Ajayi doesn’t speak Hebrew, Yahweh is of Hebrew origin not English.
Satan means satani not esu

No, it was not the white, it was ajayi, and it has been corrected.
Where in esu mythology did you see him fighting eledumare? As Satan was fighting yahweh?
U still make dsame mistake...like u don't know who ur talking to...did I say I support the interference...no I didn't like it...but that was wat happened...so,why asking as though I said the Satan in the Bible and esu in the traditional religion is dsame...except the name...and dats the interference I was talking about...

You said language interference?
How can language interference happen if we don’t speak that language before? When in Yoruba history did we call Yahweh ?
Do you know what language interference mean?
Are u this (o will be polite) wow...
Was the Yoruba Bible interpreted from Hebrew? Or English?
English it is...was Yahweh or God in the English version?
God it is...could Ajayi Crowder who translated from English to Yoruba not have understand both languages?
Yes he does...
So, Ajayi Crowder understands and speak both English and Yoruba...so, language interference is possible and probably higher...

Isnt it...since he spoke both languages...

Yahweh is a Semitic word, can you tell me the connection of Semitic language to Yoruba language and Igbo language?

Lol...inav told u before that I am a graduate in Linguistics...u just want to learn from me...I know...it's good...but don't b (I will be polite) rude in doing day...
When a person speaks more than one language and one is a native language...in interpretation and translation...there is bound to be language interference...which happened wen Ajayi Crowder or earlier than that wen the Christians brought Christianity to Nigeria...Yoruba in the language interference don't know how to interpret God to Yoruba decided to borrow the Yoruba name God (Olorun) and i am sure dsame happened in Igbo,Ibibio etc and accross many place

You mean there was a country called Israel during Joseph period and the capital was Samaria? Bwahahahah
Ahhhh...nawa for u ooo...I only told u wat took the Jews(offspring and family of Jacob) to Egypt...dats all...wen dey came from egypt they (Jews) form the territory of Israel with the Moabites and Northern Edomites (offsprings of Esau) who live in southern hilly part of the territory while the Jews stayed in the North...there were always conflict between the Moabites and the Jews throughout the time of the Judges...but during the time of David...he fought and overcame... Solomon did not fight a single war...but after the death of Solomon...Rehoboam(the son of Solomon) was to be king over all but Joroboam a rebel had the support of the majority...that was when one started ruling from Samaria and the other from Jerusalem...
They wiere led into captivity after some time to Assyria...some none native from Assyria came to reside in the land(particularly in Samaria) and they were continually being hunted down by mysterious lions until a prophet told the king of Assyria that the God of the Jews were angry...so he consulted and the prophet said a Jewish priest must be sent to offer sacrifices to the Jewish God...and they did...and the lion stopped killing them...the Mountain in Samaria where the sacrifices took place was wat was called Mount Gerizim in Samaria...dat the woman of Samaria in John 7 was talking to Jesus about...
After the captivity, the Jews came back to Jerusalem...but the new Samaria natives who were not natives but people of Assyria but now are native of Samaria did not live the land but continue to serve the God of Israel on the mount Gerizim and not in Jerusalem like the Jews...since then the Jews don't see the Samarians as they brother but aliens...

I just summarize the whole book of Judges,Kings and chronicle together for u like dat...

BetterHeadline:
Who is allah? Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?

A Christian friend of mine argued that Christians and Muslims worship the same God, but merely defer on how to go about worshipping Him. Is that true? Well, let's find out.

Who is allah?

Today we learned that Allah is a Deceiver: The best of them.

Who exactly is the deceiver?

Need I say more? I need not. Now you who 'The Deceiver' is.

To answer the question: Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?
The answer is : I believe you know now the answer.

How The Deceiver deceives muslims

Firstly, Jesus isn't the messenger of allah; God forbid.
Secondly, this sura insults Jesus as a coward who ran away from death and had an innocent body-double killed his place. This is insulting.
Jesus died on our behalf, and this is one of the pillar of Christianity.
From this sura we learned that Jesus (The Prince of Peace) is different from Muslim's jesus.

