This is absolutely true. Nollywood fans related with nollywood classics because such movies were rich storylines that were well directed, with a strong cultural background. The ONLY weakpoint being poor cinematography, which is understandable. What we have now are poor stories, flamboyantly delivered with big budgets, and lacking clear direction. King of boys, wedding party come to mind.
The fact that all that some of the new generation makers have to do is to remake living in bondage and Nneka the pretty serpent of 30 yrs is an evidence that many of the current generation movie makers are found wanting in the creative art of storytelling.

Even the old movies were bizarre, especially projecting the Africa culture In a bad light. I.e. all old women were witches, cat & owl were demonic, mother-in-laws vs daughter-in-law saga, rituals, religious supremacy, etc. Very few could be selected even among the previous movies. The focus was mainly for the money hence daily releasing of new films that features nearly same actor.

Even your president & his guys top the list of those running there for medical tourism. Which of those country's govt have their families in Nigeria even for study. Africa is just a reserve for the west. Until they wake up if that can ever be possible.

Yes, you guys don't care that is if you're talking for the govt. Citizens have become use to self help when it comes to health, security, scratching for a living, etc. Thus many won't even visit the hospital not until they can't move themselves. That is what political inflicted poverty have caused to the mind of the average Nigerian. There has been a wide gape between the government & the people. No one will trust a government that doesn't use the same health system to refer anything to them. How can you visit a hospital with your kid only for you to see the CMD taking his child to another hospital for the same type of treatment. By the way, Nigeria vaccine isn't recognized by some western countries. By the way, if not for fear of travel ban & perhaps access to grants, they won't still care.!!!

A consultant friend in luth told me the other day that their covid treatment facility is shut down. As in they are not opened to treat anyone. Inshort fgn no de treat anyone again, all man for himself.

Exactly my point, the people have been surviving & living as a government for themselves. They consider Koro a lesser issue compare to malaria, fever, cholera, infant mortality, malnutrition, hunger, insecurities, etc that have been reducing the population daily. By the way, most vaccines require ice cold temperature to keep them valid. Can one be so sure about the dispatch channel down to storage & perhaps point of use giving Nigeria for what they are. Secondly, if not for travel ban highly feared by the govt and maybe loan restrictions they won't border because they don't care about the people. Government should loot the vaccine just as they will do if it was food items or money. Moreover, not all western countries acknowledge Nigeria's vaccination. Nigeria dey somehow abeg!

Forget those religion businessmen, any logical reasoning will not consider religious sentiment. My thought is, how come suddenly govt has now become so caring about her citizens?! Thereby seeking ways to enforce or force this vaccine on the citizens? There were more challenging issues like malaria, fever, cholera, infant mortality, malnutrition, hunger, etc. That have & will keep wiping people in numbers. The west never border to ban those criminal politicians who never fixed those issues, after all it isn't affecting them directly and might aid in population control in Africa. Now that covid has come and it might affect them, they have starting banning and the ever useless govt are now acting because they can't do without medical tourism, borrowing, aids, etc. And also the looting that comes with covid. The truth is, there is a high level of distrust between the citizens & the government. And nothing can be done to change that until Nigerians start seeing responsible leaders. If Nigerians threaten to boycott the use of MTN sims. They will quickly backtrack.

Exactly, they were very observant to notice the behavioral changes even before the worse happen. I can't imagine myself not discussing about school activities with my kids irrespective of whether I travel.
