Vidic wasn’t better than John Terry.

Vidic is probably the best in the PL aerially. He sticks his head into anything flying in the air but he lacks the composure and the close control Rio had on the ball.

Terry was a monster aerially and on ground. There was a time Terry was impregnable for like 3 seasons in a row. Nothing got past him - he was even using his hands to stop shots back then.

I don’t do sentiments. I saw prime Vidic got totally destroyed by Torres, Eto’o, Yakubu, etc. Prime Terry was never ever humiliated that way. I would even put prime Carvalho in the top 5.
