This is Pogba’s 2nd trophy since United last won one. Maybe we should stop surrounding him with failures like Ole, Maguire, Shaw, etc and get him proper winners in the squad. |
Pogba is the best central midfielder in the world. He took the game by the scruff of the neck immediately after Spain scored and he never looked back. That defensive header in the dying minutes just summed up his performance as the most complete midfielder in the world. KDB, Bruno and the other shiny midfielders wouldn’t have been able to defend like that. United better renew his contract. |
melodyogonna:The comparison to SAF always makes me laugh whenever I read idiötic articles like this one. They always forget Fergie didn’t spend £450m in his first 3 years at United. ![]() |
The GOAT does it again. He’s 36, strolled casually back to supposedly the hardest league on the planet to boss it again and remind everyone he’s their father. Messi fans would be seething with rage. ![]()

raumdeuter:Salah - couldn’t get ahead of MaZaCar. DeBruyne - couldn’t get ahead of MaZaCar. Pogba - won cups for Mourinho, won nothing since. Mkhitaryan - flopped at Arsenal. Hazard - won his only PFA award under Mou. Ramos - never played Q/final of UCL until Mou. |
Joezinho:Mourinho has never been wrong in his thoughts/ actions. His delivery could be better but he’s always been factual and dead accurate. Pundits claim he’s a dinosaur and that his man management is outdated but he gets proven right time and time again. Tammy Abraham got an instant call up from Southgate after 2-3 weeks of being managed by Mourinho at Roma. Mourinho has turned homeboy into a monster in Serie A. Meanwhile, see the Dele Alli that Jose was alleged to have ruined……

odizeey:Telles needs a good run in the team before we can judge him. This is Shaw’s 8th season at United. Puke Shaw has been given all sorts of excuses to find form and he’s only had one decent season in 8 seasons. If he was a foreign player, he would have been shipped off 6 years ago. That being said, let’s keep the same energy for Telles, Dalot and the other foreign players that get no fair shake from the media/the pundits. They are quick to condemn foreign players but will provide excuses for the British passport holders in the team. |
odizeey:Blind loyalty to the club you support is clouding your judgment and I understand that. Wide positions are becoming the most important battleground in top-level football matches, with teams so well organised through the centre. Ole’s incompetence coupled with the fact that United have the worst pair of full backs in the top 4 is why United can’t keep up with their rivals. All the 3 clubs above United on the table are featuring full backs who are regularly making underlapping runs, breaking into the channel inside their winger rather than flying forward on the outside. Neither Wan Bissaka or Shaw are capable of this. |
odizeey:Shaw is shit! Patrice Evra didn’t make as much as Shaw as a left back. Evra was always marauding forward in supporting the attack. Football has evolved to the point that full backs are very very important. Why are you now accepting below your standard when it comes to Shaw? Is it that there are no better left backs in the world or the left back position at United is a family title and it’s the Shaw family’s turn? |
Botfuss:Are they the same ones UAE authorities revealed few weeks back? patrickmuf:I am glad you saw the intensity at which both teams played. Ole’s team is incapable of this. This is why Salah and Mane will always have space to operate. Their midfielders steal the ball during transition and send the ball quickly to the forward players. The play is at a neckbreaking speed. Ole is 6 tiers below Pep/Klopp. |
elampiro:So it’s now about how much? The goalposts keep moving to Itshekiri. Few days back, you said United are guaranteed a victory when Pogba is out of the team while McFred are in the team. Ole listened to your advice and lined up a team like you instructed. Only to be completely destroyed in the midfield by Allan and Doucoure. McTominay choked again. What other excuses do you have? Is Scott still injured? Did the wind affect his performance? Was the temperature too high for Scott or did the kitman give Scott the wrong boots? ![]() Your knack for always supporting failure is amazing. |
Mrviktor:Cucurella Is a left back. That’s what Shaw should be doing. We have Cavani and Ronaldo in the team now. I am shocked Ronaldo hasn’t scored from a cross yet. Sancho isn’t a traditional winger that hugs the touch line to cross. He’s like Salah/Mane. They vacated that area for the left back by tucking in and doing the damage in the box. Sancho will shine when Ole gets sacked, I have no doubt about it. |
patrickmuf:Cucurella is the player United think Shaw is. |
Mrviktor:He has been shit throughout the season. He’s back to the shittiness that has plagued his entire United career. |
nani667:The ‘Basterd’ has pooped his panties again. 2 points dropped against an Everton side without 6 of their best players. 50% win rate at Old Trafford under Ole in the PL. Olesexuals see progress though. ![]()
|
elampiro:Because he’s a talented footballer. He went to Bundesliga to prove his mettle. 50 goals, 64 assists at Dortmund is an excellent return unlike the failure-DNA players you always love to back. elampiro:I can read in Italian, Spanish and German and they are all humble about their players. They are patient to let them win first before singing their praises unlike the British media. What has Herrera gotta do with your useless overhyped British players? McTominay started again today, got destroyed by tier-C Everton midfielders. I guess he’s yet to recover from his injury. 12 months from now, we are going to be using his injuries as excuse for his incompetence. ![]()
|
