igbos were considered way more civilised.
Read the upload from this account in 1840 which was properly documented.

In the second document, it shows that they come to Arochukwu to pay homage.
There is no point trying to be politically correct with minorities. Their Igbophobia is incurable as it stands. You just slam them hard with raw facts and unleash full strength of Igbo pride on them. If they burn, they burn. There is no point tolerating them anymore, no point dimming our light to protect them from getting burnt off by envy.
Years of Igbos trying to be politically correct with them and playing it cool has yielded nothing but more Igbophobia and antagonism from them. Those days should be confined to the past now.

We will hold our lights high, give it fuel to burn brightest and eviscerate all who are intimidated by its magnificence.

God knows that I hate anything 'crisis' in life and community because it will not end well even when you think you are winning. This people intermarried for ages and effium people (not everyone there) decided to buy gun and face his closet neighbor thinking they'll wiped Ezzas in a day, they killed Ezzas in their numbers because this is not a football match where a date is being set.

I want peace to reign in Ebonyi state and beyond.
You Ezzas first of all have to acknowledge that Effium people have a genuine case.

They invited your ancestors in the past to help them secure their lands from their enemies. Then they gave you a portion of the land to inhabit.

What they never envisaged was Ezza people multiplying so much in population, so much that your population now threaten and frighten the population of the Effium people.
Additionally, your expanding population needs more land naturally for farming and building and have had to encroach into empty land spaces not part of the land space the Effium ancestors originally gave your ancestors.

This is not the first time this is happening with Ezza people. It has happened between Ezza and Ezzillo and some other cases I can't remember now.

It also happened between Awka and the strangers they accommodated called Amawbia.

Your case with Effium is not the first neither will it be the last. Humans are naturally territorial. When you start getting bigger in number than your hosts, it's only normal they feel threatened.

Saying Effium people are jealous of Ezza controlling the economy of Effium is only glossing over the fundamental issues at play here.
And I have to tell you, the way you Ezzas have tried to deigbonize Effium people and deny them their voluntary acceptance of the Igbo tag, in bid to paint them as outsiders in Igbo land and rile the rest of Igbo land against Effium people has not gone down well with Igbo nationalists.

Go and tell your people to stop that agenda because it will not agend. Effium people has willingly assimilated as Igbos and we will treat them as Igbos and not side you against them or them against you.

Ndiigbo are democrats. If you(Ezza) sit down with your Effium brothers and stop your unnecessary propaganda, I believe Effium fears can be allayed and a peaceful compromise can be reached between Ezza and Effium.

With lots of our Igbo men in Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, South Africa, all over the. World and with Christianity abolishing polygamy in Igbo land.
The end result is that there is a surplus of marriageable beautiful maidens in Igbo land.
There are not enough Igbo men to go round for Igbo women. Polygamy could have helped us like it helped our ancestors keep our Igbo women married within Igbo land. But Christianized modern Igbos have demonized polygamy.
Consequently, our surplus Igbo ladies have to seek for husbands outside Igbo land or remain unmarried in Igbo land.

It's a conversation no one is ready to have in Igbo land yet.

you don't know the foundation of the Effium crisis. I am yoruba and I served in Effium. That upstairs in ruins was where I used to play bet9ja at a shop. The 'perry investment' shop was actually a PoS Shop. I feel very sad seeing this. Most of the my students and their families have been displaced, and just last week, I heard the news of the probable death of one of my former colleagues at a school there. I served from 2019-2020.

The crises is about Land. Effium are the supposed indigenes, but the Ezza people have immigrated over the years and outnumbered and dominated the indigenous effiumites. Also, the Effiumites are not Igboid, and this is one of the factors instigating the Ezza who are apparently an Igbo subgroup against them. Effium language is not intelligible with the central Asusu Igbó at all. They are said to have migrated from Cross River in the olden days.

I believe the first step in resolving the crises is to declare a state of emergency in the place. It has gone past inter-ethnic rivalry into a full blown genocidal war. They may explore the option of 2-community solution by demarcating the Land, just as being proposed in Israel between Israel and Palestine. Indeed, I doubt if peaceful coexistence will be possible after this crises. This is the third war they are fighting over land since 1999, so I heard.
In case you are wondering why i came hard on you. The above is the "bunkum" in your post.
It only exists in your Yoruba mindset, you probably manufactured it to sow seeds of strife in Igbo land.

you are obviously a poor reader. where did I say that Effium are not proud of the Igbó identity? I said Effium language is not intelligible with the central Asusu Igbó and the proponents of the Ezza narratives are using this against them. How is "Fuo" meaning"come" in Effium the same with "Bia" in Igbó? If you are really conversant with the crises, you should know that the NURTW case is just the immediate cause. The remote cause of the problem is LAND INDIGENUITY DISPUTE and has lingered on for years. People like me are not looking for ways to escalate the problems - I am all in for a solution and I even joined the Unified facebook group membered by both Ezza and Effium to enforce peace in the community. Even people that flew to Far Inikiri Benue and Idope are now being targeted. And neighbouring Ngbo are unfriendly.

