Forget all the "suffer with me" phenomenon.

Why not try to get a good source of income first before adding a lady to the equation? So that you don't feel incapacitated when you heart is willing but your pocket is not.

Why are you people insulting the man? It is not a new thing for a man to buy a car for his daughter, get her an apartment and a job.