Biblical Warning Against The Deceiver's Version Of Jesus

Here we learned The deceiver is . . . well a deceiver, and his version of Jesus never existed.

Also pay attention to the last sentence: "Their end will be what their actions deserve."
Their actions include what's happening in the middle-belt, what recently happened in Owo, the lynching of Deborah Samuel, etc.
Do ask yourself? What do their actions deserve? The answer is up to you. But remember: Heaven helps those who help themselves.

Those of us who are aware of Muhammad's (Allah's apostle) obsession of angel Gabriel will understand this message below

The selfless Christian will save this message and then show them to our Christian brethren so that they may be save from the ignorance of Islam, but the selfish Christian will keep this message to himself only.
Dear Better headline
I am not sure u know me or av followed my write ups and comments but I believe many people on this forum av and they can attest to my objectivity in biblical and analytical interpretations...I am a believer and a good one at that...
Now u asked a question...let's go into the Bible which we both believe in I believe...

In John 4:19-22
[19]“Sir,” the woman said, “you must be a prophet.
[20]So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim, where our ancestors worshiped?”
[21]Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem.
[22]You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews.

If u are a good student of biblical history u will know that the Samarian lives in the southern part of Israel and the Jews live in the Northern part...they were both Israelites (Samaritans and Jews)..they speak dialect of the same language and they make reference to God in the same name (YHWH) but if u read the about passage I highlighted...they grey area is not the God they serve but how and where...one serve in Mount Gerizim, the other serve in the Temple in Jerusalem...if u read 1kings and Judges very well u will know how Mount Gerizim became a place of worship for a time instead of the Temple in Jerusalem. These two different way of worship and show of superiority led to the grave and enormous enemity between the Jews and the Samarians that they got nothing to do with each other...but Jesus made the woman know the major difference is the fact that the Samarians serve God but they don't know him (they adopted the religion from the Jews without personal encounter themselves,if u read Judges and 1 Kings u will still understand the story) but the Jews know that God personally from the days of their fathers...cos salvation belong to the Jews (Jacob offspring who is the child with the promise).
Here is the point...it is not in the name... language interfere e.g Olorun in Yoruba, Abassi in South south,Chukwu in Igbo,Allah in Hausa...all indigenous church use all these names in their language to refer to YHWH but that doesn't me they serve the traditional gods those names were originally attributed to...if dat is so...we are all darmed due to our languages...
Not in the name but the process and dats where we differ... but I will stop here because the question was in the name not the process...wen d need to explain, compare and contrast both processes...I will explain that area...even Christians in far north when dey speak Hausa call God Allah...it is language

And lastly,i don't wanna be bias,so let me just say this...u distorted those Quranic verses u quoted up there...reasons from the Bible...
If u read 1 Kings 22 very well wen God wanted to destroy Ahab...read it from verse one to get the details but I will quote
1 Kings 22:23
[23]“So you see, the lord has put a lying spirit in the mouths of all your prophets. For the lord has pronounced your doom.”

Now does that mean God is a liar for decieving Ahab into battle so he will be destroyed.

I can list many more...we don't av to be bias...
I am ur brother
Peace to u all

"Beside God" is very correct.
Bosom connotes closeness. For instance, bosom friend.
Is your bosom friend living inside you?
Luke 16:22-23,is Lazarus living inside Abraham?
Una want to change holy scripture to suit Trinity GIBBERISH.

Wrong !

Correct rendition of Phil 2:6
Although he (Jesus) was in the form of God"
-Bill Mounce Greek interlinear Bible.

"The word was with the God" at his Father's side, not living inside the God.