Stop saying people are yawning dust. You end up being the one vomiting shit. I proposed a declaration is state of emergency and two-community solution. What was your own solution aside insult?
See. I know how you Yorubas behave. The issue has nothing to do with Effium not being native Igboid speaking. You have to accept that first and foremost before we can move on.

The root of the issue has nothing to do with being indigenous. All over Igboland there are pockets of Ezza communities outside their main Ezza North and South LGAs , who are constantly in war with their new neighbours.

The root of the issue is that Ezza were war mercenaries in the past. So when communities have land disputes with neighbours in that past. They usually invited Ezza warriors to help them win the war and thereafter plead with these Ezza men to live with them to scare away retaliation attack from their enemies.
These Ezza men are usually assigned a defined portion of land. But in passage of time, they return home to Ezza land to marry wives and bring relations along to live with them, and they multiply really quick that the original land space initially assigned to them by their hosts are no longer enough to accommodate their modern population.
The modern Ezza population thus outnumber their host in number or equal them, but discover they are surrounded by empty land spaces they are not allowed to farm into or expand into because it was not part of the land initially assigned to them by their hosts.
So they choose to fight to possess the lands around them. And their hosts usually mount resistance and with time the issue escalates.

It happened in Ezzillo and its happening in Effium. It has nothing to do with Effium not being native Igboid speaking like you dubiously claimed. I actually don't know your agenda with that insinuation.

I belong to Effium and Ezza groups and have monitored the situation closely. I also have close Effium and Ezza friends in real life, so I doubt you have better grasp of the current situation in Ezza-Effium fracas escalated by NURTW politics than myself. I mean I am an Igbo nationalist and knowing every single detail of happenings in every part of Igbo land is a hobby to me.

Yes! There are few Ezza people who tried to use Effium Orring Language to score cheap brownie points, but other Igbos have always shut them up and made sure that agenda died in still birth.

As for solution of the problem. I have quite a lot of them and have submitted them in different Ezza and Effium platforms, but I believe there is lack of political will to resolve the crisis on the part of Umahi and Ebonyi state government because of invested personal interests.

Peace.

Stop yarning dust.

Ezza vs Effium issue is a struggle for control of market park revenue by rival NURTW members belonging to both divides.

Yes! Effium don't speak Igboid language as first language, every child born in Effium learns Orring and Igbo Language from birth, just as communities like Isua, Ipe Epinmi in Ondo state don't speak Yoruba as first language, but like these non Yoruba communities had since adopted a Yoruba origin and can't see themselves as anything other than Yoruba, so had the Effiums adopted Igbo language and origin and are very proud of it.

Stop trying to obfuscate issues. Ezza vs Effium issue is not about Effium Orring language.
Ezza naturally fight everyone around them. They are fighting Ezillo people too who are Igboid speaking.

Well, I believe those yokes can be broken with real truths from written history and not made up history... I have so many books with even letters from kings in Bonny claiming their people to be Igbo. I have had a rough estimate, or will I say census of Bonny people showing that at least 90% are Igbo...
The next problem is that the greater Igbo political movements are not proactive.. They were very short-sighted and selfish; if not, they would have spent more time reclaiming lost territories and people with intellectual history and inclusion. In the long run, these numbers and influence will work for you,
The Ijaws understand that their combined population may not be more than 2 million, and they do not have good solid land, and they have taken it upon themselves to Ijawnise some people before people realise what is happening. They also need dry land with the realities of climate change and present environmental pollution,
I know a couple of people from Buseni in Bayelsa. Thee people go by the names like Igbobie, Ogbonna, Okorie, Ibekwe, Igbokwe... You can see in their looks; that Igbotic look but decade after decade, they are slipping down because their numbers are so small, and they are isolated from another Igbo influence from the hinterland,
Yes, I know Biseni. They are historically Ogba people and by extension Ndokwa people. But are getting Ijawnized day by day.

The Igbo political class this era is the most useless I have ever seen. None of them has gotten their heads beyond looting public fumds and trying to cover their tracks from EFCC to see the threat Igbo territorial integrity is being subjected under by aggressive expansionist neighbours in Edo, Ijaw, Igala, etc.

