scantee: wahoo is really high, most professional training is always expensive, i could recall when i did my fibre optic training, i paid 50k per hour, i spent ova 900k doing that, i wil advice you look for individuals that can teach you, the certificate does not matter, they hardly ask for that, all they care for is if you can handle it, or better still go and do primavela 9, if you can do that well, i might link you up for Ecvaos where such people are needed. I did both premavela & pertmaster in South Africa, is very interesting.

Seriously, ​We have very few talented musicians. Outside asa n co, others are just simply rubbish. Maybe i just like a different genre of music, i like music wif a very high lyrical content like rock, SA house music. i listen to music to get inspired and uplifted, depends on ma mood though but the songs in this country right now lacks everything i believe music is. Yea, Covenant Uni. D eng'g design course was just for a semester and dat was d only drafting software we were taught, I can't say if they've upgraded their syllabus.
After from autocad which was general and compulsory 4 all eng'g students, we were taught software related 2 our discipline. Chemical and Pet. Students were taught m. Excel, matlab, V. Basic and Hysys (D time wasn't sufficient to cover that).

Okay, you did it as one of ya per semester courses, that's good. So, i guess all you need right now is to brush up on ya skills and you are good to go.

I can bet that a graduate of Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Columbia, MIT, Stanford and Berkeley will never even apply for a 180K job not to talk of grabbing it. 180K naira= 1200USD$. The day such people start applying for 200k naira job is the day education stops being relevant

That said, I do agree however that many foreign degree holders, especially from the normal schools abroad, can die to get jobs that pay 100K or less. In fact, a friend just told me about one lady that is a call centre agent in Lagos with a master's degree from Canterbury..She earns 75K. hahaha. Waste of money and time acquiring master's, if you ask me.

Willingly, I would accept that my nephews, nieces, children and family members attend foreign schools only if they are top schools, a la world's top 10 (I can manage and extend to top 20)..Anything less is a waste of space, time and money. You must sit down in Nigeria, period!!

For me, for instance, if I must do an MBA, then it can't be at a place below Columbia..

i can kill to get MEng from MIT or Berkeley but their fees are unless i can get a scholarship which is vry competitive for a 2:1 graduate. Personally, i think schools like Utexas Austin, Texas A&M Uni, CSM colorado school of mines etc are very good schools esp for a Civil Engg grad. i just hope i get scholarship to any of the five schools above whn i strt applying nxt year.

Most naija oversea masters program are in low grade schools, that's the problem. They just follow the crowd but sometimes its 'cuz of their inability to get into the top schls on scholarship or low cgpa.

You have sales and marketing experience, you can check out marketing/sales executive. Is there no corelation of logistics and business administration? i will advise you to subscribe wif and visit it @least once daily. Don't give up soo easily, i was called for interview in a construction firm for an opening i applied since March, i've forgotten about the application sef. Its been 2 months now and ​We've not heard frm them, only 4 peeps was called for that interview and non of us have been called. You should be strong, try Uя best, evn try better that ya best, that's all you can do. Believe me, you'll be called.

i want to comment on ya address. Evn though i stay @ asaba, i have like 10 CV formats; for entry lvl, 1-3yr exp, abj add, Lag add, PH add etc 'cuz i have friends i can stay wif if i am shortlisted and so many others. U have to be really smart 'cuz the job market is extremely competitve right now. Am subscribed to a lot of job sites, so i get a lot of emails on a minute basis, you need to know whn the vacancies are availble. Subscribe to linkedIn.com, interact with other IT professionals, you will learn a lot about the trending skills in that particular industry by joining IT groups in LinkedIn. Research more on Cv formats, just google 'sample resume entry level IT', go through the results and you'll know ya CV needs A LOT of work. Goodluck and don't worry, you will get there.
NB- Always structure ya CV and cover letter to the requirements of the company you are applying to. Don't just apply wif ya default CV.
