Are you aware NGO need funds to survive? Stop all collections in religious houses and see how they closed down. There is no sentiment in business, it is either running cost is less than income or the business close down totally in which case everyone including the owner. Or would you rather people are owed salaries for months! People say the donation should have been used for staff, that is because they don't know business-politics. The said money is coming back from same channel with interest. The government remains the devil in all of this, by not closing international borders on time and still looting and playing politics in the face of the pandemic.

You all can see the handshake with Banks that donated billions. These donors will for sure get their money back through back channelling.

The most unfortunate of them all are churches who donated to government while members are suffering. Onething is clear, tithes and offerings will not be business as usual. Members are wiser.

Don't get me wrong, I would never support anything that will negatively affect people's lives, knowing fully well that those sacked may never recover from it physically or psychologically. Many weren't aware that UBA did sacked a lot staff before the Covid. Secondly, access just acquired Diamond and if you are observant. You will see that in some places access is nearly opposite diamond or beside. How can they keep two close branches running? They would have still close some branches normally and staff laid off, but the Covid only contributed to the escalation. My major blames go to the government who have continue to do nothing by action to keep businesses at ease. This is only in one bank, what of other sectors?

No matter what Access bank says now d most of us believe it's d CBN intervention dat stopped d impending job losses at Access bank and will only see this their belated explanation as a face saving attempt. At first bolded, CBN is only helping access bank for the emotional control, regrettably the sack is inevitable at the moment. It is only a stupid government that won't support businesses at this time and think it just by saying don't sack by mouth. Last bolded is the best remedy. It isn't just access bank, UBA did their before the Covid, and other will following access bank. It may now be in phases. No bank can survive without deposit.

Oga no need behaving like Nigeria politicians. You're a businessman and business is strictly for money making. You are simply doing what you see best to maintain your business for the now due to the obvious simple! Major bank transactions have been withdrawals and insignificant deposits because businesses are closed, so how would you make money if your running cost is high. It is the government that has failed the people. In a sane place, they should have been doing everything to keep businesses comfortable buy here, they are looking to businesses to beg from. And the reality is that salaries will be cutdown and many will still be sacked regrettably. Nigeria remained one of the riskiest place to fully depend on one source of income every employee should know that by now.

The staff should already know this by now going by trend and they should have by now intensified alternative plans. Without the Covid they would have been gone in phase.

Some people don't really need advise because their head is too underdeveloped for it. I personally know 3 persons who went into artisans the same time I got into school, before my graduation they were all established. A friend who is a fashion designer changes cars at will, owns a nice house, etc. He has several graduates currently as trainees.