Your Bible says "the Word" referencing a Being, hence the use of definite article "the" attached to "Word" as in the Word,a person.
John 17:17 (God's command, instructions etc.& John 1:1, the word, a person, entity. pls note the difference.
Is Jesus Christ at Deuteronomy 6:6-8?
No.

No.
John 10:33,1 Corinthians 8:4-5,Acts 12:22-23, John 1:1,Acts 28:6,(in screenshots) several scriptures evidences PROVEN the correct rendition of John 1:1 must follow.

Faulty claim based on inaccurate translation of Phillippian 2:6.

Oga, this comment doesn't stand up to scrutiny from the holy scripture.

Shalom.
Dear Janosky
I can't be making repetition...just go read my comments...u will av full understanding...and u can just use bossom to mean just bossom friend, bossom closeness ,beside...check the etymology of the word and how it is bn used in the passage...if i say the food in my bossom...do I mean food close to me or beside me?...it means the food in my belly, inside me...
So u can't retrict the meaning to merely closeness...check the etymology, compare with other scriptures like when Jesus said I am in the Father and the Father in me...does he mean I am beside the Father and the Father is beside me...then u can't objectively decide which synonym fits bossom between "in the Father " and "beside the Father"...

Hoping u will be objective in ur decision...but it's a difficult choice u alone can take

johnw47:
God's Word has always existed in God

God bought His Word out of Himself to be a seperate Person

God's Word/Son cannot be an angelic being unless God Himself is a angel

God/Creator
angels/created

God is not a created angel so his Son from Himself cannot be a angel

angels and humans are called son's of God
but angels are created from nothing except the Word of God
adam was made from the dust of the earth

the Word is neither created from nothing or made from dust but is from God

so called jw's keep saying Jesus is michael but don't try to give proof, or their secret knowledge when challenged by someone who is able to express well biblical knowledge, such as immaculatesense and others
Dear johnw47
I really do appreciate ur complement...thank u so much...but pls don't let it be as though ur attacking a denomination in itself...I am a Pentecostal and I don't support many of Pentecostal teaching and I use my office to correct some of those teaching to my listeners...no denomination in itself is perfect...any denomination laying claim to perfection is just kidding...but as individuals we must always look aways from denominational bias and focus on Jesus and wat he said in John 4:24
[24]For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

And the meaning is that we must worsho God in the spirit (i.e by the leading of the holy spirit) in us which is our seal and the truth which is the word of God... remember Jesus said "Santify them with the word, they word is truth"...
If a Christian can live his or her life on this instruction of Christ in John 4:24...he is who God wants thus to serve him John 4:23
[23]But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.

Not denominational leanings that have flaws and school of thoughts...it's not that we will not belong to a denomination...but don't think a denomination is ultimate beyond the base which are spirit(holy spirit) and truth(the word).

And lastly, angels are never referred to as sons of God...it was a misinterpretation of Genesis and Job...I explained that to MaxinDHouse in one other thread...u can check d thread out and u can check the etymology of that word or u can ask me question...maybe I will take time to reexplain to u again of that will help...sons of God in Judaism that predate Christianity is used for children of righteousness in each generation starting from Adam to Seth to the period of Job and was borrowed to Christianity in new testament for believers changing it from sons to children of God since Judaism is manly but Christianity is not gender bais...
Check this out below
God bless u

Guy i've told you that you and i aren't on the same page so if you have any question just go ahead and ask, if not hold onto whatever you want i'm not a worshiper of your God.

Your three questions:

(1) Noah and his family didn't become violent like other humans.
Due to the way the giant sons of angels were causing trouble everywhere most people also became violent to combat the violent giants but instead of joining them Noah became a preacher {2Peter 2:5} so God looked down from heaven and Noah and his family were approved for salvation!

(2) No the giants were born by fallen angels but there were male humans too like Noah married with their own children they're the ones Noah preached to not the fallen angels or their violent giant children!

