@ocho cinco What are we to make of your broad brushing of posters on this thread as religious extremists? Acute ignorance of grammar? You are one of those people who use the English language in a way that is actually meaningless in a bid to impress. "Two poles of religious extremists". . . . you must have felt good about yourself. . . problem is, such posts constitute balderdash. PS:Laudate is a confirmed ignoramus, she has been chasing me around NL for ages. ![]() |
I thought it was remarkable how Denex copious referal to anti-Semitic literature was eagerly endorsed by the "teeny bopper",WesleyanA. ![]() |
ocho cinco:What is clear is that you don't know the meaning of words you use.Nobody here, not even Denex I despise, can be branded a "religious extremist". Laudate is a blithering ignoramus who excells in matters of tribalism in Nigeria but is remarkably clueless about the outside world. |
RichyBlacK:Iran illegally occupies Arab land, Arabstan and several United Arab Emirate islands.I'm sure you no sabi because CNN no dey mention am ![]() |
In International Law,statehood is a matter of law and fact.Somaliland is de facto a state but a province of Somalia de jure, same goes for Kurdistan,Iraq . The Vatican is as a matter of law a state but in reality, its a sprawling complex of ancient buildings akin to the campus of a major University. |
I'm pressed for time because of my coming exams but let me as briefly as possible answer some of the issues "copied and pasted" by RichyBlack(Its amazing how the Pro-Palestinian Jew hating mob can't think for themselves, they always rely on copy and paste to articulate their points) ![]() 1. Why is it so difficult for Israel to return to the pre-1967 borders?Resolution 242 requires Israel only to withdraw as part of a peace agreement with the Arabs in which the Arabs have recognised Israel's right to exist.Since Israel has no unilateral obligation to withdraw,it won't do so. Prior to 1967,Israel had no peace from the Arabs so its subsequent occupation of land in 1967 cannot be used as justification for Arab violence. What is the point of withdrawal if Isreal gets nothing in return? 2. Will returning to the pre-1967 borders threaten the existence of Israel?Yes,the Golan Heights and West Bank are of key strategic military value. They gave the Arab forces an advantage because of their topography an location. 3. Will it cause more problems for Israel? How?For the above mentioned reasons. For instance,Syrian artillery regiments used to rain down shells on the Israeli civilian populace from the Golan Heights.Withdrawing without concessions on the other side,as required by Resolution 242,will be harmful to Israel just as we saw in Gaza. 4. Won't it create more goodwill for Israel? Why not?Tibetans have a lot of goodwill but goodwill doesn't keep a people secure. Its frankly a stupid question. 5. Does Israel plan to hold on to the West Bank indefinitely?Everybody, except the hopelessly ignorant, knows Israel doesn't plan to hold W.Bank indefinitely 6. When will Israel own up to the truth that it is the only nuclear-armed state in the middle-east?Israel,sorrounded by nations that called for its total destruction,is not obliged by international law to reveal its nuclear status.I suppose the anti-Israel mob have an idea of what International law entails. 7. Since democracy (allegedly) is the West's excuse for interfering with the matters of almost any state, why wasn't the Palestinian government supported after free and fair elections (http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Hamas_wins_Palestinian_election) ushered in a Hamas majority? The elections were neither free or fair for parties outside of Hamas or Fatah.Secular parties were regularly intimidated by Hamas.Having said that, part of democratic principles is the freedom to deal or not deal with certain political entities. If the West doesn't want to deal with Hamas, its their entitlement 10. Where do we draw the line as to what Israel can do and can't do in the name of "right to defend itself"? Israel has committed the following illegal/immoral actions:Politicians involved in planning terror attacks on Israel have no excuse when Isreal targets them. ii. Provocative actions like the recent bombing raid on "suspected" Syrian nuclear plantsDon't cry more than the bereaved, not even Syria is making much of an issue over the incident. iii. Torture of Palestinian detainees http://www.counterpunch.org/madsen05102004.htmlWhere there is torture,it is to be condemned. However,Isreal reserves the right to aggressively interogate, just like other Arab states do,any suspected terrorist involved in planning mass murder in Israel. The evidence on torture is tenous at best. iv. Suppression of free speech, using minions like Alan Dershowitz. For example, the recent case in DePaul University, in which NormanTo criticise Israel for the lack of free speech is laughable,Israel has the most protection for free speech in the Middle East and is the onl democracy.
