@Afam Anybody reading your charade of an evasion would think that recent developments have allayed previously expressed concerns by the IAEA.Nothing of the sort has happened. The IAEA Resolution I cited was the lastest IAEA Resolution on Iran. The last DG report had this to say- the Agency remains unable to verify certain aspects relevant to the scope and nature of Iran’s nuclear programme. It should be noted that since early 2006, the Agency has not received the type of information that Iran had previously been providing, including pursuant to the Additional Protocol, for example information relevant to ongoing advanced centrifuge research. Instead of refering us to any new IAEA Resolution acknowledging that there concerns have been allayed, you reacted with empty bluster to cover up your lies. You started this discussion with the question, what concerns?Having seen the explicitly stated concerns, you react like the mendacious person you are. |
@osereka You be imbeccille o,so telling someone Christians shouldnt respond in kind to Muslim violence is wrong? You no get problem with responding in kind,na not retaliating dey annoy you |
Reasonable people go dey discuss, ignoramus go come join. ![]() |
Afam:If it doesn't make sense for Israel to "chase people away" ,it doesn't make sense for the Romans to have chased Jews away-we come back to square one.The point is that the Palestinians acquiesced to the occupation of their land by Egypt and Jordan for 4 decades. |
This will teach them to move their assets to places like China and the Middle East.None of Abacha's loot in the Middle East has ever been questioned |
JustGood:Is he supposed to talk about the 12th Imam on every single occasion.People are unprepared to confront uncomfortable realities."For Germany wants peace, None of us means to threaten anybody." -Adolf Hitler, 1936.Does this excerpt from Hitler prove that he wanted peace? The man talked at lenght about his belief in the 12th Imam in his speech before the UN General Assembly.Somehow, the interview you listened to is supposed to encapsulate all of his belief? |
Afam: You still dey play these your old infantile games? See the text here as well, straight from the IAEA- http://www.iaea.org/Publications/Documents/Board/2006/gov2006-14.pdf (k) Expressing serious concerns about Iran's nuclear programme, and agreeing that an extensive period of confidence-building is required from Iran, Maybe you go talk say na me dey publish the Hindu or na me write the IAEA Resolution ![]() |
There is a legal maxim, you can't aprobate and reprobate .You can't acquiesce to the removal of your soveriegnty to land and 4 decades later, now claim that you should have sovereignty to the same land.So all that happened in the intervening 4 decades should be forgotten? |
If we start killing innocent Muslims,we become like them, which is the worst thing that can happen to us-an erosion of our tolerant values.Muslims can never kill all of us,they can only kill us by making us be like them |
Afam:Na Cosmo FM you dey get your news from? Here is a text of an IAEA Resolution on Iran (K)Expressing serious concerns about Iran's nuclear programme, and agreeing that an extensive period of confidence-building is required from Iran, http://www.thehindu.com/thehindu/nic/iaea.htm Instead of confidence building,he is busy telling us about how the 12th Imam will save humanity. |
Not since the prime minister of the tiny Caribbean island of Grenada presented an address claiming that UFOs posed a mortal threat to the future of mankind has the United Nations been treated to such a bizarre spectacle. Many people believe the greatest threat to world peace concerns Iran's nuclear programme, so there was understandably great interest at this week's general assembly in New York when the country's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, took the platform. But instead of seeking to reassure delegates that Iran's nuclear intentions were purely benign, Mr Ahmadinejad took advantage of his official visit to a country deemed – in the lexicon of the Iranian Revolution – "the Great Satan" to embark on a discourse about the wonders of the 12th Imam. For those unacquainted with the more obscure tenets of Islamic theology, the 12th Imam is held by devout Shi'ite Muslims to be a direct descendant of the Prophet Mohammed who went into "occlusion" in the ninth century at the age of five and hasn't been seen since. The Hidden Imam, as he is also known by his followers, will only return after a period of cosmic chaos, war and bloodshed – what Christians call the Apocalypse – and then lead the world into an era of universal peace. Rumours abound of Mr Ahmadinejad's devotion to the 12th Imam, and last year it was reported that he had persuaded his cabinet to sign a "contract" pledging themselves to work for his return. Another example of his messianic tendencies surfaced after 108 people were killed in an aircraft crash in Teheran. Mr Ahmadinejad praised the victims, saying: "What is important is that they have shown the way to martyrdom which we must follow." For many of the hundreds of delegates who attended Mr Ahmadinejad's speech to the UN this week, his discourse on the merits of the 12th Imam finally brought home the reality of the danger his regime poses to world peace. Rather than allaying concerns about Iran's nuclear ambitions, Mr Ahmadinejad spoke at length about how a Muslim saviour would relieve the world's suffering. The era of Western predominance was drawing to a close, he said, and would soon be replaced by a "bright future" ushered in by the 12th Imam's return. "Without any doubt, the Promised One, who is the ultimate Saviour, will come. The pleasing aroma of justice will permeate the whole world." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml;jsessionid=BZ43B440BTK1VQFIQMGSFFWAVCBQWIV0?xml=/opinion/2007/09/28/do2804.xml |
Afam:What has Bush got to do with a thread concerning Ahmadinejad and Yar'adua? Are you uncomfortable that the man you are defending has lunatic views? Rather than allaying concerns about Iran's nuclear ambitions, Mr Ahmadinejad spoke at length about how a Muslim saviour would relieve the world's suffering. Maybe na Muslim saviour go relieve Nigeria's poverty |
Go back and read the statement you seem to be having problems with. If you think like a human being should then you will understand that single statement. The statement has not been updated or changed. Here is your earlier statement. May be because they didn't see Egypt and Jordan as enemies and more importantly they were not being killed and maimed by these countries. Now that it has been pointed out to you that these countries have been responsible for many massacres of Palestinians, you now changed tack.Killing thousands,is that not killing and maiming ? I agree people reserve the right to react how they want to illtreatment but by failing to decouple Palestinian claims for statehood from Jordan and Egypt's claims untill 1988,they allowed facts on the ground to fossilise against them,a case of self harm.I guess their animus towards Israel is driven by the fact that, unlike Jordan and Egypt, the Israelis are Infidel Arabs |

Where is Denex when we need him. Can't he see that Osisi and Davidylan could have been killing people in Kano? |
vigasimple:You obviously heard wrong.Either the news report was wrong or you misheard what was said. The gas we flare is not worth anything near $1billion per day. Nigeria is not a rich country. One can say we have the potential to be rich but we are not yet rich.If you work out the Govt receipts from oil and divide it by the number of our population, you will see that we are actually poor |
@ritchboi You are an inbred nincompoop, with emphasis on the poop ![]() |
Una suppose dey hide the fact that the country is 47 years old. |
@ritchboi Just because you are the product of an incestuous affair doesn't mean you must act true to type. |
Did you know that the Chelski manager,Avram Grant, was a character in Danger Mouse?
