NairaLuck: Actually they reply mails, so they replied my email 4days ago giving me tracking ID but I had already gotten it days before they replied. As difficult as it is keep trying to reach them by phone. It's faster, it's better as you might clear every possible question at a goal. Please which email address did you send to? Can I get it?, they're yet to reply to any of my emails and queries. If you have a different phone number too, please let me have it. Their mobile number is always busy, or won't go through at all, when it does and connects, it stops with the agents. My passport has been ready for collection since December 03 at Abuja, I paid for a 2-way courier via DHL and I'm yet to receive my package. It's so annoying. |

Please is anyone with the mobile numbers for Abuja VFS? My passport has been ready for collection since 3rd December and I paid for 2-way via DHL. They're yet to notify DHL, I don't know how to reach them. Are they not supposed to notify DHL to pick up my package? What kind of wahala is this again? I've sent emails once everyday since then, no information from them. I tracked my return waybill and it still has the received information, no dispatched tracking. DHL is waiting for their notification. Nawao!! |

Dee4Doyinsola: Please who has been able to reach lagos VFS today. I have called over 120 times and they keep saying busy. I have been calling the famous 08150199900 and whenever I call the other line 09093303109 the agents said the Canada line was busy the times I was able to get through to them. Please edit your post and remove the second phone number. That's a wrong number and the owner is complaining seriously about calls from Nairaland disrupting his business calls. |

Rootiab: Good evening everyone. I just made payment for ielts exams, although I registered yesterday and it's to expire after 48 hours and can't be reactivated. So when I emailed them they said they work only Monday to Friday 9-4pm. Now I don't know whether if my application would be terminated. 48 hours should be 2 working days, weekend days should not count. Goodluck! |

Psychosocial: Hello guys, I am preparing my online study application. My program starts May 2021. I have been denied once already in 2018 on the grounds of personal assets and financial status (I got my GCMS notes). At the time, I used an agent then, but I’ll be doing it myself this time.
Since then, I have acquired some personal assets with tangible worth.
I have well over double what it costs ($24KCAD) for yearly upkeep in all my accounts put together.
I plan on applying as a sole-sponsor.
I’m thinking of paying my tuition before applying; but this transaction is not going to be made from any of my accounts
How would this fly if I present the receipt of payment from the school for a full academic year and tender my bank statements that show well enough money for upkeep
All other supporting documents are in order, including Employment letter, Employer references, 5 months payslips, Pension statements, tax clearance certificates, Statements on all my accounts, and property documents and their valuation documents, even an Affidavit of Return, lol…
N.B: My program is a one year M.Eng program to my B.Eng. Your profile looks good. I think your school tuition receipt should suffix and won't create issues for you. Pay your fees and upload the receipt with your statement of accounts at the proof of funds section. Goodluck! |

Makitoperor: Should I just defer The admission or I should also Send in the new admission letter into my visa application when I get?? And can I be rejected cause for the admission letter You won't be rejected because of your admission letter. We've got people here with their visa already and they're going in Fall 2021 session. Deferring the admission gives you time to relax and wait for your application decision. When you defer and receive a new acceptance letter, you should raise a webform and attach the new letter to it. Goodluck! |

For clarity: if a Proficiency letter is directed to a school in canada, how can I use it for another school cos it will carry the address of the school I am applying to just like attached. Mine wasn't address to any school. I don't think it has to be address to a particular school. After my school's letterhead, it was titled English Proficiency Letter, they didn't include any school's address. Goodluck! |

davo99: Wow....Thank you. So that means that after this "eligibility review" stage, it is straight to PPR and so on for say, an application submitted in November and or December. If you pass your eligibility review, you'll receive a Medical Request, MR. When you pass the medicals, you will receive a Biometric Validity Letter, BVL. This letter means that a decision has been made on your application (If you don't receive a Medical Request before you receive the BVL, its most likely your application has been denied). After MR and BVL, then PPR, Counterfoil and LOI. To the best of my knowledge, no person has recieved AIP here after that date, so I believe the applications submitted after September 15 2020 are following the normal TRV processing which is the process I defined above. Goodluck! |

Thanks for helping AIP, Approved In Principle was introduced by IRCC as a two-stage process for Temporary Resident Visa Approval during the peak of COVID-19, mostly for Fall 2020 students to start online classes. It was discontinued on September 15 2020. Normal TRV Visa application process has resumed since then. |

saskatoonguy: PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP GUYS I'm a lawyer with registered Law Firm, I Have an account which i have fixed for almost a year but right now it is no more fixed. The Balance in the account is #6,500,000 (22,110CAD) and another account which i run on a regular basis with Balance of #2,500,000(8,500CAD). I have Paid Tution fee. My Program is MBA(2years). Spring Intake
First Year Estimated school - 17,500CAD
Tuition deposit Paid - 6,000CAD
Total POF at Hand(after paying tuition deposit) - 30,610CAD
My Question 1. Is the above account balance enough for POF and if it is enough, How can i package it?
2. Can I submit the two account as POF(Combined) or there is another way to package this POF
Please I need the insight of Seniors here as i am about to submit my application. I am guessing you're a self sponsored applicant, your POF should show the full money for the program ie tuition plus the LE for the 2 years of stay. Your tuition is CAD11,500 after deducting your deposit. So you will need to have CAD11,500 + CAD20,000 (living expenses for 2years) + CAD3000 (flight and miscellaneous) in your POF. Sums up to CAD34,500, and you should have a little left over for assurance. This is what I did in my own case as a self sponsored applicant. You can submit 2 accounts. You also need to show proof of legit earnings, so if non of the 2 accounts is your salary account, you will need to attached your salary account too to show evidence of salary payment, together with your payslips. Finally, in your SOP, you will explain all this details in the Proof of Funds section to ensure the info is easy for the VO to understand. Goodluck! |

I just received my counterfoil and my application status changed to approved. Decision envelope dispatched back to Abuja VFS. I am still waiting for my LOI till now. My passport was sent to Abuja VFS on Nov. 24 and I've recieved 5 emails already from VFS based on the status of my passport. I guess its moving fast when compared to what I am reading here. I'm glad I sent my passport to Abuja from Lagos.
I sent via DHL 2-way courier, when should I expect to receive it based on the current status? |

JustMellow: Hello Insanity,
In contribition to what you've said, I believe you meant to say CIMA or BCS in IT. BCS would be preferable because of the fast pace to CIMA. If RxOtunba can score CLB 7 in TEF and retake IELTS by maxing out, 472 would be achievable. Another option if lucky is get NOI for PNP.
One love bro Yes bro, you're on point. Thanks for your corrections. Cheers! |