elampiro:Like Shawberto Carlos, Dele Alli, Jack Wilshere(touted to be the only English player that can play for Barcelona), Welbeck(the African Pele), Andy Townsend(British Ronaldo), etc. How many false dawns do you have to experience in your life to know the British media exaggerate the potentials of their players? Have 2-3 good game spell as British and you get an automatic shirt in the national team. You people are media sheep. Swallow whatever nonsense the media serve you. As for the coogar comparison, it’s your PTSD jumping out again. Maybe Roy Keane is also coogar for pointing this out recently on how people get easily carried away with British players. He knows you people are dumb. ![]() |
elampiro:Xavi won La Liga at 19/20. Weah was in Africa and he didn’t even leave for Europe until age 22. He won African footballer of the year at age 23. Your boy is 24 and no one even considers him the best goalkeeper in Manchester, never mind the whole of Europe. Any how you feel like rolling the dice on Henderson, the outcome would show you he’s a failure. ![]() |
elampiro:This is just rubbish to protect British players. No one gives such excuses when foreign players come back from injuries. They are instantly slaughtered by the same media and brushed aside. British players get all manners of excuses laid at their doorsteps. McTominay has been delivering shit for 2 seasons straight. It’s got nothing to do with any injury. He hides a lot in games. He constantly refuses to take the game by the scruff of the neck like Fletcher/JS park did for us. Fletcher wasn’t the most skillful player but he covered his inadequacies with zeal and endeavor. Fletcher could run for 6 hours straight without tiring and he arrived late in the box to score clutch goals for United. McTominay is nowhere near that level. Let’s call a spade a spade, McTominay is shit! |
elampiro:If Henderson is still doing understudy at the age of 24, you should know by now he’s never going to make it. His biggest achievement till date is getting a promotion for Sunderland. Go to Wikipedia and see what DDG had achieved at 24. |
elampiro:Returning from injury isn’t an excuse. He was fit enough to start -injury isn’t the reason why he was hiding against the part time carpenters of Aston Villa. He was just dirt poor. Stop making excuses for your favorites and starting an agenda against Pogba. elampiro:He played reasonably well. Everyone bar DDG was poor until the 60th minute. To pin it on Pogba is outrightly ridiculous. I see you have quiet down on De Gea now - until he makes the next mistake and you bring your Henderson agenda here again. When they do well, you say nothing. When the performance is mediocre, your knives are out. Do you still think Henderson should be ahead of DDG? Would Henderson have bailed United out like DDG has done in virtually every game he’s played this season? Can you now see form is temporary, class is permanent? Can you now agree once and for all that you don’t know ball? ![]() |
BARAJ92:Of course, they are not the gold standard. I can count about 5 elite DMs in the PL that do a better job than the total output of McFred. I have said it here time and time again that McFred does the job of one DM. However, the two of them are the best we have got. Ole may be called stupid but he’s completely correct by playing McFred all the time. He doesn’t have a better combo. Their combo might struggle in ball progression but they offer the best defensive shield to the back 4. BARAJ92:This is a good point but you know it’s never going to happen except it’s forced by a natural hazard(injury or suspension to either of Pogba/Bruno or injury to both). Carabao Cup that ought to have given Ole the opportunity to experiment with his midfield combo, he has disgracefully left the competition because of his subzero IQ. He should have played his strongest team against West Ham and hope to get a division 3 side in the next round and use such games to experiment and to give squad players some game time. |
elampiro:How was your McTominay? Was he not on the pitch in the first 70 minutes? How did he fare? Scratch that. McFred played against the part-time graveyard workers of Aston Villa on Saturday, how did they measure up? You said if we have those two in the midfield, we can never lose. What was the outcome on Saturday. They were so shyte that you were embarrassed to come out after the loss. Pogba had one average game today and you are already outside with your Itshekiri wrapper ready to start a civil war against him. elampiro:So one player is the reason United couldn’t keep the ball and were opened up time and time again in the first half. This Pogba agenda of yours is totally embarrassing. Instead of you to blame a manager that cannot organize a team or coach his players to be press-resistant, you are blaming Pogba for United’s woes? ![]() Pogba played as LW on Saturday - your favorites were in the midfield and they were totally destroyed by the mighty Aston Villa. Where was your outrage then? ![]() |
elampiro:Pogba played reasonably well. |
The GOAT - never in doubt!!!! |
Ronaldooooo |
Joezinho:This was exactly the kind of squad he demanded from Woodward, those lunatics said they don’t sign anyone older than 27. Since then, they have signed Ronaldo, Varane, Ighalo, Heathon, etc. They have given new contracts to Mata, Matic, Lee Grant, etc. |
Mrviktor:With 1-1? ![]() |
Joezinho:If Jose had this team we would win the PL or one of the big trophies. This is the best squad United have had in a long time. The CDM hole can be managed by any elite manager. All the optimism that followed Ronaldo’s signing has been extinguished by this lunatic manager. No single United fan still believes Ole can win any trophy this season. Even Gary Neville has given up with only 6 PL games in. |
Joezinho:That’s the plan. He already said it’s not a must win game. |