(3) He was 100% human that's why all his descendants were humans.
Let me give you a gist:
Have you heard of Ọmọlúàbí before?
Well the Yorùbá people learned from history that after the destruction of evil people only Lúà (Noah) and his descendants were virtuous that's why they always refer to virtuous people as "Ọmọ tí Lúà bí"

Just calm down and learn! smiley
Lol...u need to change everything about u...u first need to unlearn the heresies and start learning...
U goofed in all ur three points and I will point them out to u...
1)you mentioned Giants for symbol of the sons of the angels(u wrongly infer as sons of God)...if the Giants were sons of sons of God like u said...and u said they av bn wiped off by the flood and even the sand they use to recreate themselves was wiped of like u claim...here is the question...
Who were the giant sons of Emites and Anakites...Read Deuteronomy 2:10
[10](A race of giants called the Emites had once lived in the area of Ar. They were as strong and numerous and tall as the Anakites, another race of giants.

Did the angels remould themselves again after they av bn chained and their element wiped off like u said...did they come back to give birth to these new set of rare gaints or is it another set of angel who fell again after those ones? Think and answer

2) This ur number two and three reply ehn...u no dey fear God?...chai...so,Noah was selective in his preaching according to u and still those ones he selected did not hear? Nawa for u ooo

3) Lol...I can't just laughing...u brought my language Yoruba into this again?...Omoluabi is Omo ti Noah bi (children Noah gave birth to) according to u...Jesus...was Noah Oduduwa or was Noah in the story line of the Yoruboid creation myth?...Jesus...u no dey fear...I am Yoruba...see what Omoluabi means...Jesus Christ...ahhh... Dear udoh2k
May I ask...which passage of the Bible ask us not to drink alcohol or strong drink...cos I av read through the scriptures and the only thing I see is warning against getting DRUNK..
Cos even Jesus Christ drinks Alcohol (since the definition of wine contains anytin that has alcohol) wine
/wʌɪn/
noun
an alcoholic drink made from fermented grape juice.

What do u think about this verse
Read Luke 7:33-34
[33]For John the Baptist didn’t spend his time eating bread or drinking wine, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon.’
[34]The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’

Guy i've told you that i'm Maximus one of Jehovah's Witnesses, we don't do all those stuffs of yours where you give what you have and take from your fellow Churchgoers.
We PREACH and TEACH those who are willing to learn so if you're not ready to learn we will take our leave and you can continue exchanging your stuff with your fellow Churchgoers!

Before Noah's time angels don't know humans are enjoying something they (angels) can enjoy that's why Satan went to heaven and told them to look into what is called SEX. They were moved so they abandoned their abode {Jude 6} and came down to make use of the dust of the ground which God used to form Adam. They formed beautiful bodies that's irresistible for female humans and since they're highly intelligent with the ability to earn whatever it takes to pay ladies all were running after them. Genesis 6:2

For your information that's how Satan dragged one third of the angels in heaven to join him in rebelling against God {Revelations 12:4} and most people do wonder why God had to use flood to destroy Noah's generation? Well it's because God doesn't want the angels to make further use of the original soil He use to form Adam anymore so the flood washed them away and that's why we have deserts on the planet otherwise the whole earth supposed to be habitable for humans with green vegetations everywhere! Genesis 1:27-28

That's the origin of demons God never created any angel to become a demon they left their proper dwelling places during Noah's time and God disowned them! 1Peter 3:19-20

So when the true God said there's no God anywhere else apart from Him {Exodus 20:2-3} it's because all other nations were worshiping demons there's no God beside the Holy One of Israel. That's why He sent Moses and said "i have made you God" because before the messenger of the true God all those demons will become powerless! Exodus 8:18-19

I hope you have learned a lot but if you're still anticipating the usual give and take stuff with your fellow Churchgoers abeg count me out.

