elampiro:Mkhitaryan never played under LVG. Paul Parker is always a Man Utd critic and he understands the British media bias so he doesn’t count. The challenge(in case you forgot) is to find any article that asked Rooney to be dropped under LVG. LVG left United in the summer of 2016. Any article you post after July 2016 does not count. Try again. |
elampiro:Find an article from an English journalist that asked Rooney to be dropped in the LVG era. I am waiting……. Harry Kane refused to turn up for preseason and pundits were licking his arsę that there must be a reason for him doing so cos he’s usually a seasoned professional. Meanwhile, Pogba’s agent(not Pogba himself) hinted that his client might seek a move to another club and the same pundits were cursing Pogba. Pogba did a hair style that has blue in it and they cursed him on live TV that he wants to move to Man City. |
Mrviktor:You are absolutely correct. Even the media and the pundits are quiet over this. If Ronaldo hadn’t scored a league goal since his return to the PL, there would be millions of articles stating he’s finished. |
hensben:Yep! His style wasn’t expensive in that Sextuple season. His net spend that season was around £50m. He didn’t make excuses about DNA, cultural reset or all the buzzwords today’s managers use to hide their incompetence. Dude came in, sold some of the best players in the squad and bought few technicians and he went on to win the TREBLE. Until that season, only 4 managers had won the continental TREBLE in European football. I cannot think of a greater achievement as a rookie manager. Hansi Flick comes close too though. Imagine if Ole won Sextuple in his debut season, Olesexuals would have built a massive cathedral for him by now and force every United fan to worship the Norwegian fraud. |
thorrvik55:The Pep version advanced the total football invented by Cryuff. Pep went 6 levels higher. The Cruyff’s total football never starved opponents of possession. The Pep version made use of a conductor(Busquets). Pep used several other ideas to develop his version like using false 9, gengenpressing(Klopp actually copied this from Pep), false full backs, false 8s, inverted wing forwards, etc. The only downside of Pep’s football is that it requires gazillions of money or special talents to work and it’s a system that can only work with ball playing individuals all over the pitch(including the goalie). So it’s an expensive project but the rewards are also huge. Other than that, Pep plays the purest form of football ever seen on the planet. I slam Pep a lot but credits have to be given to him for what he’s done in the game. |
hensben:Pep is considerably better than Klopp. Pep’s football strategy is still being talked about - one could say he completely revolutionized football. His style was so successful that his national team adopted it and won 3 major international competitions. Nobody talks about KloppBall in such manner. No international team has adopted Klopp’s heavy metal football or given the same accolades like that of Pep’s. It’s not only the trophies that Pep is superior to Klopp, Pep’s legacy is there too and it’s etched in history forever. |
elampiro:I am sure that never happened. You just cooked it up. No English pundit would say such. |
hoopLA:I know this thing will enter inter-class coach by the end of today. ![]() |
Varane brought some level of sanity to this defence today. Fewer brain farts than the what is usually seen. |
hoopLA:You are breaking the hearts of Olesexuals, don’t make them commit suicide. ![]() |
hoopLA:You people are killing me with these jokes. ![]() |
Leyqute:You mean there are fantasy premier league managers better than Ole? Elampiro, please come outside. ![]() |
Joezinho:They aren’t happy but their credibility and brands are on the line too. They don’t like losing as well so they would give everything to win. It’s up to the board to do their job and sign an elite manager. |
TrebleChamp:They want Ronaldo to be pressing, chasing defenders like a dog in the park. Ole seems to be saving the energy of his top players for Atalanta. |
codedguy1:I can name 10 Nigerian league managers that are better than Ole. ![]() |
codedguy1:Deft finish. If Cavani had used force, it could have deflected off Lloris. This level of finishing is innate. Rashford would have blasted it. |
Joezinho:Individual talents will always bail Ole out. An astute observer still knows Ole has no plan. It’s been 3 years and Ole’s defence still cannot pass their way out of a press. |
Ronaldo is unbelievable. I don’t know what to say anymore. How does he do this over and over again? How? |
