The inauguration was done around 10pm not 3pm.
Only 9 members loyal to the Governor were inaugurated. 15 members yet to be inaugurated we not informed.
A member was inaugurated wearing shorts like it was a child's play.

This thing is just everywhere this days. I know a lady who was given similar treatment by her family.She had sent about 12million naira home for her building project, only to come home and discovered there was nothing on ground.The elder brother was buying cars and carrying women in Nigeria with her sister's sweat. When he heard about his sister's return to the country, he ran to Europe with the remaining change. Unfortunately the girl couldn't handle the shock,she started behaving strange and was rushed to psychiatric hospital in uselu, Benin. She's mad today in Benin, i ran into her when i came to town for last year's yuletide.
My inlaw in Japan got a similar treatment from his elder brother too. He was lucky not to have sent too much money to him before he got the information that there was nothing on ground. He wept when he came to see for himself, he had to stay back to build his house himself before returning to Japan.

Lawan has won this one already. The ovation that greeted their respective speeches clearly tells who has the majority support.

Ovie omo Agege is a typical rugged Niger delta man.
He was the only one in the 8th Senate that successfully challenged Saraki the emperor and defeated him both on the floor and in the court.He refused to obey the illegal suspension, he was still attending plenary, his allowances were withheld and he went to court,defeated Saraki and got his allowances back. I remember he served Saraki with form 48 for initially refusing to obey the judgement of the court. Saraki quickly complied before he would be thrown into prison by the court. Not even the empty boko haram boasting senator Ndume could do anything then. He was sent home for 6months without pay by emperor Saraki.
Omo Agege is a fearless warrior and a proud son of the south south. He fully deserved to be DSP and even more!

This boko haram ndume should stop wasting time,he doesn't stand a chance against lawan since goje has stepped down from the race. Even the majority of pdp senators will prefer lawan to him any time any day. He lacks the charisma and temperament for such an exalted position.

Being on ground in Edo is different from being on ground in Benin alone. Binis might be favorably disposed to PDP as Ize Iyamu of the PDP got most of his votes from Benin areas. But this does not go for all parts of Edo.

There's no contention about this.Amaechi is far more prominent in national politics than Peter obi.
He was speaker of speaker's forum, he was chair of governor's forum ,he lead the victory of Buhari twice as DG campaign, he's minister now and most likely to be reappointment again because he did very well as transport minister.
Peter obi still needs to do more in national politics.
