No reasonable woman this day would want to be a full-time housewife and have her husband give her monthly allowance, (except if the monthly allowance was 1 mil naira a month). we women want independence, i mean wat if something happens to the husband and the hungry inlaws come claiming what is not theirs, wat should she do.

Personally after spending more than 5 years earning a BSc. degree and a Master's, i would not want to stay home n be a full-time housewife, i would rather work from home or work limited amount of hours at work.

why don't your friend open up a shop for her, that way she can still practice her profession.

I think it is a good idea, it would teach Nigerians to drive well and obey the law, it should also be implemented in Abuja, cuz the last time i was there people were driving like they were crazy, creating 5 lanes on a 3 way lane even going to the extent of driving on the other side of the road that was meant for cars going a different way. but on the other hand there would be an increase in corruption, where would all the money collected go to, whose pocket.