|
The only people celebrating are the corrupt political elite who have benefited the most since independence. |
If Giggs shouldn't play, who should play in his place?Nani or Anderson? From what I have seen of those two, they are not ready yet to be starting.Alternatively,Hargeaveas and Carrick can both start but that will leave us short of creativity |
mukina2:Na true o,see as Gunners dey complain about the list ![]() |
Giggs looked disinterested. He is useless on the flanks and like Nedved with Juve, should be moved to a central role |
Arse-anal fans don't like being confronted with the truth.Cesc is not even a starter for the national team.Is he really better than Elano of City? |
There was panic in Tudun Wada Local Government area of Kano State yesterday as youths unleashed terror on Christians living in the area. The action was as a result of speculations that a Christian teacher in the area drew a cartoon of Prophet Muhammad and displayed it in his sleeping room in the area. The protesting youths caused serious pandemonium. Ten shops belonging to Igbo traders in the area were set on fire. The cartoonist was said to have relocated to the house of the district head for safety, before the intervention of the police. The police are now on red alert in the town to prevent escalation of the crisis. THISDAY gathered that an emergency security meeting was yesterday quickly arranged by the joint security team in the state to ensure that the crisis did not escalate to other parts of the state. The police spokesman in Kano, Baba Mohammed declined to speak to THISDAY. In 2004, Kano became a battle ground as Muslim youths attacked non-indigenes that mostly live in Sabon-Gari area. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=90757 Na "Aggresive Misunderstanders" of Islam we suppose call these youths? |
Clear goal scored by Ljunberg yesterday.Everytime Gunners are in a tight situation, the ref is always there to assist them ![]() |
Manchester United keeper Edwin Van Der Sar has been ruled out of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Roma at Old Trafford with a toe injury. The Dutchman suffered the setback during the first half of United's 1-0 win over Birmingham at St Andrews which lifted them back into second place in the Barclays Premier League. Van Der Sar continued between the posts until half-time, but was then replaced for the second 45 minutes by Tomasz Kuszczak. His injury took the shine off a fortuitous single-goal victory courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo's 51st-minute strike. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "Van Der Sar has damaged his toe. To what extent, we are not sure. We will send him for a scan but he will definitely be out on Tuesday. "It is a worry to lose a man of his experience, but Tomasz is very able and we are pleased we've got someone as good as him." They say Kenyon and Roman were verbally abused. Chelski fans should mind how they behave towards Roman,if they piss him off,he will simply leave the club in a lurch Abramovich might be regretting his populist decision to watch his team's goalless draw with Fulham among the hardcore fans in the Shed End. As Drogba saw red for landing his studs on Chris Baird's right shoulder and Fulham came close to ending Chelsea's long unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge, supporters turned on the owner. One threw his shirt to the ground and screamed abuse at the Russian: many, many more sang Mourinho's name to Abramovich's face. At the end of the game, according to an eye witness, chief executive Peter Kenyon was verbally abused and spat at. http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2180213,00.html Roman is virtually the manager at the moment ![]() Terry's absence will prove a further test of Abramovich's increasingly hands-on role in the direction of the football department. The oligarch has become a regular attendee at first-team training in the aftermath of Mourinho's dismissal as manager 12 days ago and he selected a team for Grant to face Manchester United in last weekend's 2-0 loss at Old Trafford. |
I haven't seen today's game but I was a bit dissapointed by the result.I don't want this season to be a one horse race like last season.I can't figure out why Inter can't transfer their good domestic form to Europe. If they do,they are as good as anyone in Europe. Roma,Milan and Juve are not up to the task of catching up with Inter over the course of the season.Milan's ageing players can't cope with the rigours of a full domestic season.Juve also lack quality. They still depend a lot on the likes of Nedved,Del Piero and Trezeguet.Andrade's injury leaves them desperately short in defence.Roma still lack that extra quality. They lost a very good defender in Chivu and Juan is not of the same class. I agree that Ibra has to be the best striker in the world at the moment. If he finds some consistency, his reputation around the world will soar, particularly if he does well in the Champions League |
ritchboi:You have to go back to Leeds Utd in 91/92 to find a club that finished outside the top 3, winning the League the next season.Arsenal won the League in 98 despite finishing 3rd the previous season. However, they finished 3rd on goal difference. |
medube:Liverpool have bought well and I see them going far. That's what is wrong with most analysis of football, people have knee jerk reactions.I guess Liverpool's dour performance has led people to conclude they might not go so far in the UCL. Chelski is hard to tell because of all the uncertainty sorrounding their manager.Ithink all the English sides are capable of winning.I still think its between Barca,Milan,Madrid and Inter |
