AnfieldFan:Why are you comparing promotion from the 2nd division to winning the CL? Look at some of the decisions Pep had to make while delivering the sextuple? He got rid of Ronaldinho, Deco, Zambrotta, etc. These are huge decisions Klopp wouldn’t have made in Pep’s shoes. Yes, he had Messi but plenty of other managers have had Messi without delivering. The fact that you are actually comparing a mere promotion to winning the CL already tells me you don’t even believe the two of them are at the same level. Pep is light years ahead of Klopp, so is Zidane. |
AnfieldFan:Pep won the Sextuple as a rookie! He’s a better manager than Klopp. |
raumdeuter:or Nottingham Forest. ![]() |
AnfieldFan:No chance!!! Klopp’s gengenpressing needs time. There was no way Klopp would have incorporated Hazard, Matic and Fabregas to be running like headless chickens to press for the ball. The project would have taken him at least 2-3 years and Roman would have issued his P45 after a year. Klopp played it smart by choosing a club that hadn’t won a league title in 25 years. |
AnfieldFan:Klopp is a better manager than Zidane? On which planet? These Liverpool fans have the most horrendous takes in football discourse. The other day, one of them also said the current Salah is better than peak Ronaldo. Klopp has benefited from joining a club that had no standards or who weren’t expecting much when he joined them. Had Klopp joined Chelsea instead of Liverpool in 2015, he would have been sacked in 2016 or 2017 and forced to join Stuttgart or some soulless football club in Germany. |
kokanepyramid:It’s worth more than the condoms needed to prevent your conception. Cantankerous cünt! |
AnfieldFan:This ratings you showed is an opinionated one. This is why it all appears as whole numbers. Journalists watch the game and give opinions based on prejudices, covert racism, etc. I don’t pay attention to such. The ratings I gave you are backed by stats. It’s not a journalist’s opinion. They are ratings based wholly on statistics devoid of prejudices or color of skin. Opinions aren’t facts, statistics are facts. |
AnfieldFan:Pogba was better than Busquets in that final. Busquets won MOTM based on sentiments and perhaps the covert racism that plagues European football at the top level. This isn’t to say Busquets was a slouch, he used the ball extremely well but I just think Pogba showed more attributes of a complete midfielder than the octopus of Badia. Pogba had more dribbles, won more ground duels, made more clearances, blocked more shots. Two different sports sites who use OPTA stats to track individual metrics actually had Pogba as the highest rated midfielder or the best player on the pitch in that final.

adebayo201:Why can’t Ole just respectfully resign and admit this project is too big for him. My respect for him would be through the roof. Ole the player’s legendary status for Man Utd is few tiers below that of Gattuso of AC Milan. Gattuso did a self check and resigned. He even asked the club not to pay him any compensation. That’s a true legend. A man who puts the interest of the club before himself. Ole is just happy to be collecting salary(£7m per year). He’s a criminal. Off and on the pitch, Gattuso is a better individual than OLE.

This Pavard is a fool. One v One with goalkeeper and he played a back pass. He just ruined that Bayern counter with an awful shot. |
Mrviktor:Is that Phil Jones? Why do I think Jones is a better CB than Maguire and should start against Spurs? |
raumdeuter:Klopp that parked the bus in the CL final against Pochettino. After scoring that first goal, Klopp changed his tactics. Smart managers know when to pick their fights or when to shore up their defence. Klopp knew better than to risk it all and lose another European final.