Maguire and Shaw on yellow cards already. The 2 most useless defenders in the division. |
The combined age of our strikers is 70. Ole promised youth, DNA, United way, pace in the attack. ![]() |
Roy Keane is destroying Maguire and Shaw. This is elite punditry. ![]() |
CrystalTiger:They said he’s a useless manager for losing 2-5 to West Brom last season. Ole lost 1-6 but he is a brilliant manager. ![]() |
eph12:We should swap AWB with Lamptey. He reminds me of Rafael, he’s so brave in attack. |
Oasis007:Fans who expect or hope for good results. Nothing Ole does can shock me again. He’s a hopeless manager even if he wins the next 10 games. |
Oasis007:I don’t think we will ever get the chance to watch VDB in the midfield again. So Ole can play 3 at the back but Conte isn’t the right fit for United because he plays 3 at the back. Man Utd is a joke. |
Oasis007:McFred starts again. I don’t see any changes here. |
Same journalist Same newspaper article. The way British journalists protect British players and rubbish foreign players need to be studied. It’s covert xenophobia. One of the players here has won 30+ trophies including 5 ballon d’Or awards. The other player has 4 relegations under his belt but guess the one that British journos want dropped? And when we point this shit out, ingenuous folks like Elampiro would rant that there’s no prejudice in English football. If Ronaldo was Harry Kane, would any British journalist suggest Kane should be dropped? SMH!!!

AnfieldFan:Klopp has one league title in 6 years. If you want to talk about money, Ranieri spent literally nothing to get Leicester a PL title. Liverpool fans always like trumping out the net spend argument when backed against the wall. Who gives a shit about net spend? Van Dijk became the most expensive defender when he was signed and Alisson was the most expensive goalie when Klopp went all out. This idea that Klopp had scarce resources is a myth. The scarce resources also brought him time. In football, time and money are the same thing. If he had Chelsea’s unlimited resources, he would have been sacked after 9 months. He was given plenty of time time but even with the 6 years he’s had, Klopp has 1 PL title. That’s the manager I was accused to be envying? ![]() This gotta be an expensive joke. Pep, Mourinho, Enrique, Zidane and Hansi Flick are all better than Jurgen Klopp. |
AnfieldFan:I don’t make comments for people to agree with me, I only speak the truth. Pep won Sextuple in 2009 Pep won European double in 2011 Pep has won multiple basic doubles/trebles in Bayern and Man City. Klopp is yet to win two competitions in a single season. Any basic manager can dump all his resources in one competition, deliberately get knocked out in the other competitions. JK is getting there but he’s not amongst the elite by any means. He needs to do more. If I were to ask you to name managers that have done the TREBLE, Klopp’s name would be conspicuously absent from your list. So tell me, how’s he elite? |

CAPdan21:How much did Mourinho spend at Porto to win the CL? You don’t need money or the number of years it took Klopp to win a trophy. Klopp that usually sacrifices other cup competitions to thrive. Klopp has never won FA cup or the league cup in 6 years in the PL. Klopp usually focuses on one competition and commit all his resources into that competition. Meanwhile, Mourinho, Pep, SAF, Enrique fired on all fronts to deliver the TREBLE. There are levels to this management ish. What Zidane did at Madrid is as good as winning the TREBLE too. Until Zidane, no team had successfully defended their CL title. He did it 3 times in a row. Klopp is one or two tiers below these elite managers(for now). He could go on and do 5 CL titles in a row later in future but for now, Klopp is a tier 2 manager. I saw Liverpool players with the CL trophy and the PL trophy together with the intention of deceiving people that both trophies were won in a single season. Klopp’s brain power cannot manage such feats. |
AnfieldFan:By this metric, Roy Keane is a better manager than Klopp. Roy Keane took Sunderland from 2nd bottom in the championship to winning the championship title in the same season. Surely, that’s a bigger feat than what Klopp achieved at Mainz. Secondly, a team that could afford to get rid of such talents aren’t easy teams to manage. The greater the talents, the more expectations. Ole was doing fine with his mediocrity until he signed Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo. Pep took one of the most difficult jobs in the world in 2008. It could have ended like Lampard for him but dude went on to win every trophy he competed for. Messi or no Messi, that’s a laudable achievement. |