Iron do sharpen iron {Proverbs 27:17} it's only applicable in the gathering of the worshipers of my own God so if you're not with us there's practically nothing sacred we can learn from you! 2Corinthians 6:14

May you have PEACE! smiley
Dear MaxinDHouse
I just felt like crying for u...u seem lost and brainwash with analogy that as not ground...u distorted the meaning of Jude 6...read and let me explain it to u
Jude 1:6
[6]And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in prisons of darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment.

Explanation
They (Angels) did no stay within the limit of authority God gave them..."
This angels were giving roles and hierarchy by God but we're deceived by the devil who wanted a higher position himself by promising them a higher and better roles and authority more than the one God has given to them.
Compare it with Isaiah 14:13-14
[13]For you said to yourself,
‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars.
I will preside on the mountain of the gods
    far away in the north.
[14]I will climb to the highest heavens
and be like the Most High.’

Let me explain the later part...
"...God has kept them chained in prison of darkness waiting for the day of judgement"
Explanation
Instead of getting to that higher role, they find themselves demoted and chained(i.e restricted) to the worse and awaiting their judgement.
Compare it with
Isaiah 14:15,19
[15]Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead,
    down to its lowest depths.
[19]but you will be thrown out of your grave
    like a worthless branch.
Like a corpse trampled underfoot,
you will be dumped into a mass grave
    with those killed in battle.
You will descend to the pit.

You went further to distort the story of the flood and Noah...let me ask u and ask ursef or ur teachers...
Why was Noah and his family spared?
Didn't he also carry the blood of those demons?
If he does, are we not all carry their blood?
If he doesn't,how can we prove dat and why did he have to preach for 100's of years...since others are carrying the blood of demons...why is God looking for way out for them...

Think man Think...don't be restrictive I always tell u...u av got potentials...but ur restricting ursef

Kobojunkie:
1. I don't do sects. That said, the only one Jesus Christ actuality commanded His followers to believe in and obey is Himself. So logically if I chose to trust and obey Jesus Christ, it follows that I will not trust nor obey anyone else. Duh! undecided

2a. I do understand "inspiration" which in no way means certification of Truth. In Genesis 2, we learn tha the knowledge of Good and of Evil, all belongs to God, meaning all knowledge is "inspired" by God. Does this mean all knowledge is True? Absolutely not! So stop brandishing the word "inspired" as though it is unique to even scripture because it isn't. undecided

2b. As for what is written in 2 Samuel 24:1 & 1 Chronicles 21:1, if you understand who Satan is and who he works for, you would understand that those two passages speak of the same thing which is that God caused David to disobey Him. Focus on God, not morals and then you will learn God's Truth instead of your meaningless morals. undecided

3. Again, Jesus Christ made it clear to you in John 6 vs 25 - 35 that instead of working to earn your living aka perishable bread, you are to instead work for bread that sustains to eternity which only He can give to you if you submit and obey Him. undecided

I believe God's Truth. undecided
You are just rigmaroling...the question is should a believer work to earn or not... u av bn quoting Bible verses and we av read it...just answer YES or NO...simple...and save us the stress...or are u feeling shy or afraid of saying Yes or No?

1. I obviously didn't understand the reason behind your two-captains schpeel hence the question. undecided

2a. Instruction from the God who only said His own are to teach the world the very same Gospel He taught to them? undecided

2b. As for inspiration, even the lies spoken by the devil and his demons, all of them recorded in the scriptures are also inspired. So I am not certain why you insist on inspiration as if it is certification of Truth. Unless you are here suggesting demons and devils speak God's Truth. undecided

2c. I only believe in the teachings(and commandments) of Jesus Christ, God's Truth. All other teachings that run in conflict or contradict God's Truth,I ofcourse do not believe in.

