You asked for where the bible says that the Holy Spirit is God and i showed you a verse specifically saying "the Lord is the Spirit" and that's written clearly in your NIV (2011) version. But hey don't let the truth get in your way.

By the way 1 Corinthians 8:6 does not refute the Trinity because Trinity holds that there is one God. That verse would have still been correct if it had said that One God, the Son or One God the Holy Spirit. In order to refute Trinity you must show a verse telling us that the Son is not God or that the Holy Spirit is not God. But I can show you verses specifically saying that the Son is God (John 1:1) and the Holy Spirit is God (2Cor 3:18)

frosbel: GOD was present in his Son through his Spirit all along , Jesus himself said that the Father was always with him because he pleased him at all times.

Points to note :

1. The Spirit of GOD empowered Mary to conceive, so GOD was the Father of JESUS
2. Jesus was again anointed by this Spirit of GOD to carry out his earthly ministry.

Also :


God was in Jesus through the Spirit reconciling the world back to him.

"For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation." - 2 Corinthians 5:19


Here , as you can see, the phrase 'God in Christ' does not mean that Christ is GOD, rather it means GOD was working through Christ.

God is not a MAN, but he worked through MAN , this MAN being his SON, the Messiah and the Christ.

Otherwise we can also call Joshua GOD since his name means GOD Saves , no ?
