Today, many people believe that they are doing God favours.To them, their being saved is a favour to God because God needs them so much.Their living and obeying God is a favour
that they can withdraw at any time that they feel like.Nothing seems to matter to them,at least its their life and therefore nobody should teach them what to do.Giving in church or preaching (if they do it) is out of pity for God
or for the church.This passage above says it is more than that,it is a necessity, yea woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel.Thats the mind of Christ.Lets see that we have the mind of Christ.

There is a right use of a thing.But there could be abuse, disuse and/or misuse of the thing. i.e the wrong use of it.Well, one of the earliest records of anointing is shown in the above passage and the primary purpose is clearly written for our learning.The anointing and gifts given to us by God is not just for show off or worse still for personal aggradisement.
The anointing and the blessings bestowed on us are for sanctifying us.That is, to set us apart, make us different.Where others fail the anointing paves way for our exploits.Where others fall, the anointing makes us stand.Where others are careless and carefree and do anyhow and anything they like, the anointing makes us sober and careful and circumspect.Where the whole world is confused and perplexed, the anointed is confident and praising God.Have you being anointed?,walk worthy of the anointing from today!

This verse is refering to a proud king that was humbled by Godtill he knew.He must have felt that he knew something earlier but God made him to really know that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men.My prayer today is that God will reveal Himself in your life as the ruler.You will know it, not like this king oo but in a pleasant way.Poverty will not rule your life, satan will not rule your life, no suffering,sickness or pain will rule your life.God will take control.And the people around you will know that the most high God rules in your life from today.Amen

If I can remember well,I think Paul wrote that he did the exact opposite.well,I see the , my pastor will not neva tell me about tithes.
fact is the church is run with money wether tithes,offerings gifts etc.Its ignorance or spiritual immaturity that makes people not want to think church runs with moni/to place over emphasis on money.

You must remember that I stated earlier that the soul was rising up, from the toes/feet as if it was trying to get out of the body when it got to the nose, which was the reason Adam sneezed.

Hi,so stop urging people to stop paying tithes.Testimonis continue to abound of how God blesses people who paid their tithes.Tithes was before the Levitical preisthood.you've continually ignored the fact that Abraham paid tithes(not to Levites) and Jacob vowed to SURELY give tithe of all God gave him in Genesis28.This was before Levi was born,not to mention priest Aaron.Others collected and collect tithes,not only levi.The point made in Hebrews is the Superiority of Christ's priesthood, not his disqualification to receive tithes .Get wisdom.

I think if we will not be the usual lazy christian who cant read,the explanations have been clearly made by backslider and co.

-Is Matthew23v1,23 the Word of God and is it part of “teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded Matt28v20?

Lastly,let me say a little on Hebrews 7 which keeps coming up.The purpose of the book was to bring the jews to Jesus as their  mediator.The jews’ relationship with God was through the priests.The writer came to tell them that Jesus had come to take the place of  the priests and sacrifices.That Jesus was and is better than  the priests,than Aaron,Moses,even angels etc.thats the theme.That Jesus is the Way,More superior,qualified than the levites,after the order of Melchisedec to whom Levi paid tithes through Abraham.Notice again that no only levites collect tithes,Melchisedec collects,poor people collect Deut14v28,29,etc,God collects.Tithes just mean 1/10 Heb7v2.Notice v7&8 the verbs are in the present continous.Veril/Surely(v50 till date,he receives them of whom it is witnedssed that he lives.There is made a change of the law v12,what law,the whole bible?No,the OT?No,the 5 books of Moses?No,The 10 laws?No.The law of sacrifice?Yes Heb9v9,10 compare 7v16 and 10v8,9.For a bigger picture,you could read the whole book.Lets rightly divide the Word of truth.It doesn’t contradict but complement each other.God be with You all

Someone said Matthw 23 is before the cross.I must say you do err not knowing the scriptures.Firstsome cut off the OT saying we live in the NT,now you cut off 95%of the 4 gospels,whats remaining?Even in whts left,others come and say ‘what Paul wrote does not apply to us today.Have you read II Timothy3v16 and co, All Scripture is, profitable, for instruction, Abi that’s also just Paul’s opinion to Timothy only.
