"By the time Boko Haram form an alliance with the Bandits of the Northwest, a formidable team of fighters will be formed. Thereafter, we can say goodbye to the core-North as we know it. To prevent this from crystallizing, President Buhari should sack his service chiefs. They have no new ideas nor tactical strategy to outmanoeuvr or outwit Boko Haram any more." source: http://saharareporters.com/2020/06/19/boko-haram-attack-hometown-buhari%E2%80%99s-national-security-adviser-babagana-monguno?fbclid=IwAR3Zkv2qnSFSzJKfhwLqwKfiXrNaMTmk11DZCOuhP01lZHka3Ye3gxbtmQU |

HeavenlyBang: Carbon buildup isn't an issue as long as you rev out the car regularly. Besides, you can always get it cleaned out, I believe. Best and (most effective) option is a complete teardown of the heads (banks 1 and 2) Read about walnut shell blasting of the intake valves( the usual culprit). would require investment in equipment. Another is the installation of oil catch cans to stall the carbonization process. Another is the use of specialised chemicals introduced at the intake side of the valve. |

HeavenlyBang: Sounds like a you problem. I'm an engineer, I deal with facts.
Did he state it was a hybrid? No. Would he possibly have clarified in the future? Maybe. But that's not any of my business because, as I said, I don't deal with hypotheticals.
Now run along. yehmy: You have a problem you yet to discover but it will do you good to take note from now so it won't affect you...
So you deal with fact and from inception Amdman already stated fact of how his business is done yet you ignore that fact, aren't you just stupid or something because i don't understand the fact you are claiming you deal with This is getting tiring. Please it is ok and for the sake of maturity let this thread fulfil its original intent. |

radautoworks: We all know who he is and why he is doing this. The one with "obvious camber out of spec" is incorrect. The one with "rust" had pictures and also hadn't undergone inspection which he usually does after a request. It likely does but from everything óp has written in the past, would be inspected upon request and disclosed if present. Op has also always been clear that he works with third party information. So if the third party doesn't mention hybrid and he is not a tech like us, he likely won't know till he goes to see it.
There is a difference between "you may want to check for rust or front right damage" and "this car has front right damage". To make it seem like he's intentionally obscuring is wrong and the same tactics were attempted against me in the past by the same individual.
What this person (again, who we know hates not having the limelight) is doing is speculating without an inspection.
Fact of the matter is someone is bitter. Actually the camber looks out of design specifications, at least looking at the second picture posted( except if you have another viewpoint ). This is most likely from an impact to the affected area and can be fixed easily over here( i have seen instances 10 times worse plying Nigerian roads) But, you see the tone and manner of approach used when passing such vital information is very important. what the 'Google mechanic' did was right, but his intentions might have betrayed him. The irony is that his intentions may be for the good of the prospective buyer because when such vehicles are purchased, the burden of putting it to road worthy condition may far outweigh the cost savings envisaged. But i believe Amdman has taken care of this concern via the introduction of packages such as comprehensive inspection (which could be viewed as a form of 'insurance') once the buyer has indicated interest. Some people (like myself ) would rather buy as is because, well, i like my women dangerous So in a nutshell it is all about your interest and filtering the kind of information you need to guide you in making your FID. You like it , fine : proceed to the next step. You dont like it, move on and enjoy the show.

udemzyudex: This car talk section is filled with cabals and babies in adult body.
The reason i always come to this serious because of the detailed travel post I always read and other car discussions but it seems we now have babies everywhere, always trying to derail the thread of anyone who is not in their cabal.
They claim to be educated but they don't act like one, this is the only section on nairaland I'm seeing this kind of rubbish happening and the mod is doing nothing about it.
It's so annoying. Quite unfortunate. This thread could have easily become an inspiration to many who would like to venture into such exercise (albeit for other brands) due to cost of maintaining an autobox et.al. |

nevergiveup1: You may be correct about the huge gap in SS3 and SS4. It's obvious the SS2 and SS1 are super saturated as shown in the chart here However, something that is not clear to me is the recent 1,050 fresh graduates recruitment. May be they were placed on grades JS2....SS5 (total 975). So the remaining 75 could have been added to SS4? Quite a while bro. I sent you a pm. |
