If yes, you need to understand the main categories that goal keepers are rated. Below is his card for FIFA 21. He had a rating of 79 and it improved to 81 by the end of the season. I believe he is rated 83 for FIFA 22 mainly because of his speed, reflex and positioning.

But Dybala can go from 78 in FIFA16 to 85 in FIFA 17? With Black people, the ratings are cumulative and it takes a while.

With white boys like Dybala, they can jump 7 points in one season without winning the CL or doing something remarkable.

How’s this question relevant? Players are rated based on their individual performances in the previous season. Mendy outperformed any other GK in Europe. He was good enough to win UEFA’s GK of the year, why are we now imagining him being swapped with Ter Stegen?

Lastly overall rating is not that important if some abilities are high enough for your style of play. Based on last year's game a VVD and other top defenders with high overall rating will be destroyed by pacy forwards (acceleration and speed of over 88) and overall rating of less than 83.

VVD won’t be destroyed because he has high defensive stats(91 DEF, 86 PHY). Use your 99 rated pace striker against VVD controlled by the CPU and VVD will literally eat up your striker. The ratings are very very important.

There’s no way Mendy should be rated 83. If a white English goalkeeper made the same heroics, he would get a higher rating than 83.

How’s UEFA’s GK of the year only rated 83? Ter Stegen is rated 90 and he does nothing season after season. It’s obscene that Ter Stegen who did nothing throughout last season but getting destroyed by Barca’s opponents in Europe is rated 90.

Against teams that are coming to park the bus, we shouldn’t even bother with AWB. Against the top 6 teams, AWB is vital to Ole’s tactics.

Ole’s tactics against top teams is to soak the tension in a low block and spring attack quickly to catch them unaware. It is in those type of games that AWB is gold.

He needs to develop his game going forward though otherwise he will never start for England in big competitions with Trent and co in the squad.

Being good on 1 V 1 defending is different from being a good defender though it is a very important aspect of defending other aspect such as concentration, positioning are as well important why defending.

He has improved his positioning. I remember he used to abandon the back post when defending a cross. I have not seen him do that this season.

Against teams where United are parking the bus or playing a low block, you won’t find any RB better than AWB in England. That’s his expertise.

Has he played in the DM position for United? The correct answer is Yes!!!

Herrera didn't play enough games as a DM for United but he was always very on point when called upon in that position.

I just read alot of comments about Ronaldo's first goal, and also the heavy blame on the goalkeeper for letting the ball slip from his hand which led to the goal.

Firstly, lets look into Greenwood's shooting technique and the goals he's scored from it. He's usually shoot low with power and accuracy.

When he (Mason) cut in and took that shot, the ball was flying low to the left side of the goal post, the goalkeeper saw this and moved a bit from his initial position to make the safe.

But unfortunately, the shot deflected the leg of a Newcastle defender forcing the ball to change direction and met the goalkeeper off balance.

Even though the goalkeeper tried to return to his initial position, his timing had been tampered with and hence the inability to catch the ball properly.

Ronaldo, like a smart striker that he his, had already read the ball even before Mason took the shot, then make a clever run for a possible rebound which indeed came and was well converted.


Before you reply or disagree, I want to be sure you have watched the highlight well enough to catch those tiny details

Even if the first goal was as a result of a goalie mistake, United forced that mistake. Had Greenwood shot off target, the goal wouldn’t have happened.

Ronaldo was the only player that made a move to follow up on that shot. Even the Magpies defenders all had a mannequin challenge. Ronaldo’s intelligence and instincts just smelt something could spill and he benefited from it.

If it was that easy, how come several United players didn’t make the run Ronaldo made? If he wasn’t on the pitch, United wouldn’t have scored from that passage of play.

Kudos to Ronaldo.

Against the big teams, AWB is excellent.

He’s probably the best 1-v-1 defender in Europe. I saw this dude put Sterling in his back pocket. Sterling couldn’t get a sniff around him and that Sterling had been destroying defenders until he faced AWB.

Ole cannot even outperform the previous manager with more or less the same team + £400m and he has no credits in the bank. There’s no evidence or any precedent that Ole is capable - it’s just vibes and insha allah.
