i clearly remember telling you at one other time that the Bible was the history of MAN/HUMANS not necessarily satan or rocks. That would have brought you easily home to the point that the sin of humans is what you are referring to. Like you have inferred, satan sinned before man, but man's sin is traced to the first man, Adam.
Heaven is a place where man will not be capable of sin, i think it is better if i keep it simple and one by one that way. After man's creation, there was no sin on earth until Adam and Eve sinned. In other words, it is possible for sin to be taken out of a place or come to a place. In more simpler words, sin can be taken out of "heaven".

I think the problem is difficulty in differentiating rapture and second coming of christ.

At the FIRST coming, Jesus came and stayed on earth. At the SECOND coming, Jesus will come and stay on earth. There is no staying on earth in the rapture.

If you have freewill in heaven, then one must be able to commit sin just as you can on earth. That inability of not being able to commit sin in heaven is the definition of being a robot.

If the god in the old testament killed and ordered men to be killed as a form of justice and the god of the new testament was peaceful and promoted peace, doesn't that imply that the ways of this god changed? Which contradicts the saying that "God never changes"?
A perfect God won't try out different avenues for man to meet up to its standards, like a scientist running various tests and research to find a solution. , A perfect god would just do perfect things that'll never have reasons to be changed.
So it's two things.
Either this god is not perfect and it makes mistakes or they're two different gods.

Interesting conversations. One of my very respected daddies in the Lord believes and teaches that Christians will pass through the Tribulation. Another one of my very respected daddies in the Lord believes and teaches that Christians will not pass through the Tribulation but be raptured before it. They are both "Holiness people" and going to Heaven by God's grace. We know in part, knowledge of doctrine is not a criteria for salvation. Though wrong doctrine can be misleading sometimes.
For me, i also believe that the rapture is before the Great Tribulation. Anyone you believe, be ready. You may even die before any of the events, making your tribulation conviction irrelevant.

I understand the sentiment and I know how terrifying it is to almost lose a loved one. I'm glad your wife could survive this terrible illness called cancer but I need Christians to be careful when telling "testimonies" such as this..

..don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian myself but the truth is, I just find testimonies like this kinda selfish and self-serving. Millions of Christians die everyday... many are even more righteous than you and me..would you say they aren't true believers? Would you say God doesn't love them as much as he loves you and your wife?
What about the millions of unbelievers who have survived cancer and other deadly diseases? Did God choose to save them over His own children who succumbed to the illness and died?

All I'm saying is, people (believer or non believer) will die at their appointed time. Perhaps it's simply not your wife's time return to the earth..

God heals, and testimonies like the OP prove it and encourages someone else. The same sun that provides Vitamins and photosynthesis, some get sunstroke and death from it. The same refreshing water and rain to many drowns some people. The same lighting that gives some people voltage and power caused fire for others. We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard even if only one soul benefits.

The rapture is before the Great Tribulation. Like many have said, the main argument is to be prepared whether before or after.