You would think this should be the duty of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo. But I have never seen a more disillusioned organization than Ohaneze Ndiigbo. All they are interested in is to secure money from politicians so as to start giving stupid endorsements like they can influence the actions of even an Igbo toddler.

We as individuals can only do as little as we can. I belong to a Biseni social media group and the signs there are not encouraging at all. It is heart breaking.

Good points.

In my opinion , the agitation for Yoruba nation is not unconnected to 2023 SW agenda.

1967 = One Nigeria is non-negotiable

2021 = Oduduwa Republic is a reality.

Who does that? Why?

The Awoists , Adekunles and Obasanjos that fought to defend the territorial boundaries of Nigeria; goodluck in convincing them to switch allegiance.

In a nutshell , the SW is trying to secure the bag (political power) via realpolitik. Call for Oduduwa Republic? Call back after 2023 presidential election.
grin

Plot twist.

Scene1: The Igbo political elites were hoping to use Biafra agitation by Igbo commoners to force the North into conceding power to them.

Scene 2: The Yoruba elites had to counteract that. So they brought Igboho to do the job for them. Task is simple: create a semblance of Yoruba secession to counteract Igbo elites Biafra threat and ensure a stalemate. grin

What do you think grin

I do not even think the greater Igbo nation needs to worry about Ndoki in Abia state and Rivers state; they are all strong pro-Igbos, and the work of the Ijaw elements there have been exposed... They even declared publicly and sternly warned the Ijaw elements within them to desist from commenting or leave the groups outrightly...
However, within those Opobo people, many of them have been washed with the Ijaw story even if they obviously speak Igbo and Igbo names etc.
Some are still strong with their Pro-Igbo views etc... However, instead of criticising Kanu we should continue with the promotion and marketing of Igbo unity and Igbocentric pride. I like what is happening on social media now. A lot of people who would originally not like to be part of the groups or identitify are now using every excuse to identify.
If you know how hard some of us had to work to keep the Ijaw confusionists in that Ndoki Facebook page contained, and then flushed them out from the group, alongside all their naive Ndoki collaborators like the administrator of the "Ndoki Nmanmanu page" who we disgraced and exposed, you wouldn't be saying all these things you are saying.

A lot of work had to be put in to reeducate Ndoki commoners in that page before sanity returned in that page.
2yrs ago, you couldn't come to that page and say that Ndoki is Igbo without getting attacked. Now you cannot go there and say that Ndoki is Ijaw without getting devoured by Ndoki people there who WE had sensitized to start taking their Igbo identity more serious.

Opobo people are lost and Ijaws are trying to use them to Ijawnize Ndoki which failed.

Why did Zik and his people fought for Nigeria unity and called those who sought for independent as secessionist if him and his people had self confidence in themselves? Go and tell a kid story
Zik never forced anyone to stay in Nigeria. He simply explained to the North the disadvantages they would face should they secede from Nigeria.

Zik never threatened military action against any region that wanted out of Nigeria.

Zik was naive thinking the differences between the tower Babel ethnic groups in Nigeria were resolvable. He didn't have the advantage of watching Nigeria fail for 60yrs now like we have. Nigeria was a young country in 1960, Zik schooled in USA where the mantra was about unity of all black people. You could forgive Zik ignorance thinking there was a chance in hell that Nigeria could amount to anything other than hell.

But how do we forgive Yoruba elders and commoners still stuck with the idea of One Nigeria despite the advantage of hindsight today?

Ngwas, Aros, Mbalas, etc knew how to resolve their issues the reason they cry marginalization among themselves. Bhuahaha

Mr man, I lived in SE for almost a decade. You are facing serious ethnicity issues in the SE.
Peaceful resolution of conflicts come easy for Ndiigbo because we are naturally Democrats. There are no powerful monarchs with big egos to mess things up.
We have our challenges, but our republican nature always mean we find peaceful ways to negotiate our coexistence.
We are not perfect and like all societies we have many injustices to iron out within us. But our Democratic nature gives us a better fighting chance , and our history proves that too.

Eastern region despite the intrigues of the COR movement and all , was the most peaceful region in entire Nigeria. While the North had Jos and Tiv riots to deal with, and West had Operation Wetie and wild wild west, the Igbo used Democratic principles encoded in Igbo genes to keep every storm away from escalation. cool

Those fought for independent not Nigeria unity. Differentiate between independent and unity.
Lol! What stopped them from fighting for Yoruba independence rather than Nigeria independence?

Let me guess, Zik? grin
