I don't think that the people who throw the word around and label themselves feminists even know what it means. People just like to join the bandwagon. |
N0favors:Kudos to you. In these times when many guys are controlled and ruled by sex |
N0favors:So you just bottle it up and try to act cool. You better free yourself and let the emotions out and stop trying to form commando. |
When you say mistake, do you mean you slipped and fell inside her? |
This obsession with women is intense. Guys coming up with well thought out and planned articles about how we work. I feel really honoured and proud right now. Except you ask the creator for a revelation, everything you write is just the usual assumptions filled with big words to make it seem valid and intelligent. But as long as we thrill you, you can keep trying to decipher us. N.B I wonder why i don't see countless threads by women trying to dissect the psychological anatomy of men. We got you guys figured out while you keep trying to figure us out ![]() |
Very pretty. How old? |
She is not into you or her shakara is plenty. Please lose her already, forget her and move on. The funny part is that if after some time...months, years...she sees on your status that you are getting married, she will start trying to warm up to you and win you back. You don't need that kind of babe. Let her keep loving herself alone |
Childofdoom is that you? |
It benefits both. I have seem men who fell apart when they lost their wives. Stop assuming that marriage is for women. All some men do is to drop money. Once their wives are not around, they don't even know where to start from. |
adontcare:Very true at the bolded. They start trying to poison the guy's mind against his wife. That's why it is not advisable for inlaws to live with a couple. One person must poke-nose, feel insulted, try to form alliance, etc. |
Did you guys have marriage counselling in church before the wedding? I am sure he heard when they said couples should avoid interference especially in the first few years. Some even advice that children shouldn't come immediately so that you can bond as husband and wife. Since your husband isn't listening, you could speak to your counsellor or a family member that he respects to call them to order. And meanwhile, that house is yours and not your inlaw's. Please let him know his place. When your hubby comes back and he follows him to the room, please interrupt them EVERYTIME. Ask him how his day was and make small talk. Ask the brother to excuse you guys. When he says something about the food, ignore him. Some silence speak volumes. He will get it. If he tries to override your suggestions or make one, tell him that you appreciate his input but it is not his choice. Get closer to your husband. Always follow him into the room when he gets back and talk with him. You are the wife and not his brother. If you don't put your brother inlaw in his place and take your place, you will find yourself in the background soon. |
EzendiEgo1:Someone like you probably sucked your mother's breast till you were 4 yrs old. |
mimimile93:Taking responsibility doesn't mean the man should leave everything to her and cross his legs. Endure what? Marriage is not a bondage where people go to endure. It is supposed to be two people trying to make life easier and bearable for each other. Mkpo mmo odo. Ndu ke ufok mmi |
freshvine:If he has enough to send to family and friends, that means he has enough to take responsibility in the house and take charge. One of the worst things is to marry a man that has a low sense of responsibility and is selfish. These days we have too many men who want their wives to pay the bills while they sit on their oars and demand respect |
mimimile93:What are you talking about? A man has blatantly refused to spend his money in the house and is ok with the woman shouldering all the responsibilities but is ok spending on friends and other family. And you are talking of equal rights and benefits. Is it this equal or beneficial? Mesiere nde |
Lonestar124:Gerrarahia...i don't know another bondage |
mimimile93:Co wife indeed. When he cannot even take care of only one. You think it is that easy.. Won't it even be better to have a co wife that will share the responsibility? |
Lonestar124:Home alone? What do you mean by scream? |
freshvine:If the OP was a guy, would you give this kind of advice. Try to be reasonable and impartial. She should take responsibility but he shouldn't. |
badwife:Whatever you plan to do, you have to do now. If there are no kids at the moment, how does he plan to provide for them and take responsibility when they come if he cannot take care of you. He is just being selfish. And please stop tolerating the malice keeping behaviour...it is a childish and annoying behaviour. |
IamPlato:Lol...why? |
It is just unfortunate that you have been taken for granted. I can imagine how you feel. Obviously your husband has relaxed on taking responsibility because you have shown that you are capable enough and you have family support. While you worry about paying the bills, he is giving friends and family money and probably saving. You need to wise up. You need to save and also develop yourself. Talk to him first about taking responsibilty and if he still refuses to contribute, you should let him worry about paying the bills. Stop shouldering all the responsibilities henceforth. Take care of yourself. Buy new clothes, make your hair, go to the spa. You cannot be selfless and your husband will be acting selfish |

We don't know your girlfriend. You know her and should know what will get to her. You can also ask her sisters/friends. We are just mere strangers and we don't know her preferences. |