@Jackal Slow your roll on the Alves guy 7 goals in one match is not a big deal let him try one goal in 7 straight matches
Alves goal scoring consistency is not in doubt, the question is whether he can transfer it to the Premiership. He hasn't done it on the international level with Brazil and that is the main reason no big team came in for him.Afterall,Gabriel Okolosisi was said to have scored 26 goals in 10 games for Asec Mimosas ![]() |
RichyBlacK:Can you in all sincerity compare Saudi Arabia(a nation of 27 million and 2.1 million sq km of land) to Vatican City(a city of 788 and 0.44KM of land) ?You have to agree with me that only a rabid imbecille will be comparing the 2. |
Denex referal to the Vatican was to justify the fact that Saudi Arabia,a nation of 27 million inhabitants, prohibits Bibles and Churches The comparisons are fundamentally flawed.Yes,you can carry a Koran or Torah in public in Vatican City.Non-Catholics are allowed into the Vatican City and you can proselytise Islam in the Vatican City,no law prohibits such. Of course there are no mosques in the Vatican,it has only 108 acres of land and frankly,no new building-mosque or Catholic Church-can be constructed within the Vatican.Unless Muslims wish to demolish buildings in the Vatican in order to build mosques. A more realistic comparison would have been the Vatican and Mecca, even there you would find worse restrictions compared to the Vatican.Saudi Arabia should only be compared to Italy |
Afam:Since when was it the duty of someone disputing a claim to bring proof. The onus is on you making the claims to prove it by citing independent sources that corroborate such claims. If I was to "copy and paste" an article from a right-wing site making certain claims, its my duty to find independent sources corroborating such claims, otherwise we can keep making all sorts of claims all day long on NL,while telling those disputing our claims to prove us wrong. In your initial article, you noted that the Washington Post cited another reason for the brouhaha. The question is,why should I disbeleive a reputable media orgainisation in favour of a known leftist conspiratorialist? This was the same man that told us last year that Karl Rove was already indicted and that Fitzgerald will soon announce it. |
@Uche2Nna This is a football thread.'Civilised conduct' goes out the window when it comes to football. All rival fans are wankers and nobody has time for niceties, besides, this is not real life so no sane person takes anything said here seriously @Jackal Don't you think Alves will end up like Mateja Kezman? His performances for Brazil have been less than satisfactory. His attitude is also questionable,he refused to return back to his club after he failed to get a transfer. He reminds of Mario Jardel |
@RichyBlack Does "opednews" constitute independent corroboration?Wanye Madsen Report features in opednews.Wayne has a reputation as a rabid leftist conspiratorialist whose many claims have turned out be false |
Anybody can see the warning signs that the Gunners lightning start is gradually unwinding. Its not just about this game but the last 3. |

Big B1:You must be having a laugh.Videoing Ijaw youths is sedition? They are accused of espionage and no where has sedition been mentioned, for one thing their action couldn't amount to sedition for anyone who has the vaguest idea as to what sedition involves. If they are spying, they must be spying on someone's behalf. On whose behalf are they spying? |
As long as their intention is to expose Nigerian dirty laundry to the world without the consent of Nigerian officials, their action remains illegal.Stop reasoning like a stark illiterate. What law can you cite that prohibits the above.Since when did inhabitants of Nigera need Govt consent to film our "dirty laundry". Do you know how much damage this illegal filming could brought to our nation?Barrister BigB1,you keep talking about illegality, which law prohibits what the arrested where doing? |
Smack 'em hard. |
I love this story:Gulf Muslims get fatter during month of fasting http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L27782637.htm |
