But you people re-elected him for the second time.So why cry now? Same thing Abia people did,i hope kogi people are watching?
Any governor who can not pay salaries should be sent packing regardless of party affiliation. Go and do your findings, you'll see that no governor in this country is owing himself salaries and allowances. Infact they all receive their security votes as at when due till date.

You should also read again and again and again. Only then you will remember that with Zamfara Supreme Court rulling, PDP now have 47 senators and not 44.
I'm sure you didn't read the news,if you did you would've known that the initial numbers were 41 for pdp and 65 for Apc.
After the judgement it's now 44 for pdp and 62 for Apc. Learn to read properly next time.

GUY, THIS IS NOT A CASE OF EMOTION.

PDP SENATORS ARE NOT DIVIDED, BECOS THEY ARE NOT CONTENDING FOR SENATE PRESIDENT OR SPEAKER HOR.

APC ARE THE ONES CONTESTING.

ALL THE OPPOSITION CANDIDATES WITHIN APC CONTESTING, NEED TO DO IS HAVE A VERY SMALL GROUP FROM APC ALLY WITH PDP AND THEY WIN.

NO NEED FOR THE TYPE OF DESPERATE CAMPAIGN WE SEE FROM FEMI GBAJAMILLA.

I MEAN, WHERE HAVE U SEEN THIS TYPE OF NASS CAMPAIGN IN THE HISTORY OF THIS COUNTRY?

WITH FEMI NOW GOING TO BEG THE SAME IGBOS HE CURSED IN 2015.

IF THAT DONT TELL U, SOMEBODY IS ALREADY A LOSER, THEN I DONT KNOW WAT WILL.
This is why I said that you guys are too emotional. So you haven't noticed that so many Pdp legislators are in the fore front of the election of Femi and lawan?

I'm not sure it will change anything. The way Femi and Lawal are doing their campaigns is bi-partisan and beyond Apc.
Most legislators will vote based on personal agreements on juicy committees made to them by the contestants. I think the campaigns have gone too far already. Femi seems to be overwhelmingly in charge of the house of reps already with endorsements across party lines.I think Lawal will have an easy ride too, especially with Goje not willing to join the race.

Ex-political appointees are hungry for political relevance and access to the state treasury and Obaseki is hearing their greedy voices hence they're trying to set Oshiomhole up against Obaseki.
This is the true position of things. It's not like oshiomhole has issues with obaseki like some people here are trying to erroneously claim.

"sheer incompetence" over a typo. error... Empty barrel makes the loudest noise. If you went to school, then why do the textbooks, which are suppose to guide students and refine them with knowledge, still contain typo. errors despite the due diligence put into their publication? Wherever you are in Nigeria, you should know that Vanguard Newspaper is not responsible for it.
If you were not an empty barrel, you would've realized that a simple publication of not upto 100 words is nothing compared to a textbook. I'm sure you've never heard about the word editors before.I'm also sure you don't understand what a typographical error entails. Friday and Saturday are two very clearly distinct words in spellings, such an error can not be taken as a typo error.Typo error is a spelling mistake associated with typing a printed/electronic material. And for your information vanguard doesn't type their publications outside. So if they're not responsible, maybe you're the one responsible for their incompetence as you've displayed high tendencies of similar traits. And for your information, there are alot of textbooks out there without errors too.

Vanguard is a reputable and one of the most read newspapers in Nigeria, and you called it's publication a "trash"?. Well, I don't know who you think you are but you should learn to recognise a typographical error when you see one.
I also don't know who you think you are but a reputable newspaper can't make such multiple errors in a single publication.
In a very short publication for that matter! This is why we're where we are today in Nigeria, we keep defending sheer incompetence for very mundane reasons.

You've confirmed my suspicion. You're truly a dullard like I thought.
You can't even spell QUIET.
And for your information there's no governor in the southeast that has more influence on members of his party in his state than Umahi. Wase dropped his speakership ambition because of his governor,Simon Lalong. He's running as deputy speaker to Femi now. That's how much a governor can influence things of such nature in his state. Wase was already gathering momentum before Simon Lalong stepped in.

The Oba, who is rarely seen in public, arrived Government House in the company of some senior palace chiefs and Enogies and urged the governor to keep up with his good work. The royal father said: “I came to congratulate you on your swearing-in. I watched it on television and it was very impressive. You have done well. Keep the flag flying”. Aligning himself with prayers offered, His Royal Majesty noted: “My chief broke kola and said, may God continue to enrich the treasury with the wherewithal to do what you are doing. Please finish the projects. Thank you very much. “My brother traditional rulers are waiting for you to continue work in their domains.” The Oba praised the governor for speaking ex-tempore at his inauguration, saying, “you are a wonderful man.” Responding, Governor Oshiomhole expressed deep gratitude to the Oba for his support and prayers. He said: “I am deeply indebted to your Majesty. Your Majesty has been a father to me and to all of us in Edo State. “My own biological father would not have done better for me than what you have done.” Outlining his vision for the second term, the governor noted: “I am determined to do more than what I did in the first term. We have overcome our learning curve.” Oshiomhole listed the next phase of work to include aggressively reclaiming the moat and sustaining the work on the Benin Masterplan, adding that over the next two years, it would be completed. He explained: “Your Majesty, we would restore the beauty of this great city. This is the capital of this kingdom, this is the capital of Edo State. I am indebted to the Bini for accepting me as a son and a brother. By their votes they spoke very loud and clear”.
