I think I may have a simple explanation. Toyota Camry's are very popular corporate cars, and are generally issued to senior staff over a certain grade level (Corolla's for junior staff). The options are usually Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, most people I know choose the Camry, except in the North, where I find people choose Honda's. Now these cars are part of the salary and incentive package, and are usually monetized until completely paid off in 3 - 5 years. If you do the calculation, the cars issued in 2007 and 2008 would just now have been paid off by the employee (2007 - 2012), who would now be seeking to sell and upgrade or simply get something newer.

I was 15, my dad took me out one bright Benin Sunday in the 504 station wagon, drove over to the Airport (which was all bushy back in the day), showed me the fundamentals, and then we switched places, and off we went! Had trouble with mastering the equilibrium / timing of the gears and clutch, especially while focusing on steering. Almost ran into some bushes once or twice, but all in all was pleasant once I got over my initial fear.

Dad was a trooper that day, never yelled at me. God rest his soul! Wonderful memory and bonding experience for a 15 year old girl and her papa!

Before y'all celebrate, think about this - some of the most harmful after effects of water flooded vehicles come from improper drying, leading to dangerous mould breeding in your car. Black and Green mould are incredibly dangerous when you breathe them into your lungs, with the ability to grow in your lungs! Some of the symptoms? Persistent cough resistant to medicine, upper respiratory problems that just never seem to go away.

I would be very careful if I were you, and do a proper mould remediation on your vehicle. My suggestion? Google "mold remediation vehicles" or something similar.

I am always curious and saddened when I read / hear statements such as this - US v. Islam? How exactly does this movie lead to such a statement? What in reality does the US have to do with this movie? What is the connection that so warrants this level of hatred, destruction and murder of innocent diplomats? Why is the US so vilified for all the ills of the world? The same US that was heralded for acting as an ally to take down a leader the Libyans themselves revolted against? I dont get it.

This Movie was made by a fellow who is, from all indications a fraudster, operating fraudulently in the US for several years, involved in cheque kiting schemes, operating with several identities etc. If he were truly an artist, he should have a strength of conviction in his work of art, and stand up to it and for it. Where is he? Disappeared into thin air. Hiding like a little coward!

May I suggest that instead of focusing on the increased bill, you ask yourself if your consumption increased? For instance, if you had power only 2 hours a day prior to this increase, and now perhaps you have power 6 hours a day, does it not make sense that your bill should increase? I have heard comments about the improved power situation around the country, now realistically, along with that increase, do you all expect an increase?

We pay between N60,000 and N110,000 every month for electricity credit. It hurts like hell, but I do it because we have 24/7 power, and my family is relatively comfortable. Before we moved into a serviced flat, we would spend easily N80,000 per week on diesel, in addition to purchasing electricity credit. Electricity is one thing I cannot compromise on at this point in my life!

WE all have to make up our minds, are we more concerned with the bill or the service? If the service, then happily pay your bill and encourage our leaders for further improvement. If you are more concerned with your bill, and dont care about the service, then may I suggest the ultimate energy saving method - Simply switch off your metre!