Although considered as holy in Islam and mentioned in the Quran dozens of times, the Bible is banned in Saudi Arabia. The Bible in Saudi Arabia may get a person killed, arrested, or deported. In September 1993, Sadeq Mallallah, 23, was beheaded in Qateef on a charge of apostasy for owning a Bible. http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110006712 So Laudate, you really think the Saudis don't prohibit the Bible? ![]() |

You want evidence that White Supremacists hate Blacks? Here is something written by a man you keep quoting about our race http://www.theamericanbible.com/revelationsofweltner.htmlace- |
RichyBlacK:In the Middle East, wherever Arabs reside with Non-Arabs,there is conflict.Think of Kurds and Arabs in Syria and Iraq.Arabs vs Persians in Iran,Arabs vs Berbers in Algeria,Arabs vs Nubians in Sudan.e.t.c Is it up to the Jews to solve all these problems? The conflict between Israel and Palestine has claimed the lives of 100,000 Palestinians since 1922.That is quite a lot but remember 2 million died in South Sudan,150,000 in Darfur since 2003 and 100,000 in Algeria since 1993.The point is that other conflicts raging in the Arab world are more costly in terms if lives. lliteracy is a subjective measure, that has lots of Western (Judeo-Christian) bias. The figures I quoted came from the OIC,an Islamic organisation. |
davidylan:He is telling me there are 1 billion Muslims when most of them are stark illiterates and gross underacheivers. If Muslims are 1.4 billion, what about ants and flies that are in the trillons? ![]() |
@RichyBlack Every race on earth had slave owners.Africans owned slaves as well. However,Arab slave trade took in 11-14 million Africans as slaves. To put it into perspective, the US took in 700,000 slaves from Africa. In today's world,it is not the Jews that killed 2 million Africans in South Sudan and 150,000 in Darfur. Its not the Jews that have African slaves in Mauritania as we speak. I see you are quoting White Supremacists again, you just quoted Jewwatch owned by a member of the National Alliance,Frank Weltner Classic! Why don't you just quote the KKK? |
I no sabi whether RichyBlack na Mahometan or Dhimwit? Richy, which of the 2 are you? |
RichyBlacK:It must have been the Jews that killed those folks in Kano. Was it the Jews that ethnically cleansed the whole North Africa turning it into Arab land? Could it be the Jews that enslaved 11-14 million Africans in the Arab slave trade, causing the deaths of millions of Africans http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_slave_trade There are only two reasons why Jews can't show their true color of violence:1.The Jews were not violent prior to the Holocaust 2.The Jews used to be same in number as the Arabs but yet the Arabs managed to kill tens of millions.Even Hutus,Serbs et al who are fewer than Jews have killed more people. Their arrogance in believing that they are God's chosen people has made God turned His back on them.A people who have won 25% of the Nobel Prizes and are extremely succesful can't be dismissed as cursed. If God has turned his back on them, what will you say about Nigeria where poverty, violence and corruption reign supreme? At least my Muslim brothers acknowledge that Jesus Christ (Nabi Isa) as a prophet of God.I don't think anyone who truly believes in Jesus can be this hateful towards Jews. There are over a billion Muslims today and growing! And only 15 million Jews. . . . yet see who has achieved more.According to the OIC,58% of Muslims are illiterate(by far the highest case of illiteracy amongst any major religious group on the planet) You forgot to mention that there are trillions of ants. . . . its not the number that counts but the quality. |
RichyBlacK:So the Arabs were unhappy, so they disregarded a UN Resolution recognising Israel and after their military adventure ,amidst wild boasts of wiping out all Jews, failed so remarkably, they now want Israel to abide by UN Resolutions, which same Resolution they rejected ab initio. That's not how life works. You bear the consequences of your action. If they had simply taken what they had been given by the UN,they won't be here moaning about their present position. Knowing you, there will be no point in going into details about the substance of Resolution 242 which does not require Israel to pull out unilaterally. |
