English people are pompous, they will never allow French Authority to be at Waterloo but ironically there is UK post at Paris Nord.Note French immigration officers are always uniformed, hardly speak in english.

There's mix-up in in your statement regarding french authority in Waterloo.

Within the EU there are no immigration checks for e.g if you're travelling from France to Germany or to Belgium, there are some exceptions e.g the UK still retains its immigration checks.

Regarding French immigration checks at Waterloo, that may have changed especially after july 7 but as of 2003 when i used Eurostar, French Immigration were at Waterloo while the British were at the French end and checked you when re entering the UK.

I 've spent a few days in Antwerp in the mid 90s as i had a friend living there and the nightlife is quite good. I've stopped by at Ostende on my way back a few times for some belgian chocolate  The beach there is great. 

Did you know Marvin Gaye lived in Ostende in the 80s ? He wrote 'Sexual healing' while he was living there.

The dissapointment is their International Rail station. It does not look so. No security check(immigration et la). Out of train, then to the city straight. just like that( As at December 2003).

You're travelling within the European union there are no immigration checks, unless you're coming from the UK and you're checked before you board Eurostar at Waterloo (by french immigration)

Paris is a very beautiful city but some parts of it resemble Balogun in Lagos, and parisian drivers are like molue drivers

I still would like to know the country in your own mind that is the best place for someone to live in.

I can't choose for other people as what i want or value in life is different from what others want, i suppose if money is your main motivation then the US is probably the best place to be, personally I find the UK more suited to my way of life at the moment.
That may change as i get older and i may find that i want to move back to Africa (not necessarily Nigeria, could be Botswana, SA, The Gambia or Ghana)

Everything is so clear now, how could i have any doubts i feel truly born again.....

I think the best place in the world is wherever you want it to be, there isn't one place i can choose, it will have to be a combination of places.

Other theologians say that there is at least one biblical condition that remains to be satisfied before the Antichrist can appear, and the Tribulation can begin: the Temple must first be rebuilt on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It was destroyed by the Roman occupying army in 70 CE.

4 Two biblical passages imply this:  2 Thessalonians 2:3-4: says: "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." Daniel 9:27: says: "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." The "week" referred to here is interpreted by most conservative Protestants to be the seven-year Tribulation. At the 42nd month point into the Tribulation, the Antichrist will terminate the ritual sacrifice of animals in the Jerusalem temple. Again, the temple would have to be rebuilt before the sacrifices can be resumed. Only then could they be ended by the Antichrist.

I have travelled around the US and it is truly a remarkable place, however its not the best place on earth and it does have its own problems like the Katrina situation in New Orleans has shown.

yeah, i quite agree that a man does not really have to engage in some drama presentation just to prove a point but have you ever wondered why men cry in a dignified ( to borrow your language ) manner?

thanks,  i don't really know why but i suppose its one of those unwritten rules in society, many people still find the sight of a grown man crying uncomfortable (especially other men)
So i think the whole dignified thing is just a macho way for men to show emotion but still show they are in control.

Its a shame, the US is no longer the 'Land of the Free', Visiting the states these days is like going to a prison. They take your fingerprints, personal information and picture, then they practically strip search you at customs. On my last trip they actually cut the lock off the suitcase i checked in.

Paranoid behaviour like this will not make the US any safer, changing their unjust policies towards other countries is the only way they can be secure.