3. Oh, I do know what Jesus Christ came to do. He came to redeem/save men from God's curse, and make into Sons of God. Salvation, which you all claim is from God's curse. undecided

4. Those who are of the Kingdom of God have overcome that particular part of the curse by believing in Jesus Christ. Eternal life which you get as you enter into through one of the two gates ensure that you will not return to dust when you die. undecided
Ohhh..now am beginning to understand the sect u belong...those who really do not believe in Paul's teaching but the first four gospels...ohhh...I get...
But also u don't understand wat inspire means...that doesn't mean perfection but the need to put down sometin...human error is permissible because it deals with perspective...example is..
2 Samuel 24:1
[1]Once again the anger of the lord burned against Israel, and he caused David to harm them by taking a census. “Go and count the people of Israel and Judah,” the lord told him.
And
1 Chronicles 21:1
[1]Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the people of Israel.

One writer said the Lord rose against David...another writer Said the Devil rose against david...
This are perspectives but that doesn't change the moral and the purpose...

Let ask straight since I know where u belong now...
Should a believer work to Earn or live without doing nothing?

1. So you are saying that you bend what is written in order to have it conform to your will because you are a captain much like God is supposed to be? undecided

2. Paul wrote down the Gospel, Jesus Christ, God's Law in the Kingdom of God? undecided

Your claimed that authority was bestowed upon you in the name of Paul's, and that is what I am concerned with understanding the how and why of. undecided

3. Your rambling does not make sense of any kind. God cursed mankind in Genesis 3 vs 16 vs 22, and then God sent Jesus Christ to redeem men from that curse. Meaning that those who belong to Jesus Christ are to, through obedience of Him, no longer live under the curse. What part of this do you have issue with understanding? undecided
How do u think people see u and ur reply...it does not even correlate with wat ur quoting in my comment
1) Which time did I exemplify God as captain...the captain example I gave was about the man and the woman...go back to dat comment and read again before replying...gushhhh

2) You seem lost in my comment total...who said Paul wrote God's law...I said he wrote the epistle to the church for instruction from God...or do u have issue with 2 Timothy 3:16-17
[16]All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
[17]God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

Or do u not believe the epistle of Paul for service or doctrine cos it seems I don't know u and ur belief...

3) Do u even know wat Jesus came to do?...after man dies...the hope of salvation is the fact that we have hope to be raised at the last day...do u tink as long as man lives...those things God said in Genesis 3:16-19?...if u say we are free from it in this earth den the last curse is "FOR YOU WERE MADE FROM DUST AND TO DUST SHALL YOU RETURN"
Genesis 3:19
[19]By the sweat of your brow
will you have food to eat
until you return to the ground
    from which you were made.
For you were made from dust,
and to dust you will return.”

Wats ur problem with accepting FACTS

I don't understand what you're driving at, the question is about misinterpretation of the Bible.....That's how alcohol lovers interprete that passage judging by what I always hear them say. That "excess" is what they focus on.
I understand u...they are not wrong if they focus on the excess...cos that's wats wrong...and wat do u mean by alcohol lover? Is it people dat love to drink alcohol or peoplethat get drunk drinking alcohol...cos the people who love drinking alcohol are not breaking any rule but those who love to drink drunk are...so,they are different

I see in desperation you are again trying to redefine/twist what is written in order that you can continue bowing to God's curse on marriage - Genesis 3 vs 16 - while you delude yourself that you are redeemed from the very same curse by Jesus Christ. Just know that God is not a fool! undecided

2. God and Paul delegate authority? You actually think God to be an imbe_cile, don't you? lipsrsealed
Dear kobojunkie...
If I and u are captain and well trained ones...we wanna jump into ship...won't we first sit to decide which of us will drive the wheel? Amos 3:3 comes to mind Amos 3:3
[3]Can two people walk together
    without agreeing on the direction?

U are bothered about my usage of God and Paul?...God commands...Paul convey it in writing or do God write by himself to us from heaven?

U talk about curse...why are you surprised...wen Adam and Eve sinned...didn't God curse them that they will die?...when Jesus came to save us...did that still stop man from dieing(natural death) till date? Why do women still available to go through pain in child bearing according to the curse? If the curse is total over?

Ur so funny...u make me laugh