AnfieldFan:I heard City fans singing Ole at the wheels in tonight’s game. Leeds fans sang it last night, Liverpool fans sang it on Sunday. The level of embarrassment has peaked. Rival fans wanting Ole to stay desperately is a sign that he’s the most useless manager in the history of the club. |
raumdeuter:He has to pretend he’s a modern manager. The likes of Elampiro loves such approach. Elampiro said he likes that Ole plays against anyone without fear. Without fear tactics = 5 goals conceded at home. ![]() In another news, I heard Lewandowski is the ballon d’Or winner for 2021. He should have won it last season as well. COVID-19 and rubbish politics robbed him off what he highly deserved. |
raumdeuter:Ole is an idiöt! Even a mosquito knows about Klopp’s gengenpressing tactics. Yet, Ole still asked his defenders that are useless in possession to build from the back. I remember the Liverpool game at OT under Mourinho. He specifically warned his defenders not to dawdle on the ball anywhere 30 yards from De Gea. All the goal kicks were long kicks to Lukaku. No serious team wants to invite pressure on themselves against Liverpool. Even elite managers like Pep have since confessed that Liverpool are the best team at pressing he’s ever faced in his career. United couldn’t even successfully pass their way around Iheanacho and Vardy - and that lunatic Ole stuck to the same tactics just to prove he’s a progressive modern manager. Tottenham should just end his misery this weekend. I have had enough of Ole’s incompetence. |
elampiro:Elite manager. He puts his blood and soul in his job. Your darling manager(Ole) could borrow a leaf from Mourinho’s application. Mourinho never lost to Klopp at Old Trafford. Your ultra-attacking, progressive modern manager shipped 5 goals in one game. ![]() |
AnfieldFan:We are not necessarily talking at cross purposes here, we are just highlighting different flaws. Ole is definitely a culprit. I never saw this total defence collapse under Mourinho or LVG. Just look at these images…..
|
Mrviktor:Pogba is our best midfielder. He can do everything. Ole’s cluelessness cannot be a yardstick to assess Pogba. Just watch Pogba in France and you don’t need an oracle to tell you he’s a world class player. Many people have said Pogba shines for France because of Kante but that theory has been put to bed twice now in 2 finals as Pogba still shone like a billion stars without the diminutive Kante. Pogba is better than Henderson, Keita, Thiago or any other central midfielder at Liverpool. Ole’s incompetence to build a functional midfield should not in anyway tarnish Pogba’s awesomeness. Under a good manager, Pogba is a nuclear weapon - the sort of player no team wants to play against. Get Ole out. Mrviktor:I would still take Telles over Shaw. Have you been noticing the amount of times Shaw and Maguire collides with each other on the pitch while trying to defend? Instead of Shaw to mark opponents, he is always marking Maguire. I don’t know if it’s Ole’s instruction or the stupidity of the English defenders in our squad, you should notice they always try to hold each other’s hands when defending. AWB would tuck in, makes body contact with Lindelof and leaves acres of space in the right channel. Remember the match against Brighton last season - Brighton’s winger should have scored a hat trick in that game with the amount of chances we conceded from crosses. AWB did it again against Leipzig away and they knocked us out of UCL(Angelino scored a screamer). Shaw does the same with Maguire. They have no positional sense, no positional discipline, poor in possession(they treat the ball like it’s coronavirus). Apply little pressure and they lose possession faster than a $1 whöre. The entire starting defence unit should be stripped barebone. You cannot tell me Dalot-Bailly-Varane-Telles would play worse than what we have seen in the past 5 weeks. |
AnfieldFan:Come off it….. Shaw’s criticism wasn’t only because of his pathetic performance against Liverpool. He has been shit all season. Most of the errors leading to a goal are from his area. His combination with Maguire has to be the worst in the entire division. The two of them are like deer in the headlights when in possession. Go and watch the highlights against Leicester and tell me why a player so pathetic is even starting for Man Utd. Telles had a decent game against Villareal - he even got a goal. What did Ole do next? Bench him for an unfit Shaw. Shaw pooped his pants at Leicester(made excuses that he was unfit) and still got rewarded with a start against Liverpool. |
raumdeuter:Pogba played well under Mourinho until their falling out. This is the Europa squad of the season in 2017(Pogba’s debut season under JM). Every player Mourinho signed for Man Utd during the summer of 2016 made this squad. Bailly Mkhitaryan Pogba Zlatan.
|
elampiro:Wingers not tracking back is why Luke Shaw cannot build attacks from the back? They were caught out of position because they kept losing the ball in transition. United concede so many chances in that manner because you people’s favorites are shit in possession. The midfielders are high up the pitch - trying to launch an attack and then someone loses the ball and the defence is exposed. Henderson made one pass to unzip United’s defence for the 5th goal. Shaw was no match for Salah’s pace and the rest was history. The other goals also came from Shaw’s area of the pitch - he cannot defend. He gets attracted to the ball and once the play is switched, Shaw is nowhere to be found. |
Joezinho:It’s a hard one to take for them. Sacking Ole right now is admitting they got it wrong with Mourinho so they are going to stick with him until it’s totally unreasonable to keep him in the job. It serves them right.
|
Searchingvictor:Daylight savings time. The people abroad fashioned a way to make better use or daylight by moving the clocks back or moving it forward. I am guessing you live in Nigeria so this is sort of new to you. Nigeria is near the equator, day and night are nearly the same length (12 hours). But elsewhere on Earth, there is much more daylight in the summer and there’s less daylight in the winter. In places like Vancouver in the winter, it’s already dark by 4pm in the evening and the sun won’t set again until about 8am in the morning. This is why the clocks get moved up and down to make use of daylight and maybe to conserve energy/fuel/electricity, etc. |
Oasis007:Ole has wasted 18 months of his career. I wish the poor lad well. He didn’t deserve this crap. |
hoopLA:TALK!!!!! TALK!!!! TALK to that NIGGA!!!! |
Karleb:£1 billion. ![]() Pep’s level was that debut season when he finished 4th. He lost 4-0 to Everton, lost 4-2 to Leicester. Txiki Begiristain ran to Abu Dhabi to literally prostrate to Sheikh Mansour that Pep’s brand would be ruined forever if they don’t back him with millions of pounds in the summer window. Pundits like Guillem Balagué was on social media crying everyday and begging people not to call Pep a fraud. Pep’s PR team weren’t going to let the brand die so they lobbied for £200m to fix City’s defence. £200m is more than the defence budget of the entire West African states. £200m brought in record signings like Mendy, Stones, Ederson, etc and the rest was history. Even Pep said he ought to have been sacked as that was the first time he would complete a season without a trophy. The Premier League broke Pep. |
ShadowWalker00:Please mention the stupid people by their usernames, don’t generalize all United fans as stupid. |
slimghost:Alex Ferguson wants to give him one last chance. Fabrizio Romano made a pre-recorded video last night that Ole got sacked. That was how dangerously close Ole was to losing his job. The next few days won’t change anything too. The football has been dire for weeks and Pep would just add salt to injury. This is the form table by the way(United are in a relegation form).
|
slimghost:Fergie is just postponing Ole’s evil days. Ole has lost the dressing room and he still has to play Spurs, City, Chelsea and Arsenal in the coming weeks. The most he can get from those 4 fixtures is 3 points. Ole should be gone by the next international break. The delay is because there’s no credible interim manager in the back room staff that can take over and they don’t want to leave the position in a vacuum. Ole is a dead man walking. |
Mrviktor:After Ole spent £180m on defence with 3 years in the job, his team cannot build attack from the back. How’s that not the manager’s fault? Once De Gea rolls the ball over to Maguire, there’s tension all over the box. With a little press from the opposition, United succumb to elementary errors. It has happened over and over in the last 3 games. Opponents now know if they press Maguire and Lindelof, they would get a throw or a corner kick or an error leading to a shot on target. It’s a disgrace. |
This is for those that are saying Ole is leaving Man Utd in a better condition than he met them.
